"Anybody know what was the catalyst for this massive drop over the last couple of weeks?" No sorry, haven't got a clue mate! Best to read the company RNS's, and perhaps read a few previous BB posts.
Anybody know what was the catalyst for this massive drop over the last couple of weeks? Looks like it is a bit of a bargain now to me
is becoming very predictable now...take it up in the morning over the course of 2/3 hours and then drop it all the way back in the space of 30-40 mins.
Again today, and can still see them taking this lower by 4.30
Thanks for the reply. Happy with that. Been watching for a while since the fall. Just bought in. Hoping for a price back in the 5's and with the dividend will be a nice investment. GLA
...someone possibly will not arrive there...
Garydav2, the answer to your question is yes. The interim and final divi for 2015 have been stated at 14.8p and 14.2p. The 14.8p interim divi has been confirmed and will be paid on Jan 6th. To qualify for the interim divi you need to be on the share register by 26th Nov. The 14.2 divi is stated, but not confirmed, and is due to be paid early July 2016. Assuming both dividends are paid as stated that amounts to a 2015 divi of 29p. This represents a 6% divi if you bought today at 478p. But as you would only have to own these shares for 8 months to earn these divi's, it works out as an APR of over 8%. So looks like a nice return if the share price does not drop below 478p, and an even better deal should the sp rise by July.
To recover...the worst is not yet arrived...
Can anyone tell me if I bought today would I qualify for the dividend and when will it be paid? Cheers
petered out fast as usual . wouldn't be surprised to see this finish down again today
to have settled now.
£1,064 million knocked off the m'cap in 8 straight red days.
An eighth red day - can find no traction at all. 14.8p ex div on the 26th too
Start, if nothing else! Should have been more patient with my entry point.... Oh well!
£1036 million wiped off the market cap. in 6 straight red trading days. I would suggest that this is now overdone, but that's just my opinion.
Bounced of support twice this afternoon and now clear of lows Think it depends on FTSE but guess back in the 5's shortly
Here. Market cap down by over a billion pounds since last Thursday . Looking at low 400s if this carries on . Dividend will knock off 15p in two weeks for starters
Looks to have bounced off 2nd level supprt at 473. Lets see how far!
on my top-up! :-( Yes, you'd expect this to turn sometime soon, but I wouldn't bank on it.
Dividend out in a couple of weeks and you're looking at £4.80.... Let me guess , this will go down again tomorrow ? Certainly no mass sell off today if the trades are to be believed.
@IChronicle 6 mins6 minutes ago The oil price slump continues to weigh heavily on the service providers, and Amec Foster Wheeler is no exception http://on.ft.com/1kMgwlw
could still close up, but looking like a 5th red day....has t turn at some point, right? ha
updated their target today to 660. Hopefully.....
Looking at the trades going through shorting is being used to fill orders imho. Till that has been done we aint budging All IMHO ...
puts the less into hopeless currently....down by 235p in 4 sessions, and still can't appear to summon a bounce of any kind. going ex-div for 14.8p too on the 26/11, I think
