Despite minimal market reaction, it is worth mentioning that the recent sales at 146p are likely purchases. AFRN appears unaffected by the chip shortage, suggesting that some believe the set top box is outdated technology. However, I am uncertain about this perspective.
And 3m share purchase at 15p.

A placing at a premium , I don't believe I have ever come across that before.

Totally undervalued. SP at least 30P
Yes I think so. Don't know why this one is down so much. I went through their all reports. But did not find any sold reason behind it. Yes-off course, sales down, last quarter in loss, £13 million loam. But looking at their overall asset. This cap should be at least over £20-£25 Million. which gives the share price at least 30p!!! Totally undervalued.
I did the same, today because I think we have reached the bottom and I wanted to get my average down.
Hopefully it is overdone , I just took a small punt and added 10000 shares , I just hope I'm not throwing good money after bad.
Looks interesting and oversold but very illiquid stock. May be there is something that we don't know that is driving the price down.

Oh dear. Not sure what results you were looking at.
...but not much market reaction, allthough i do note that the the 'sells' at 146p today are probably buys.
AFRN don't seem to have been troubled too much by the chip shortage so guessing that many people must think that the set top box is old tech..?
Not so sure myself ...

It has said it expects annual revenue to be substantially below forecasts, hence, plunged 45%.
I agree, the recent drop might be reversed on better than expected results but if revenues are slightly down (as flagged), more likely it will not and the drop will stick or continue down.
I'm out atm and I hope that i'm proved wrong. GLA
Final results next week on the 7th , not easy to find the info ! Sometimes it's a buying opportunity when shares drop before results but probably better to wait and see what they have to say next week .
Does anybody know why the share price is taking such a beating, have looked everywhere to find out why. Nothing from the company (not unusual) as they don't communicate. Looked on the company website, just in case I have missed something. If anybody can enlighten me, would be grateful.

Why are the bid and ask so far adrift from the actual price these shares are trading at?
Come up on my radar.

Definitely a buy mate but more of a LTH
Kinda hoping to get in a bit lower for margin of safety reasons
Long term investment could grow at rapid rates
The CEO wants the company to be a French netflix some level of ambition
Just hoping it doesn't try and grow too quickly by using excessive debt to acquire companies
Strong II base, pots of cash, no debt, valued at only 7x EBITDA, strong recurring revenues etc...
Looking at investing and only thing that really puts me off is low volume...but sentiment / price action seems pretty dull too....any insight from holders?

Good to see that AFRN are trying to address the problem of obsolete set top boxes. Must be a big positive from an operator point of view...
Fantastic under hand buying here
Takeover imminent??

Reluctantly decided to exit with a small loss after 4 years as a shareholder. Kept telling myself it was going to come good.
But poor growth in i24 /failed US acquisition/ and finally an unnecessary name change made me decide that there must be better companies to invest in.
And do you know what - I feel so much better not seeing the name Aferian any longer on my portfolio!

ScweeAferian PLC - Cambridge, England-based media technology company - Acquires the remaining 8% minority interest in 24i Unit Media BV and its subsidiaries. The amount due to the founders of 24i is EUR3.3 million, which is the same price paid per share as for the 92% shareholding acquired in July 2019. It is anticipated that the company will pay cash of EUR1.0 million, with the remaining EUR2.3 million to be settled through the issue of shares.Separately, the company reports double digit growth in both revenue and annual recurring revenue for the six months to May 31, up 19% to USD45.3 million and up 37% to USD13.8 million, respectively. Pretax profit tripled to USD1.5 million from USD500,000 year-on-year. Aferian declares dividend of 1.0 pence a share.Current stock price: 151.00pYear-to-date change: up 26%This report is not has pessimistic has your remarks??
Totally unnecessary change of name, unsurprisingly followed by an underwhelming set of numbers. Cash flow is especially poor.
