Arc have never planned to be copper miners, they are explorers. It's going back a bit but see this presentation by Remy from 2020 where he is asked that specific question:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaX-EwZcMOw .
Of course, times and circumstances can change and they are now working with Anglo who definitely would like to produce copper, but I don't think many here expect Arc to still be involved if/when that happens. Most expect the company or at least its Zambian assets, to be bought out before that happens.
As a relatively minor holder (100k shares) I'm in here for a longer run return, albeit with a level of risk. This BB has a high level of expertise in the operational side of ARCM, and as such I'm interested in views as to what time period is envisaged for either a meaningful output of Copper or proven reserves?
The share price has been a lot lower than it is now and it didn’t deter me then, when we didn’t have a signed JV. I do however remember Peggy selling when the price was in the 2’s (so he said anyway) I bet he had a face like a damp squid that day!
BM your posts on the 31.03:
• Fair enough, Ella. I do think it is really impossible to value juniors pre-discovrry, and yet they have to have a value. I am personally not surprised by the possibility of 100m mkt cap within a short time of the JV signing and would be happy to hold my shares until at least a 200m mkt cap, at which point I think some derisking comes into play. I currently hold 9.2m Arc shares, about 0.5% of the company, and am pretty relaxed about this holding, given the fundamentals for copper in the coming decade, and that AAL are taking over ops (I am certainly no fan of NvS). Wish you good fortune in whatever industries and companies you are invested in, I hope you don't buy any arcm as I am seriously considering rounding my being up to 10m shares, so the fewer people buying in the coming days the better from my perspective
• Ella, I don't see why 100m for 20% of the JV would be unrealistic at all. Anglo are here for one or more tier1 discoveries. In the coming decade, a t1 cu mine in Zambia could well be worth 1b+. Seems to me that if Anglo know what they're doing and drill well, a 50p share price here is not unreasonable in some years.
Peggy,
IMO the drop is the result of people selling who were expecting a quick "buck"
The market is rubbish and it never happened, these people are probably now leaving looking for the next rainbow to chase.
Long term holders should recognise the potential here especially as in effect Anglo have derisked the company and will be funding the Zambian drilling.
Yes it would have been nice for the wider market have seen that but at the end of the day I'm selling nothing, there could be a life changing strike here, or there might not but I'm not here to try and make 1p a share.
Lol an out and out liar am I, Travis? About what, do tell? Perhaps you mean yesterday when I said the sp will continue to drift lower, and to prove me a liar the share price is down 4%! Glad you find it comic, I just find it really sad for all those suckered into this in the 6/7/8p range who may never get their money back. Arc still represents a great opportunity to lose money, until it drops to a more realistic market value for a company with very little cash left, a high rate of cash burn (just check the latest accounts to see for yourself) and no JORC resource.

err... it's squib btw
I've not sold any as I think eventually I will be squids in....!
Priceless, and almost worth unfiltering him for,but not quite-https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/6f564861-bba5-4089-a19b-ccd7d0f50dda
I think you will find all squids are damp Peggy- it’s something to do with where they live. I suspect you were referring to a squib that fails to go off when wet.
Be that as it may, I bought in here as I wanted a copper exploration play. To my simple mind, without the JV the squib was doomed. Now I’m looking forward to the fireworks.
No, no, no There are Tingo shares, they are worth millions of dollars and liquid. Remember? Look at the posting history of the Sage’s on this board.
I checked the trolls simple post for facts and all of them are lies! Battery is an out and out liar but we all know that! He has now become a comical turd!
Just millions of dollars coming in from a signed JV with a major, who will fund our exploration in Zambia, with a world class exploration team in Tier 1 copper country.
Millions that will then be used for further exploration in Botswana and any other opportunities in Southern Africa that may arise.
What an awful position for exploration minor to be in!
Fully funded JV with a major, plenty of cash to use towards further opportunities, a board that’s brought home the best exploration JV with a major in recent history and much much more.
Toodle oo trolls, strap in for the ride!
Happy Sunday to all GLTH
Manx
I expect the share price will continue to drift lower, which is not so very surprising because the co has no defined resource, high cash burn (just look in the annual accounts, it's all detailed there), large bills to pay to the bankers and lawyers for the JV, and currently very little declared cash. These are simple facts which any prospective investor can verify for themselves.
Now Zen,I couldn't agree more and expect as they say "a news rich period" :-))
The risk for holders was always the possibility that the DD on JV would decide against signing…the news is that that has happened…the next issue becomes is there anything of value to discover…time will tell but I am happy to trust AA expertise and long held knowledge on these locations…an additional risk was dilution of shareholder value due to new issues to fund exploration…all covered by AA….so really it becomes a waiting game…my view remains such patience will eventually be rewarded many times over. I was very surprised at how little the JV has cost so far, maybe more to come but then again even apart from the $3m there's quite a bit of cash coming in. Tingo got a nice mention in the CC and is looking v promising ,and Valore are really going for it . But that's not what the filtered morons and the parasitic narcissist want to hear-Shame ! More news incomming I'm sure and an interesting and productive 2023 awaits!
Besides about £3.5m of total admin is attributed to the share surrender of options. I expect it'll be even higher this year what with the admin costs to attributed to the Zamsort/Handa restructuring in the interims.
However, as per the recent conference they have enough capital on the runway ATM through various channels and I'm personally attributing a hell of a lot of weight in terms of their financial position to the fact they have now free ride of over $80 million in exploration and cash payment in respect of their retained interest in Zam assets.

Making posts selectively visible to oneself isn't market abuse Ella, lol.
Personally I'm happy to engage in discussion and hear genuine views that are contrary to my own. In fact it's important. However if I choose to filter posters that are here to wind up that's my choice.

Admin expenses for 2021 were £5.4m.
Deleting posts or making them selectively visible just because they express a different sentiment on the share is likely to be considered market abuse. I hope that Nick and Sasha realise this and ensure that this practice stops.
Greenbox or report them.
They are just on the wind up and clearly they have nothing better to do in life. Also, they don't back their opinions with anything meaningful . Just a lot of generic mud slinging and sadly very predictable and unoriginal.
Yawn.

As I know how much he enjoys my overlays I have prepared some new ones :-)
