Evening all,
Not been on this BB for about a week or more, I think, and hardly been checking the SP (so once, or twice a day :-P - enough to know it's been.... interesting. Again).
I've got loads going on on at the minute - in a way it's nice to be busy, but I'm too tired to do more than I'm doing at the minute.
I've only read a couple of threads tonight, but thought I'd post here : really good to hear the same names (& some newer ones) being cited for keeping the good ship Argo on the straight and narrow.
Wild ride, hey.
GLA.
Hodl for the Godl & always keep sight of the fundamentals :

Hi LimpingAlong. With BTC circling around the 38k level (which we know is a timing issue) and ARBKF finishing at £1.75 equivalent this evening, it may present another opportunity tomorrow to average down for some in the group.
Thanks SprogBarnes. That's an interesting proposition! Allegedly! Some extra reading for me. I'm not too clued up on shorting but I probably should be given how it has impacted us.
@Saby I mean for example if I earnt £10 a day I’d spend £1 of it a day on Argo :D I can’t help it either, it’s become involuntary. :( ArgoHolix anonymous.
Well probable true if you set your sell at a reasonable acheivable target in the short term - eg 300p. If you set really high like as you state £100 then as this price is very unlikely to be hit short / medium or even long term then I expect the brokers / mm's would not be worried about lending them out for shorting purposes. Imo
Nice work BarneyR and everyone else who's survived the recent rollercoaster!
One thing we can do (allegedly) is put a sell on ALL your ARB shares at a high price (eg. £100) as that means the MMs can't lend them out. This should reduce stocks available to shorters and help the SP to be more stable going forward.
GLA!
It’s nice to get a thread like this for a change, a good news story and another pair of sticky hands on the team who’s rolled with the punches and come asking for more. GLA
10% of your wage every day? Means in 10 days you have no money left ;)
I also find some extra ti invest here but now will be a bit wiser. BTC is moving down rather than up so I'll wait not for the another retrace. I know I am deramping but with @240p for £250k buy I need all the help to see this in profit this year.
I buy 10% of my wage every day, can’t go wrong that way.
Thanks Stnz. Really appreciate the kind words. I must admit I took a deep breaths before pressing the buy button. It was a bit concerting averaging down only to see it fall again and again. Glad to have caught it near the bottom of this cycle.
Thanks SR123. I'm much happier now!! I have never held so many shares in one company that fluctuates as much as this. It's a proper thrill ride!! Although like most of us on here, I prefer the going up to the going down!!
Well done my friend, it takes a lot of guts to throw money after money but if you’ve done enough research and understand the business you’re buying, it’s that little bit easier.
So well done again and well done to everybody else, ignore the trolls and the hysteria on the next cycle because once we break ATH again you can bet your left ******* that we’ll see an irrational dip again at some point, if it does happen again and company fundamentals haven’t changed, everyone will know what to do.
Thanks SR123. I couldn't bring myself to let the derampers win!! Glad and relieved I took notice of the sensible posts. :)
Thanks BarneyR. Hopefully History proves we are all early joiners :)
Thanks kiaweeze and congratulations on your first post. I know I'm a late joiner but it didn't take long to form a bond (albeit virtual) with the kindness and support of fellow Argonauts. :)
Here goes, my first ever post....
Thats Fantastic BarneyR and very well said. I also owe ALL the above people a huge amount of respect and gratitude. ARB was only the second share I had ever purchased and largely due to a few of the people you mention. I bought a small amount at 6.835 and intended to HODL (learning all the acronyms along the way) for as long as it took, not so easily done on such a bumpy road, but when ever I felt a wobble there has always been a word of wisdom (amongst all the noise) to remind us why we are still here and why we are Argonauts! :)
Apologies for sitting on the side lines so long x
Thanks Adamskiii. It has really be a huge learning curve for me, and I'm sure plenty of others.
Argobull. That was my mistake. I didn't leave sufficient to leverage. I loaded up the ISA's the day before the March reporting figures. I'll be following that advice for future dips. :)
mictickle1. Haha. If I buy a Lambo it will be for me, and I may let her sit in it!! ;)
Thanks Herdie and LimpingAlong. I'm really excited for the road ahead (maybe in that Lambo!!).
Good luck Fly_bird. Hopefully it won't be too long before you and everyone else is in the blue. GLA.
Nice one! Glad that some of my thoughts might have kept you level and will hopefully make you a decent return.
As herdie has said I think we’ll see plenty more ups and downs but ultimately I think long term there’s still a lot to run here.
If you’re ever in any doubt or some of the derampers are getting to you zoom out on the BTC charts, read the RNS and review some of the more reputable forecasts on crypto. Keep a level head and it’ll be happy days!
Watch out Barney R - she might ask for a lambo today.
Nice thread, thanks all. I'll let you know when I'm even lol. LHTs, eat well, drink well, sleep well and live well.
Nice one BR I’m not going to lie I think we will see plenty more ups and downs on the journey yet, but hopefully higher lows will set in and make it a little more comfortable for everyone involved. We are still early and that’s the really exciting thing for me ;)
Well done on holding through the pain Barney! And well done to those that were able to top up near the bottom. This won't be the last dip, so make sure you're not over leveraged too much when the next one comes round!
Nice one @BarneyR, well done mate and well deserved.
****ing myself hope so
Thanks Barney. I have to say after 40 years of dogs it makes a pleasant change
I'm not telling my girlfriend, just in case I make enough money on these to run away. No point warning her!
Haha RC. Indeed. Wise words again!! A still tongue keeps a wise head. ;)
