Many thanks.
Delayed them 3 weeks ....was mentioned at time of the acquisition
They were initially scheduled for today, but the Voiseys Bay transaction meant they would be delayed a few weeks. The VB RNS stated the annuals would now be 14th April.
Shares just landed in my ii account
I'm Barclays and not received mine yet! :(
So where are the Finals scheduled today?
Mine aren’t in my ii account yet. Never again with Primary Bid
Finally the shares allotted to me have arrived in my investment account with Barclays. Hope every one else has now received them. would be interested to know what broker took the longest.
Not sure if posted before, Interesting overview:

Afternoon all, for info re our Inco Performance Minerals investment, they are hoping to have the new Mobile, Alabama processing facility up and running mid 2021 :-

Re cobalt, I think Julian would be the first to highlight the difference between abundant supply vs supply from operations underpinned by good ESG principles. That matters, and as time goes on it'll matter more and more.
Agree re vanadium. I think Largo is a good place to be now the shackles of the Glencore offtake have been cast aside. Income from Maracas Menchen should continue to grow as production increases and vanadium prices perform as most of us expect.
Back in August Treger didn't seem that enamoured with cobalt ?

Thought (probably correctly) than vanadium was more interesting
I see Trident are going down the same route but this time targeting lithium. Got an alert on my PB account at 0700hrs. Very short time frame to buy, 3 hours left! Will see how TRR price moves this morning then see if I take any because the PB offer price is nearly same as normal price.
Cant quite believe this but just looked at my account and shares are in. Yesterday, wrote a formal complaint to primary and got an email from a person called Kerry saying she would investigate. Secondly rang II and opened a transfer case. Bottom line one or both of those worked. Good muck but NVER again for me. Wasted HUGE amount of time on this
From my understanding, Primary Bid is trying to be all things to all people and have a level playing field. And while it is actually commendable that companies and investors support such iniatives this is novel with a steep learning curve for investors, companies and brokers to ensure its success.
But experience cautioned me not to use version 1 of anything new until all the flaws had been addressed. Usually by version 3 there is sufficient familiarity with protocols, procedures and practice to run smoothly.
I have preferred to buy in the market or IPO or, on the rare occasion when the hat is passed around through established routes. Primary Bid is yet to be such path hence I did not participate.
I have emailed anglo telling them I still dont have my shares and would never deal with primary bid again. Perhaps more importantly I started emailing primary over two weeks ago as was told that they had tried to transfer the shares into my II but that i needed a sole name account rather than the joint account my wife and I have. This I then opened two weeks ago and still no shares. Repeatedly emailing primary I have been told daily that they are speaking to II to arrange the transfer but each day nothing. Yesterday I rang II who told me I must initiate the transfer by filling in a transfer request on my account page ! This I have now done and received an email saying they have started and transfer will be on or by May 5 !!!!!! If this is true I will miss the big dividend. God knows who will get that. In summary I am disgusted and v unhappy that Anglo went down such a poor rote for loyal shareholders. I hope this post helps people and if so I would urge you to make your voice heard with AP. In conclusion I will NEVER deal with primary again, even if shares are at a 50 % discount ! Sadly I still have little confidence that I will get these shares and god knows how I get my money back
I think it is a real shame that companies like AP have been attracted to Primary Bid as a cheap way to raise money. It's probably a great way to bring dodgy AIM companies and gamblers together, but not for companies who should be respecting their shareholders. I used PB once and my broker first refused to accept the shares and then lost them deliberately. I know PB work with some brokers, I wonder if they pay those brokers to handle the paperwork, but not the others. People need to start voting at Agms for companies to raise offer shares to existing investors first.
I am expecting it to take 4 wks with Barclays and they tell me they received the documents from Primary Bid last week - they just dont care. It will take a lot to pursuade me to buy shares this way again. Has anybody written to APF to express our dismay ? They better not place this way again.
Your not alone. I am still waiting also.
Has anyone had primary bid shares credited to their ii share account yet ?
Beyond a joke now
https://www.mining.com/web/booming-electric-vehicle-sales-drive-surge-in-cobalt-prices/ Tesla has agreements with Congo for Co.and it "allegedly" controls it's ethical origins.
Nice little snippet on APF, thanks.
Thanks for that, but while cobalt may still be necessary for non solid state batteries, I can find no solid state chemistry that includes cobalt, but I can for say graphite and lithium, although solid state batteries may still be 5-10 years out for full scale production, I cant really see the EV market taking off until solid state allows charging in like 15 mins compared to a couple of hours or more for non solid state.
Cobalt just doesnt seem to play any role in that future compared to graphite and lithium that may still be used in some solid state technologies. This is why any graphs that show future EV demand past say 2030 could be irrelevant for cobalt as solid state should be the standard by then. Perhaps this will still pay off handsomely before then, I just would have liked more future proofing in case solid state batteries arrive sooner than expected.
The very ESG lobby that APF is trying to please is the same one that will push for battery chemistry to move away from cobalt as fast as possible to stop it being mined in the Congo.
I hope this is our last deal in cobalt at least.
@Commando- Cobalt is not being phased out of battery technology , but due to the present and predicted price it is being reduced in the technology i.e. they are no longer "cobalt dependent" but "Cobalt plays a crucial role in the cathode of lithium-ion batteries",any many other green applications.
