of dealing volume. Good news everywhere. Industry awards. Product praise from artisans who use the stuff and yet sp goes absolutely nowhere and it is becoming hard to see where this outfit is heading... Proving a boring investment..
With new product innovation http://www.ttjonline.com/news/medite-tricoya-goes-modular-280113/ http://specificationonline.co.uk/news-article/3129/medite-medite-sails-to-superyacht-pocket-spa-design-success Reputation-raising EU Timber Regulation 26 January 2013 The EU Timber Regulation (EUTR) is designed to strike a blow against the illegal timber trade in Europe and worldwide, but compliance imposes new burdens on the bona fide industry. TTJ quizzed companies across the sector on their readiness for the new law and their views on its long-term impact Jessica Van Zetten, Quality Assurance Manager for Accoya Producer Accsys Technologies We are very supportive of the EUTR. With a sometimes marred [environmental] reputation, it is time for the timber industry to be responsible and transparent and the Regulation should help ensure that it is. For Accoya, Accsys currently sources 100% FSC- or PEFC-certified timber, which goes some way towards ensuring legality in the supply chain, and EUTR compliance will support this further. Much of the raw timber we use is also harvested from New Zealand, where there is no history of illegal timber trading and forestry law is strongly enforced. So we expect the EUTR will also have a positive impact on Accoya sales, as architects, specifiers and end users increasingly favour transparency and legality. The regulation may also limit the availability of certain species of timber from some areas, encouraging more buyers to choose Accoya wood.

The recent rise in AXS could be attributed to this? Ha ha, Guess someone had a whisper of RNS and hoped for a better result, Stuff you MM's, should have let you have them but youll pay more one day! http://www.investegate.co.uk/accsys-technologies-(axs)/rns/accsys-employee-share-participation-plan/201301160900566664V/ hey ho, staff placing, but gotta love the confidence. 0.14 euros, bout 0.12, should have dropped out at 0.18 but had faith we could have sustained it given the possible future, The 0.18s I have will come good, I have faith but play the game and if we hit the0.12s again then fill your boots. On history, give it 3 months and you'll hit 0.18s, 50% not to be sniffed at, hopefully with some new updates, WHO knows where we'll land??? World coverage, green products, cashflow, new factory being built,....... Not a ramp, just my view, been here a while now and seen the trends. This time I'm ready. One day we'll take off, sooner rather than later though im thinking. Take care
Interesting comments about their marketing strategy. I'm studying Architectural Conservation and I've chatted to proffessionals in online forums about this product. Seems like everyone who has used it can't fault it apart from slight issues with compatible metal fastenings. I think it needs to be getting established as the 'go to' timber replacement for bodies such as local councils, Historic Scotland etc. Lottery funding etc. is where the money is rather than private residences. Too many homeowners feeling the squeeze to spend more than is necessary just now, even if it's short sighted of them. too many folk going for the quick fix rather than conservation standard.
Looks like some great buying on fri, maybe we have some news in the offing? Fingers crossed.
This should be a world-beating product that’s why I invested in the company, an investment which is proving to be a bad one with 60% loss at present! I need to replace wooden sash windows and glazed balcony doors with new double glazed units to meet conservation area requirements. My enquiries of suppliers indicate that the majority of them have never heard of Accoya relying on engineered redwoods as hardwood substitutes. Those that are aware of it seem to be of the opinion that it is not cost-effective to use given the requirement to use stainless steel fixtures and fittings in construction of Accoya based products. One or two of the smaller firms have been very enthusiastic about the product but have difficulty in persuading customers to specify Accoya when making a purchase – again cost as well as availability seems to be the barrier. I feel that the company needs to additionally focus on sales to smaller organisations which are in the business of supplying bespoke timber products to the domestic and small business market. From little customers big customers grow and footslogging salesmen meeting small timber product businesses is one of the avenues open to increasing awareness and sales of Accoya in the UK. My last point is that I have never seen the product on display in Wickes, B&Q, Homebase, Travis Perkins, Builders Depot, or Selco Builders Warehouse! These are the outlets at which smaller builders, D-I-Y and the general public come to make timber purchases but Accoya never features! Come on Mr Clegg you and your fellow Directors, with their excellent connections with the UK timber Industry, need to extractum digitum and earn your salaries and fees.
Disappointing. Struggles to hold on to gains... Oh well just sit and wait for some more good news.
This is the problem I have with this one. Any news on recent rises out yet? 4th time in 12 months weve been around this level just to drop again. Can this push on or give in now and wait for .12 again. 50% gains every 3mnths or so or hold on to watch it drop by a third again. 0.18 on no news makes me think someones had a whisper somewhere, just wondering what we could expect with some good news. Great products, world coverage, green ethics, everything points to more patience and find funds if it does drop but so frustrating. Cmon axs
The recent gains. Build from here with the right support.
Got in here myself after a tip last new year, just breaking even again but no stress, didnt have funds to top up when lower but happy for the future. I agree that the products are starting to speak for themselves, just a matter of time now I think. Give it another 12 months or so and I think ill be glad with my buy. Good luck
Excellent posts. Have been in this share for over a year and think at last it's being noticed because of the quality of gthe products and their potential.
Accoya coming somewhere near you. Hopefully. Think this product has some great future. Onwards and upwards http://www.constructiondigital.com/green_building/accoya-helps-restore-iconic-windmill
Looks like another interesting day ... No idea though still why!!
Building. GLA
Finding this very difficult to follow... Shares are in euro's so converted into pennies and then on HBOS rounded up by a 1000!! Serious buying though buthave seen these strange situations before so remaining calm. This is after all AIM..
Nice movement.
With BP and Ineos floating around something should happen .. Cautiously oppy!!
If the SP does get the support... Not a lot of resistance until 22p.
To me it was all a mystery why it dropped but then loads of other "risk" shares have as well in the last year. Prehaps a monster order is on the way. BOL
But what.. Have scoured inter web.. Doubly squit... I know their products are superb and some big players are in on it but there always seems to be lots of activity on trades.. been in this for ages and ages and has really gone no where then whoosh..
Got to be some good news leaking about this. Nice to see.
But why??
