I can't find any open short data for BAB strange.
There is some perculiar movements on this stock. Very strange.
Well that support didn't last long ??
I can’t understand what warrants the drop to be honest.
This seems to have some good support around the 326 range it has bounced back up of numerous times the last few weeks, needs to push back a clear break over 334ish where it keep gets rejected the last few weeks.
It looks like Frazer Nash completed in October after the half year. So I assume the cash will be in the second half.
Also the £419m for the two sales announced presumably wasn't yet deducted from the 30/9/21 Net debt ?
No bad news from this conservative group of leaders is a positive. On expectation for end of year probably means they are comfortable about the year. Their COVID costs have reduced as they are no longer doing site testing. Increased revenue is a good reversal of a negative trend and will impact margins going forward. They will have had enabling costs for exits which will be a one off drain on cost but good news going forward. Other thoughts ?
Good news for once!! Looking like everything is on track!

massive impairment charge announced several weeks ago by company caused sell off
Look into U battery. They are in phase 2 with BEIS in partnership with Cavendish nuclear (wholly owned subsidiary of Bab****)
Any thoughts on the UK now focusing on net zero and rolling out more nuclear power? Do we see BAB potentially playing role here further down the line? If so it could be interesting..
Part of the course, the fall back.. It will pick up I believe nearer next results around December..
I am sitting tight and not panicking at the drop though its put a dent in my portfolio of which there is only one :-). Paper loss at the moment and I don't need the money back just yet so happy to sit tight till it rises again which it will. Could do with another sale too.. Nothing to suggest there's anything negatively impacting the SP. Just an adjustment probably... Keep your nerve it should be fine
Its had a substantial rise in a short period of time so imo the SP has just fallen back naturally. Not good news so see it falling back but, just like you, others will see value at this price. I am sitting tight as I have found no news at all in recent days.
Seems like this is dipping quite a bit the last few weeks is there any particular reason? Or just the market in general. I bought in this morning seems like it is in the oversold zone atm.
Hawki2s, you must have uncrossed your fingers, sp down 3.23% today, can't find any other reason !!
A bit movement upwards again, fingers crossed for more
nice uptick another 15p to go and back in the money
Very low volume so no concern here. Still expect 400p + in the near term.
This would have been a must retain/win for Bab****. I would have expected them to have protected margins while seeking the investment required in these facilities to drive greater productivity. This event will pep the order book up for the half year review. Dividends will follow when the balance sheet is healthier and cash projections look predictable. The leadership have a mid to long term play that has a good chance of success.
Great news, but I am of the opinion people have lost interest they are sick of success without reward. Noticeably not even the company can raise an RNS, rue the day I got involved.
Future Maritime Support Programme

Ah, but how is Greece going to pay for this contract? French and the rest of EU taxpayers money?
I would agree with this. On the road to recovery with a conservative board who people should expect to underplay the potential until they have compelling evidence of success. Believe it has a chance of £5 in May 2022. Based on solid result, stronger forecasts and communication on future dividends.
