And so the lights are on http://allafrica.com/stories/201509210287.html Onwards and upwards
The Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) will on July 29 start trial tests on a new 542-kilometre long pipeline from Mtwara to Dar es Salaam for between 40 and 60 days. "The gas processing plants and the natural gas pipeline will be ready for trial operation on July 29," said TPDC managing director James Mataragio. He said the Mtwara to Dar es Salaam pipeline will transport 80 million standard cubic feet of natural gas per day in September and the capacity is expected to rise to 1,002 million standard cubic feet per day. http://allafrica.com/stories/201507271752.html

Construction of the Government owned and operated Mtwara to Dar es Salaam pipeline is now 100% complete and the two associated processing facilities are approximately 96% complete. Regarding the Company's assets, construction has commenced on tying-in the existing four development wells and installing flow lines in order to supply gas to the new pipeline and two of these wells are now fully tied-in. The Mnazi Bay Partners have been advised by Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation that some delays have been experienced in commissioning and startup of the gas pipeline project and, as a result, delivery of first gas into the pipeline is now expected to take place in July 2015. So generally waiting for first Gas to pipeline sales, and the last round of drilling due sometime soon.
A monday RNS would be great, that would liven the board up a bit, must be nearing now, 90 days from 5th august after delay. But then what with clearing and testing might not get results till dec? Though I hope sooner. Shame to see todays price, great though if your getting in now.
Some hefty trades today, bit confusing with all the delayed trades, some not very big ones. Are they short of shares?
Great news on GSA, and with drilling on going we should have more great news out soon. Keep it going Bob
A 1:5 consolidation it would appear. Never saw any notice of it though.
Aminex and solo doing well on their seismics. WRL are drilling the same basin, lets hope for a gusher. So after our 45 day delay we should be a third to half way by now. Another month to wait but hey its only time. Too scared to break out to chase the others, will wait patiently here instead for now. You never know when that RNS will come. Will it be roses or thorns?? Ohh to wonder, imagine if the first one is great though, then the second, then the third and might be a fourth. Anadarko have done their homework, they wouldn't put the bit in the ground if they didn't think they had a chance. Ill say 80p as initial target if all goes well, see how it pans out. And if not, well, you gotta love the game. GLA Take it eze
Yes wouldnt it be great? 1000% in a day would put us at about a fiver. Awsome. But then and please correct my maths but 10ish % of 1.2 bln barrels = 100 million barrels ish @ say £20 barrel profit = £2 billion / shares in issue = about £13 a share, Now theres a dream. One day maybe
http://allafrica.com/stories/201406232475.html Wentworth is one of the minority shareholders in this well. The operator is the American company Anadarko, with a 35.7 per cent stake. Wentworth has 11.59 per cent, PTTEP of Thailand 10 per cent and Mauel et Prom of France 27.71 per cent. The remaining 15 per cent is held by Mozambique's own National Hydrocarbon Company (ENH). A Wentworth press release says that the “Tembo-1 well is targeting mid-Cretaceous sands with secondary targets in the upper Jurassic”. The huge deposits of natural gas discovered by Anadarko and the Italian energy company ENI off shore in the Rovuma basin are in much younger sands, from Eocene and Oligocene periods. The Jurassic and Cretaceous periods are both divisions of the Mesozoic era, and since the great majority of oil discoveries (about 70 per cent) have been in sands of Mesozoic age, Tembo-1 is perhaps more likely to strike oil than any of the offshore wells.
The start of drilling at the Tembo exploration project sets in motion a catalyst-packed programme for Wentworth Resources (LON:WRL). AIM-quoted Wentworth has an 11.59% net interest in the Anadarko-operated well, which is the first of two planned for the next six months a third could follow if there's some success. Managing director Geoff Bury believes the high-impact Tembo well could add significant new oil or natural gas resources for Wentworth and open up an entirely new play fairway. An exploration success at Tembo would be worth between 9p and 58p (risked versus unrisked) Taken from file:///C:/Users/Dave/Downloads/Proactiveinvestors%20UK%20-%20THE%20BIG%20PICTURE%20-%20Wentworth%20Resources'%20Tembo%20spud%20sparks%20catalyst-packed%20period.pdf
Yes it does seem crazy that its so quiet on here, after all, there is quite a lot going on. Are we just under the radar, do many actually know were drilling? Like you say though, once the RNS comes out it can be too late. But not only have we this drilling campaign but all being well monetization from gas sales early 2015. Could just be a sleeping giant? Good luck all anyway.
The under the radar ones are the best. The RNS that creeps out of nowhere one morning and they all go crazy. Either that or we could have a sustained interest and a steady climb in anticipation. This company is i believe where it has been planning to be since it bought the rights from cove energy. They may only have 10% but that is of a potential 1.2 billion barrel oil discovery plus gas condensate on the way down. June 21st spud of a 60/90 drill so we could be just over half way. We could get a hint on the way or just a report at the end, who knows. Great play though. Cant see much downside from here. And again, not only one well but certainly 2, maybe 3. Good luck anyway whatever you decide.
