Tingo group Shares up 15 % , May it continue.
Just got an email from the BoD and they are putting out a TR1 tomorrow because Battery has crossed the threshold. Not sure if they mean shares or lunacy :-))
"Yes, sorry to tell you I do still have lots of arc! :)," Battery metals. And pigs might fly. Liar.
https://climateknowledgeportal.worldbank.org/country/zambia/climate-data-historical#:~:text=Zambia%20experiences%20a%20predominantly%20sub,May%20to%20mid%2DAugust).
Zambia is in the southern hemisphere so August is the middle of winter, not summer.
Steven,
Dry season is now in Zambia, heat of summer is August time.
Basically drilling could start immediately and I would imagine Basic preparation work would have already been done.
You believe wrong.
People never mention ones that got wrong lol, hoping that mayb will get drilling going in dry season which I believe starts August, in zambia
9 times out of 10 those that are needy enough to boast (or claim) that they have multiple millions of shares are normally bull.5hatters.
This is not always the case but the latest "big I am" I would suggest most definitely is.
I have a huge holding in ARCM. The reason is because it is incredibly overvalued.
I make a habit of finding explorers that might have a huge, HUGE upside and going overweight.
Then I start telling everyone how worthless they are. I can’t think of anything better to do with my money. You see, I’m trying to get rid of it. And hopefully take a few coins from others who believe a word I’ve written.
GLA.
Yes, sorry to tell you I do still have lots of arc! :). And it will be a long time before we have enough info to make an informed decision about whether or not that was a good decision. For obvious reasons I want to see major drilling success but the probability is pretty low, and big dips will present an opportunity to buy smaller quantities if there isn't any bad news. I also have similar sized holdings in two other explorers, all depressingly valued right now except for arc, which is strange as they are the ones with the lower cash burn and actually have defined resources, unlike arcm. Still, it just gives the opportunity to add a bit with my spare cash although the mm's are rather mean with supply and greedy with spreads for anything above £10k.
Nothing to agree to - its reminding you of what you stated and I`m not interested in you rambling on trying to make out you know what you are talking about. If you did you would not need to post on here.
Irrational - you sure are! Do you still own 0.5%?
Arc and Kopara together own 30% of the JV which is split 67% Arc and 33% Kopara
If the joint venture runs to its conclusion
The % ownership of the joint venture will be
Anglo American 70%
Arc Minerals 20.1%
Kopara Investments 9.9%
Are Anglo investing up to $88.5m for 70% of the licenses because they think that is what it is worth?
No they are confident that the 70% is worth many multiples of that investment or they wouldn't have committed to it.
Yes, I agree, those statements are indeed all true, but very dependent on actually finding something! The upside is almost limitless in junior explorers, but that doesn't mean they are *worth* 50m with no resource! There's no reason shares cannot behave irrationality for a while, and whilst a share can sometimes double on good news, it became very clear over the days before the JV was actually signed that there were a lot of frustrated investors trapped in arc and just looking to get out. That never makes for a big price rise.
With some T1 discoveries, it is possible to see many multiples of the current share price but it is not likely. Such T1 assets are worth so much precisely because of their scarcity. Perhaps Anglo will make better decisions this time than they did when walking away from the same Zambia targets some years ago. Or perhaps the smart thing to do would be to have stayed away from these Zambia licences. The truth machine will reveal all in the coming years as it turns on Anglo's dime.
But one inescapable fact is that there simply isn't anything to support a 50m market cap, but the market can remain irrational for longer than most people can remain solvent.
Baron bought 4m last year as well...plus the ones he has not mentioned, rarely wrong
You don’t have to be an investing genius to see that the downside for Arc is extremely limited, we will have a guaranteed income for several years plus the other assets we are holding or will hold from the Casa sale. We still have exposure to income from Casa and Sturec. We have licenses in Botswana which have two of Khoemacau’s priority exploration targets extremely adjacent to our boarders (one of which is a short distance from where we were drilling). That’s before we get into the Zambia licenses which have at least 4-5 major targets any one of which could lead to a major discovery. When you compare the downside with the upside potential frankly I’d have to ask why you would NOT be buying!
One thing about Baron is he rings up CEO's of companies he's interested in investing in /or meets them in person for a one on one. A veteran of AIM and well respected on social media. Doesn't throw his money around on just any company, but mostly revenue generating. Junior is less, but still does a few investments. Can't believe the dissent/ insults towards someone with a great track record of investing. Guess he'll be buying XTR in the morning ( any CB company maybe not)??
The really really smart ones spend their time posting on a share they don't believe in. Now that is smart.
Spike tomorrow, 4p on the cards...
The smart ones are buying.
