Can CBD or CBD oil help treat endometriosis? Yes, CBD oil can help treat some patients with endometriosis. Endometriosis causes major inflammation which is one of the reasons that individuals experience pain. CBD and CBD oils are known to have anti-inflammatory properties.
What's helping to manage that pain going to be worth.......
1 in 10 women and those assigned female of birth of reproductive age in the UK suffer from endometriosis.1
10% of women world wide have endometriosis - that’s 176 million worldwide.1
The prevalence of endometriosis in women with infertility can be as high as to 30–50%.2
Endometriosis is the second most common gynaecological condition in the UK.3
Endometriosis affects 1.5 million women and those assigned female at birth, a similar number of those affected by diabetes.4
On average it takes 8 years from onset of symptoms to get a diagnosis.5
Endometriosis costs the UK economy £8.2bn a year in treatment, loss of work and healthcare costs.6
The cause of endometriosis is unknown and there is no definite cure.
Endometriosis, diabetes and obesity to feature in £12m govt barriers-to-employment studies
The government has awarded £12.4m to six “ground-breaking” pilots which will seek to better understand some of the biggest barriers to employment in the UK.
Endometriosis will be the focus of a “first-of-its-kind” initiative with the Office for National Statistics – an investigation will be launched into how the condition affects women’s participation and progression in the workforce. The project will inform future government support plans for women.
Endometriosis costs the UK economy £8.2bn annually in treatment, healthcare costs and loss of work.
Maria Caulfield, the minister for the women’s health strategy, said: “Through the Women’s Health Strategy we have set an ambition for all women and girls with severe endometriosis to experience better care, with reduced waiting times for diagnosis and providing funding for key research into the condition.”
She continued: “The support doesn’t stop at health, and today’s announcement demonstrates how we’re taking a cross-government approach to help women with endometriosis get back to living their best lives.”

CBD found to be most effective anti-inflammatory
CBD in particular proved to be highly effective and the team investigated it in more detail with regard to its mode of action.
The researchers were able to determine that CBD activates the 15-lipoxygenase-1 enzyme, which triggers the production of inflammation-resolving messenger substances that subsequently cause the inflammation to subside.
The researchers were also able to confirm these results, which were obtained in cell cultures, in animal experiments on mice.
Co-author, Dr Paul Mike Jordan, explained: “CBD thus induces a switch in the affected cells, so to speak, which steers the inflammatory process from the promoting to the inhibiting side.”
In the long term, the insights gained could lead to new therapeutic strategies for treating inflammatory diseases, the researchers conclude.
They add that the focus should be on CBD, which was found to be the most effective cannabinoid in the study.
The research was carried out within the Collaborative Research Centres PolyTarget and ChemBioSys of the University of Jena, Germany and has been funded by the German Research Foundation.

With the near Term NHS Scotland Trials creeping closer and closer i cannot help but think this minnow company really is ticking high profile boxes and also with high profile attendances that we are pitching at again means we are attracting the Pharma sector more and more and from this ridiculously low sp we really could move very fast indeed on the slightest sniff of success!, we must also be a stand out company for an approach given the NHS direct route that is emerging and the people on board with us like Professor Clive Page giving us the accreditation to a company making all the right moves! good luck all
Unlike you I don't give 'assessments' or, indeed, start waving my hands around tearing my last hair out. Nor do I pop up to bash. I simply post the RNS and you can make your own mind up.
What I DON'T do is have a meltdown because I chose to huff out of the Telegram group, not once but twice, then abuse anyone who will listen, including the CEO who signs up to explain things, a rare treat for shareholders.
You seem to think that you and Gazzleberry are somehow more important than anyone else here.
Your assessment of why that person stopped posting seems to be missing out the fundraise the next and the SP tanking.
Correction, her posts are still here. They've just been bumped well down by repeatedly abusive screaming and tag teaming of two posters, one of which has popped up again when it suits. No doubt done on purpose to try and obscure her posts.
'Melissa and Charles both exist and live in the next village to me. In view of the amount they have invested they are not going to let this fail.'
I know. :)
It's also shame that certain people think that they're so important and noteworthy that they have to try and ruin what was a very lowkey forum anyway, abuse the CEO, post vulgar, vicious comments at other posters and generally act like a child having a giant tantrum, all over something that is supposedly only a trade to them.
I can't see Melissa's posts here anymore so presume she's left, her attempts to explain the situation to genuine shareholders overwhelmed by someone's overbearing personality traits. A shame, but far more concerning and imo embarrassing for the poster in question.
I wish to thank Melissa for responding to my RNS post. I found her response helpful and clarifying and wish to thank her for taking the time to do so. I think her reminder that farmer and pharma are both risky was a useful reality check for me. I'm hoping one of ANA'S plays is a coordinated think tank/lobbying pitch to HMG (Hunt and Badenoch) to encourage them to take MC seriously l, if they arent doing so now, and for their agencies and trusts to do likewise. Don't we need this economic growth, after all?
Melissa and Charles both exist and live in the next village to me. In view of the amount they have invested they are not going to let this fail.
Hi DJ,
First line was mine, the rest was mr gazzle, posted to this BB, man of many faces.
Thanks Bruce. I do my research and invest accordingly and don’t listen to ramps or otherwise.
The contributions yesterday were genuinely from Melissa. She is a certified user and I know she’d said she was going to join LSE and provide a response to the comments made about the RNS last week. I think she was genuinely trying to explain the rationale.
I suspect had other users engaged with her positively then she might have continued to contribute, but she probably sees little point in making more comments based on the negative reaction she got.
A shame really because shareholders could have a got more insight directly from the CEO. Hey ho.
Wise words from MrG himself.

I thought it was amusing. In the main, nothing that is said on these boards will affect the share price. There will always be weak minded souls who will buy / sell on the basis of ramp / deramp but that is their look out. Do the research and invest accordingly.
Yes, and that makes complete sense because there have been 2 sells and zero buys.
Frankly there is no sense in discussing anything with you because you are clearly bitter about something and no matter what anyone says you are not going to change your opinion. I suggest you sell up and move on to buy something where you feel you’ll have a more positive experience.
In the meantime, I’ll leave you are Gary to talk amongst your 2 selves as you clearly have lots in common.
0.28 = Fact
On Monday there were 13 sells totalling 1m, all between 8 and 8.15.
I bought 1.1m, my son bought 500k and there were 4 other buys between 100-200k. These are the facts.
Sorry if you don’t like these facts because they don’t fit your agenda, whatever that may be.
On that subject, I’ve never really understood why you are here since all you do in moan and complain. At least we know with Gary that he is constantly looking to trade, because he has said that on more than one occasion, and that is why he behaves as he does.
The SP is a reflection of the demand and supply. I really haven't got time for this.
