This website is a great look at the new positioning of AFC Energy. Clear and concise products with committed delivery dates of tangible products. Before today you had to read this board to get a good understanding of what AFC actually did, now it’s clear to anyone.
Really pleased with what they have done. Will be interesting to see if anything else comes out before the 6th Dec, namely a De Nora warranty. Still, this is a huge growth market, perhaps one of the top growth markets of the next 10 years and AFC are ideally placed to offer a USP here. Once we start to get distributors and customers signed up this could absolutely fly.
A brilliant 2 weeks for holders, with little to be happy about over the last 3 years I think new investors don’t understand why some people are so overly ecstatic. Excited to see what next week holds!
Great wise words SB.
I've been quietly watching but not saying a great deal for a few years and have all but lost hope a few times and thought I'd just swallow my loss and make sure that I research better in future.
AFC always seemed like it should be good but I expect we've all been there before. Now let's hope a foundation has been laid and we can build on it. GLA.
@Klunk - bad luck. Nope, no news on that front, sorry.
SprogBarnes ...my PC is having a bad day ....does it mention roadshow dates /locations ?
ps: there's still a commercial sale to see us completely out of the woods but things are definitely starting to look up. With the decline in the SP I was 'forced' to average down and I now hold way more shares than I thought possible or sensible and and as stated a year or two ago, for good or bad I have Bond to thank for that, assuming we are commercial soon... I would also like to thanks all LTH for their continued passion / support through hard times. Special thanks goes out to BumbleB who has always remained professionally detached and immensely knowledgeable, a real beacon of light through the darkest days. Let's hope that are behind us once and for all! GLALTH!!
Nice one sprog
From the website, this link, entitled 'Roadshow Brochure' is interesting - http://afcenergyprod.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Roadshow-brochure-131119-3-JT1.pdf
Hope we can stay above the 16.487p resistance then we can get upto 20p next week
When did you buy in ColinH?
Only another 325% increase to go and I break even. Then I'm gone.
If the share price keeps rising, I'm looking forward to the AFC shareholders group disbanding party! £1 per share should do it....
An excellent, detailed website. Products really well explained and I just love the oneliner
“Other bespoke sizing options are also available on request”
My 'only' criticism of the new web site is the news, it states latest news, it starts in January 2019 then progresses down to May 2019 news news, would be best if the latest news release was at the top.
Looks good, but Where's the information specifically about Southern?
Whilst agreeing that a RNS re a new web site is not as exciting as a contract RNS, web sites are often dismissed as being just a front to a company, but in today's IT instant world, a companies web site is the first port of call for many people, from future investors to potential customers (just put any company into Google to prove a point).
A web site is today's shop window, but not just to those walking past but to those zillions looking into that window via all media channels, so well done AFC (after much prodding), better late than never.
Well done AFC - looks professional and very clear.
Quite a lot of new detail about the (extensive) product range.
HydroX-Cell (L)
(L20) Will be 20KW in a 10' shipping container available December 2019
(L160) Will be 160KW in a 40' shipping container available June 2020
(L400+) Will be 400KW in a 40' shipping container available June 2021 - revised stack arrangement under development
This has been extensively tested on H2 from cracked ammonia with negligible performance degradation versus 99.9% H2
Auxilary equipment -
Ammonia crackers, water electrolyzers, invertors, battery storage, battery management systems, fuel storage are available through AFC from third party suppliers for integration into final product solutions.
So sounds like they will help build systems around the fuel cell, ammonia cracking already/soon, and perhaps even the potential to build an energy balancing system using the fuel cell if asked.
HydroX-Cell (S)
Prime focus of development activities at the moment.
Expected to be
10 KW stack for integration into third party applications as a primary or auxilary power source.
Mega Box configuration, 2MW power density in a 40' container for stationary and off grid power demands.
AlkaMem
Has been independently monitored a successfully appraised by industry leaders against key operational metrics. The market introduction will increase customers choice and we expect to be competitive on price and performance.
AFC is inviting interest from industrial partners and OEMs wishing to licence the AlkaMem with a view to development of new commercial applications.
So sounds like this is ready for action to start!
Also a brochure for the new EV charger.
All fantastic and a brilliant shop window - well done AFC
Just had a closer look.
For the first time I can see the potential for this to be a billion pound business one day.
Range of products is impressive, we cover all aspects of green power. Multitude of uses for the range will attract global players and customers, the market is huge. IMO this is a longterm buy and hold. Will not be selling mine on the cheap. GLA.
Very impressed. Looks professional and updated throughout on first glance.
I see on twitter that they say the new website is in preparation for the commercial launch next month - I must have missed that being put down in words before or is that actually a new statement ?
I think that there is a market for HydroX-cell(s) for homes, and decarbonising heating for some areas at least. We're on oil in our village, I'd happily switch to an electric boiler, with an ammonia tank feeding a fuel cell, and the heat from the FC being reused. Oil prices fluctuate massively, ammonia i'd expect to be more constant. We've all got oil boilers and great big fuel tanks so we've got the space...
Polished, elegant and professional.....a great improvement and a worthy shop window.
Well done AFC
Good to see the launch of the website has been posted on twitter and linkedin
and the new site is now visible via my browser, so open to the world. Now to see what sort of feedback comes from that
The new HydroX-Cell(S)TM design, currently under development, will offer opportunities to directly power mobile construction equipment with fuel cells, combining the efficiency of electric drive with a compact industry leading fuel cell also of high efficiency.
