Is that a statement or a question?
So the many real followers of EE are going to be on the look out for the who supply's the charger.
Why are we excited about global exposure? Did you really ask that question?
We had a UK roadshow, and that, so far has led to no sales. EE will be the same, cannot believe you are getting so excited over something that probably none of you had heard of until now. We have van/lorry fleets, charging points being put in all over the UK and AFC cannot secure one home sale.
Yellow - given you’re online I wonder if you would like to comment on the responses to your ‘failing company’ post? Junior provides some good evidence to the contrary and I’d be interested in your counter to that.
Daz,
Its got very little to do woth what the blokes watching the races think as to who is powering the race cars.
These blokes are car owners who I am sure will be looking toward their next car purchase, and what it will be powered by.
The important watchers to AFC, are those who are looking to supplying the EV cars, so the AFC logo's displayed are aimed at those people.
Millions world wide will be watching these races, so the publicity will be massive.
It will be viewers that push and question why there are not more EV chargers out there, and seeing AFC have at least part of the answer.
We have often commented on why AFC are not getting the message out there, well that's exactly what these races do.
Just look whats been achieved over the years with f 1 ok they might be seen as not green but the technology and safety that has been passed on to the mainstream car developers over the years can't be forgotten.
Yellow so stupid he thought it was Tesco’s super unleaded...
Yellow you really are not as smart as you think; with your recent statements your are an embarrasement to yourself!
F1 teams have their own fuel providers - mercedes, guess who...Petronas (the name is in the team name, all over the car and driver), Ferarri (Shell), Redbull (Mobile 1), Renault (Castrol)...etc - just look at the cars! What a clown. You seem to know pretty much nothing relevant AFC or PHE, why are you here?
What a yellow tit

And answer junior while your at it...

yellow Ferraris cars and apparel are covered in shell logos. Cooooccckkk
Depends on the pub Daz, and the quality the average punter in said pub!
It's all about visibility. Watch the race, see a big poster saying , "Fuelled by Clean Energy by AFC" Look at the cars see the company logo. AFC needs to raise it's profile so it's seen as the "go to" company for clean energy. With a bit of luck the race series willhelp with this although that is not enough on its own. Advertising is the key IMO.
Does anyone really think a bunch of blokes watching motor racing care what the cars are fuelled with ? I can’t really imagine overhearing a conversation in the pub, ‘they’re making a funny noise’, ‘they’re electric’, ‘it’s 100% green, charged from green hydrogen from a company called AFC’
"There is plenty of info out there on global warming and wildlife conservation"
There is mate, but you have to remember it's about educating the great unwashed! The Boomer Bower followers of this world. Look at the effect David Attenborough has had with his recent programs... We can't continue to rely on him to raise awareness, for obvious reasons....
Musc, you must do what your personal conviction tells you to do but most shareholders expect AFC to make commercial progress. This is vital to the company and if AFC didn’t take the opportunity then another would have. The series wouldn’t have stopped.
As for the concept of racing and motorsport, many like to watch and participate, it’s one of the things people do to enrich their lives. I used to fly light aircraft which is hardly a green pastime, but humans can’t just work, pay tax and die. The best thing we can do to protect both the planet and long term sustainability for humans is control population. Worldometers numbers growing like a stopwatch and if we don’t control that then the planet will find a solution. Solving Climate change and Covid will seem like using sticking plaster application in comparison...
Remember that companies such as Netflix are looking to run parallel programs with, or next to E1 subject to how climate change can be tackled in the same locations, where the races are being held.
It will be such programs along with the racing fans that will be attracted to all those attached to the racing, with the climate change lobby, being especially focusing on the clean, none polluting power provider, AFC.
Surely what can only follow, is both bringing AFC to the attention of millions of people, and businesses.
RE: E1 SERIESFri 23:11
Red hornet ....... another fecking ******.
Cheek - no idea what you’re on about, as your post makes no sense.
My comment is that AFC has gained zero publicity from this announcement besides the initial press release. Feel free to prove otherwise.
So now we’re told we need the price of green hydrogen to fall, that’s the new excuse for lack of sales. Previously we’ve been told we’ve got the right products at the right time at the right price by Rennocks and AB told us customers will pay a premium, seems then they were both wrong, poor management who don’t understand the market.
Red hornet ....... another fecking ******.
Lots of less important partners have been mentioned in EE PR, yet AFC, never mentioned.
You’d think someone would ask the question of how these cars are going to be charged in such remote locations. If not, the company charging them, might want to explain to the press how it’s going to work, but silence!!
DW - They are at the bottom line of extreme e videos with all other partners......
That’s my point, besides this, what other PR and comms has anyone seen from AFC. They’re just relying on EE to promote it.
BTW - one minute you’re complaining about lack of PR and comms, then you’re telling me to get glasses. Make you’re f.... mind up
They are mentioned as a partner on Extreme e’s website?
Same reason there’s no mention or follow up of AFC with the extreme E series! Unless you specifically google AFC and EE you won’t see them mentioned anywhere, yet they’re one of the the most important parts of the series!
