Looking at the accounts and as by no means an expert it seems the company has invested $1.2b to generate assets of around $700m and remaining debt of $700m to incur an annual loss of $100m? Even with business cahnges there is no anticipated new cash flow for at least 2 years?
It was very pleasing to see the successful launch of Hylas 3 last night,
and the coming few months ahead regarding in orbit and acceptance tests etc.,
will be eagerly observed by us long suffering shareholders.
I really do hope the new team at Avanti can deliver and sell out
the capacity of this advanced and unique satellite system.
This may be a good time to top up, as i did earlier today and average
down at the same time!
I have seen this company over the years and the declining share price - I was wondering with all the restructure would it be considered a reasonably good time to buy an hold?
GREAT JOB!

Avanti Communications Group plc
Successful Launch of HYLAS 3
Avanti Communications Group PLC (AIM: AVN) ("Avanti" or the "Company"), a leading provider of satellite data communications services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, announces the successful launch of HYLAS 3 from Kourou, French Guiana on Ariane Flight VA249 on Tuesday 6 August 2019.
The Ariane 5 rocket launched HYLAS 3 into its correct orbit on schedule. HYLAS 3 successfully separated from the Ariane 5 rocket on time and telemetry was received by the control centre at the European Spaceport.
HYLAS 3 is a hosted Ka-band communications payload on board the EDRS-C satellite - a public private partnership between the European Space Agency and Airbus. This is the second successful launch of an Avanti payload in as many years and brings total fleet capacity over EMEA to 50 GHz.
Kyle Whitehill, Chief Executive of Avanti, said:
"I'm pleased to announce HYLAS 3 has been successfully launched thereby completing our capital expenditure cycle. The satellite will undertake a series of pre-planned in-orbit acceptance tests over the coming months before we commence service for customers."
Fantastic News of the successful Launch ! That's all our Capital Costs behind us now. Cash Cow from now on in. Come on you AVN Sales folks lets see those numbers flow ! Recruitment drive shiould begin to bear fruit now folks. Debt!?? What debt!!?? I would expect to see that pesky term swallowed up by the output from our new super-enhanced sales teams !!!
Onward and Upward !!!
Lo behold, 15 minutes later we get a RNS :0)
We could tell them, just in case they forgot.
I suppose they know Hylas was launched last night?
Now we can see why this stock is languishing at 0.001% of what its share price should be,
I am a shareholder and watched the launch, and I cannot find anything from Avanti shouting this from the roof tops far less outer space.
Williams always countered brilliant news unnecessary woes - the current bunch were taught well!
Our headline news is still 5G in Limassol!
No wonder we are not a household name!
If we cannot make a splash in the UK what chance do we have in Africa and th Middle East?
Over 7000 people watched the launch live last night according to Ariane.
Hope this really kick starts the SP recovery , we need start landing the bigger contracts and bring value to all the hard work work which has been done .
GLA
Great to see a successful launch.
All the best to Avanti with Hylas 3.
Successful deployment :D
How can our share price be so low there is nothing you could buy in a shop?
It really is amazing what Avanti has achieved technically. Looks good so far!
