Not worth the time.... pity this could be a useful arena

“ Texas is already full of nodding donkeys... it doesnt need another one.”
Neither does this board. Filtered.
Does this miss the point? Why did PW buy the data centres in the first place, surely at that time with foresight of rigs moving to Texas. What happens to that real estate now? There is something uncomfortable feeling about ARB deals. Nothing ever turns out as sweet as it was first envisaged. Machines dont get delivered. Mergers have access to debt that can't be used. Texas has access to 800MW. Well whhoopy do.... we're using a quarter. And every raise for Pluto costs ARB more than Pires.
Moving machines is temporary downtime... the forward looking rationale is reasonable. Theres just seems alot of suboptimal decisions in the mix. in my opinion. So come on PW... helios... on time on budget fully rigged and powered up. Texas is already full of nodding donkeys... it doesnt need another one.
IMO.
banzii, with respect, that’s nickels and dimes. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
"Argo will move its existing hash to Helios, that’s part of the plan, ‘captain our own ship’ etc."
But we own at leat two of the data centres in Canada (bought back in Jan/Feb time).
I can see the sense in filling Helios with Core S site machines when whatever hosting contract expires but I'm concerned on the economics of moving our other kit to Helios. All the time that machines are being pulled out, packaged, shipped and then reinstalled (with possible modification for immersion) at Helios is down time. And you won't send 1 machine at a time, you'd do a container/lorry load at once.
My gut says buying second hand for immersion at Helios will be cheaper and not temporarily impact our current hashrate.
Its like a playground on this chat!
Yeh appreciate what you said fp,
it’s easy to see it’s all a lie. I’ve always been upfront on here with what I buy and sell.
Like I say not getting involved
just like to correct a fact , that isn't one
FP I posted my Lloyds account on Stocktwits so he’s making up he whole story for a very small part of my trading its just bs and bitterness.
Doesn’t like how bizarre I’m guessing…..
Yep show me terrible lol cost average with3 accounts and I was day trading it until it hit 66p Lloyds is my $hitty retail account where it happens is on ig prices costs cheaper etc, but let’s play into the lie dukesy…..
So effectivelyfrom December to September arb made me just shy of 260 gb profit and if I had walked away end of February it would have been a lot more.
Thankfully I sold 180,000 shares on September 15 th 218k gbp went to North American miners and that was cashed out end of November for just under 430k gbp, then we have 32k usd yesterday from Mara and riot, merry chrimbo boys and girls x
The profits tell me I shouldn’t keep these miners for more than 8 weeks and I’ll never consider doing hodl with miners again that goes to crypto.
Peace and blessings x
Hahaha….I knew Chaebol was full of s**t.
Not wishing to get involved in your love / hate relationship
But will say.. No one with an average of, or who bought at 66p sold any of them in the 50's
Sp went right up through the 60s in a couple of hours
And never went lower than 63p from the time of the 80p placing after retreating from the 120s
krautyankee - warranty is 12 months.
Yes much better to mine at Helios - figures quoted of 2 - 2.5 cents per kwh which is very cheap and will improve our margin - and the immersion system should give us extra hash via overclocking.
https://blog.bitmain.com/en/bitmain-extends-the-warranty-for-the-antminer-19-series/
Game set and match based on lies and cognitive dissonance…..Well its all fantasy easy to bs isn’t it dukesy, after all you paperhanded your shares at 20p
Fact end of February I sold nearly 300k of arb to buy a holiday home in Norfolk 10 Melton street if I hadn’t bought that I would have probably kept all the shares.
But you don’t have access to my other accounts as i don’t show them on Stocktwits after that sale I bought a few more shares highest one at 270p 10,000 shares ouch. So 200,000 shares averaged at 143p which I sold at 123p.
Dukesy why are you angry with me it’s not me causing this sp to fall or do you really think that.
good point blubay, I guess if their costs of mining at helios are as "low" as we all hope, it would make sense / (cost) to unplug them and ship them to texas. I have no idea what kind of warranty period mining rigs have.
lol :)
you got him bang to rights, duke!
Why not just buy & hold? Sometimes sitting on your hands and doing nothing is the hardest investment decision to make, but the most profitable!
As KY stated these are existing rigs which are already in use by Argo at the Core S site so no new addition to the hashrate. Good to see the case done with though and deed finally moved to Argo.
Remember, they will need to use out of warranty machines if they’re going to immerse and over clock them at Texas, so I’d expect to see lease machines moved plus additional second hand market orders.
Ouch - That timing would make me blush and I’m the worlds worst at trading ;)
"4500 rigs. these are still locked into the 24-month hosting agreement with core scientific."
A reasonale amount to own in a shortage, if they did get moved to Helios it would be around 14mw of the 200mw accounted for.
Lol dukesy you been perving on my Lloyds account but what about ig Hargreaves lansdowne.
The sp is speaking….. what’s caused it to do to £330p to 110pand don’t say me
"(It’s spelt Celsius by the way)"
Ffs doh.. I can't even copy and paste a simple word haha.
BTW no negative spin from me, I think it's a good thing.
Hasn't the bitcoin founder dude recently gone through court or have I just read old regurgitated stuff on my news feed.
I think the thread needs deleting haha
4500 rigs. these are still locked into the 24-month hosting agreement with core scientific.
Or the court papers?
Don’t know how many, maybe someone will be able to estimate from the hash rates, or maybe there’s a clue somewhere in the prospectus
