I am afraid to say the negative poster is filled with brainwashed facts, straight from EU comments boards. These boards are aflame with misdirected anger.
Instead of castigating poor decision making in Brussels, the desire to hurt AZN , the Oxford vaccine and the U.K. is menacing.
No its not. Its the same principle.
You do realise the Astrazenica vaccine can be given over 65 as well? Working in the NHS I would know better. Again I suggest reading papers, and reputable sources. Still dont have a source what you are claiming, and still no answer if you ever had the flu vaccine.
What you are claiming is again untrue. Currently no mRna vaccine (Moderna and Pfizer) can be stored at room temp. You want to wait until a mRna vaccine that can be stored at room temp is approved? Another year of lockdowns?
Biontech VACCINE ,Pfizer are the Junior partner.
Of course vaccines efficacy makes a difference and comparing them to telsa cars is childish
Biotechnology AZN cant do, Biontech and 2 others have done, hence why it can be given to people over age 65.
The other and 3rd mRNA vaccine can be stored at room temp and lasts 3 months anywhere in the world, its the one vaccine that will help the world

The EU signed the contract 3 months later and its different to the basis which was agreed with the UK. Cant blame the company if they are slow to approve and slow to sign.
An analogy with the Pfizer vaccine. We are aware it has better efficacy. Its like Tesla who has superior electric cars. But because of the cost (and in the case of vaccine distribution as well) will you see Teslas everywhere? Answer is no, cheaper electric cars are more widely seen. They both help to combat climate change, like how both the vaccines are helping. Not everyone in the world can afford or roll out the Pfizer vaccine due to its logistics.
Thats not at best when different dosing regimens can give better efficacy. Its not just the trials generating more data, any vaccinne now is generating more data and tracked, all new drugs follow that process. The data is promising with the longer time between each dose increases efficacy and in time that data will be released. There is evidence in the papers efficacy changes with different factors, the MHRA has given it the figure on the strongest evidence yet but additional data is promising. Also I stress again its better than the flu vaccine and I presume you will never get vaccinated for the flu then? No news source to show it doesnt work against Brazilian variant?
You do realisw the UK makes most of its own batch here and fill it here. Theres always going to be teething issues with production and why would they prioritise the EU when its not approved for use yet?
Its at best 62%
The data the MHRA have and produced show 62%
You seem to want to change the MHRA data, of course the vaccine as not even completed its trails in the USA an dhalted them in Brazil
Everyone wants a safe good vaccine, but when you alter data to suit AZN CEO BS comments, it makes it worse.
62% means 38 people in every 100, are not protected.
The EU can take every Euro back from AZN and impose License refusal, its very simple, if you want to play the little britian card, suffer the consequences and that means Biontech Pfizer license wont get approved for export as well to the UK.
Good luck
Again its not at best 62%. The timing of the dose regimen improves it, and data is constantly being generated. I emphasize even with the lower end its better than a flu vaccine. I presume you dont ever want to take a flu vaccine then? Have a read of the scientific journals....the logistics of the astra vaccine is so much better than the Pfizer one. They all good vaccines and each has its own advantages so dont go knocking or blaming a vaccine that will end the pandemic
It has not beem tested and failed against the Brazilian virus. Your news is wrong. The Moderna and Pfizer one has data to work against the UK variant. Where is your news source?
Its the EU fault entirely. Slow approval and different contracts to the ones other countries negotiated. They were slow on the ball.
its been tested and failed against the brazilian virus, and Sanofi/GSK have stepped in to help produce the Biontech Pfizer vaccine, which todate is the best of what is available.
Unfortunately
AZN and Nahdim Zahawi the rook are failing and hoodwinking UK citizens with a vaccine that at best achieves 62% efficacy, those are the facts.
The EU invested £3 billion in vaccines, it invested 3 times more in AZN than the UK government, so when they refuse to issue l licenses that allow the vaccines to leave the EU they are well within contractual agreements on all Pharma companys
Thats incorrect, no evidence to say the Astra vaccone does not work against new strains. Its also the EUs fault for not sorting the contracts early. Also they havent approves it yet like the UK so what are they moaning about? Efficacy lot better than 62% with new dosing regimen (yet to release full data) and its already better than flu vaccine. I dont see people questioning the flu vaccine
TR4 you managed to confuse me even more, what do you try to say; that you want AZN to fail and they deserve deserve to fail? Have you looked to their distribution strategy? Are you aware that in the last 10 years AZN bit the FTSE?
Why are you here to convince the rest of us to sell?
Its time the shady AstraZeneca gang if rooks were held to account, they fail to keep contracts and will face Tariffs in the EU
Personally, I am not bothered about the Oxford AZN vaccine, its a failure to do trials properly and to provide details of data..
Only 62% efficacy and it does not work on new strains, where as Biontech and Moderna show up well on new strains.
AZN should know now.. Vaccines leaving the EU “need a license, the EU can and should stop the license , thus the UK can take on the manufacture of the vaccine, and not Belgium Factorys
