Not me. Slightly higher costs for purchasing overseas equities (on HL at least.)
I'm sure this has been covered, but who here is going to purchase arb via nasdaq? I'm tempted
Doesn’t really matter.
Ah, now that you mention it yes I have heard of that, although it didn’t occur to me. Good call!
Amanesia, you may be interested to read about the Dunning-Kruger Effect. You pretty much described it in your previous post but as you didn't mention it I am assuming (sorry) that you are unaware of their work. They throw a certain light on many posts on investing BB's.
Maybe. I hope so!
I'm sure he's not serious Amanensia. Just having a laugh at winding people
up.
Normally I wouldn't dream of calling anyone out on predictions. We all know making specific predictions is a mug's game. But in Tiger's case I will make an exception. He is absolutely remarkable. A solid year of very specific predictions on a variety of shares, and virtually all wrong. But that's not the surprising thing. The surprising thing is that he doesn't seem to have learnt the least amount of humility or caution - he is completely convinced that he's right, all the time, despite all evidence to the contrary.
Me, I do OK at this investing game, but if I manage to get 60% of calls right I reckon I'm getting a bit lucky. Certainty and complete self confidence are probably great traits for, I dunno, maybe a soldier or a politican, but not an investor. Constant questioning and a healthy level of self-doubt are not weaknesses, they are strengths.
Poor Tiger, don't be so hard on him, it only went below $47k for 20 minutes !!
Yes, consistently completely hopeless
More like completely hopeless..
He is very consistent if nothing else!
Tiger has a history of failed predictions both here and HE1 where he said it would be at £1 by end of july and yet it currently sits at 8p....
Quote from Tiger above:
"Common sense , now watch btc hit 48 k by close of market today . It won’t go lower than 47"
Didn't hit 48. Now below 47. Whoops.
Ohhhh do they make one? I'm afraid I have no idea, I don't really care about cars at all. I drive a pick-up.
Actually, maybe I could get a job in Texas...
Just go away, Tiger. Ex investment banker, as if.
Why on earth would you leave when it's just getting good?!
What does ‘mash up’ mean?
It should reach £2 in September as I predicted which will be my exit point.

I found this forum a day or so ago. Instantly recognise the Tiger16 personality type from other boards - there's one for each stock i follow, and they're always full of it, inconsistent, and just mash up the board with nonsense back and forth.
So in the last few days you've predicted as the price immediately after the IPO:
- £2
- £2.40 - £3.00 (which will be "spot on")
- £4+
Which is it? I just want to know how many lambos to order.
Let’s hope it is not flower pot ,another de tamper trying to Mis lead so he can buy no today before close ready for the big spike upwards .
If btc was 50 k we would already be £180 .
Common sense , now watch btc hit 48 k by close of market today . It won’t go lower than 47 -
Let's hope its not...
Bang tiger on the head!
Amanensia pls get your facts straight .
I have said it all over in the context of sell arb or get out . I have said it in the heat of the moment to describe my frustration , I and a big holder at £223 .. hence I haven’t sold a dime . I also don’t offer financial advice .
HE1 is a excellent buy in my opinion as they have found helium , and they are fully funded for the next drill . Again watch that explode ..
Call me out next Friday . You will be saying bang on tiger
Amanensia
Watch what you post! The board prefect might be reading!
