Great research haggis, been on here when only you were posting and no one else thanks for all your imput better than all the moaners and no alls who really no nothing.cheers
Folderboy,
You need to DYOR on EV's boy, a lot of DYOR. I've already done mine over the past 20 years since buying my first EV, a Peugeot Scoot'Elec in the year 2000, that constant research has been used to lobby government persistently to put in more EV charging points, so I do know precisely how clean EV's are. I suggest you look up the German well to wheel study that shows that even if an EV was using the dirtiest coal power, it would still produce far less emissions over it's life than a combustion car, this was confirmed by another independent study completed last year.
You also need to watch this fact based video, not the garbage produced by those paid by oil barons to hold up the EV transition.

Haggis etc. Oh dear . . . . (1) the pollution generated by changing your car - whatever you change it to - far exceeds the pollution generated by keeping the old one - whatever fuel it runs on. (2) You seriously think EVs are cleaner/environmentally better than vehicles running on Hydrogen? Good rant though.
I trust Haggis doesn’t eat meat if he’s that concerned about the planet, going vegan is far better for the planet than changing your car, in fact if he’s that concerned for the planet he shouldn’t even have a car !
I don't know if you're smashed on Bells tonight or you're always like this, but either way you're my new favourite poster. Looking forward to seeing what you say next.
Seg,
Glad we agree on something, re Glasgow. Oh, I don’t live there! Again, ignorant assumptions. From there, doesn’t mean the same as live there.
You are fooled again. Not the sharpest tool in the box I’d say? Perhaps just a tool without a box.
Keep ranting little, inferior person. You will be working until you can serve no more. Keep on dreaming
Night night lol
You probably contribute more greenhouse gases than any modern ICE Car with your constant posting:)
I will probably get filtered now lol .
What a strange person you are.
I think Jg has been on the Whisky tonight for sure. What a charming fellow he is.
And I stand by what I said about those that can afford to change to an EV but don't, which is a significant percentage of people.
If that includes you, then clearly your ride is far more important to you than the condition of the planet, and more importantly the state you leave the planet in for all of the next generations, including generations of your family, your friends families, etc.
When you drive down the road chucking out CO2, NOx and Particulates, you don't even think about the next generations getting respiratory illness from the NOx, or mental issues from the Particulates, or them living in worsening weather conditions caused by the CO2, or all the other creatures that you are making extinct with your pollution, you don't give a toss so long as you can drive what you want to drive instead of what you should be driving.
All I hear is BS excuses from most people as to why they have not changed to an EV. And even bigger BS from those that say they will only buy an EV when they have no other choice, and will run their polluting combustion s h I t e until it runs into the ground, by which time the pollution rate will be many multiples of what it produced when new.
If you fit the above then you deserve every bit of pollution related illness you get in later life, because you are one of those producing that pollution that everyone else has to breathe in and risk getting those illnesses caused by you. What goes around comes around.
This is logic, suck it up buttercup.
Well, I've certainly been put in my place, haven't I? Lunatic.
Jg haggis is one of the most aggressive and rude posters on here. Your only cheesed off because of the Scottish element. He’s probably not the best corner to fight in....
PRWEB
Read the posts before you jump on the ignorance band waggon.
Or do you just follow like a little sheep?
I’m not bothered about losers like you with your £50 investment waiting for a £1.00 so you can double your investment.
Late to the party and late too slow to understand what’s going on. Haha maybe keep your nose out when the big boys are playing
I don't remember you getting your tits in a twist when haggis said, essentially, that those who don't drive electric vehicles will deserve their dementia later on in life... but here you are crying because somebody mentioned your precious Scotland. Selective outrage... give it a rest.
jgbb123,
Filter and forget them, they are then welcome to a one way conversation if they like wasting their time.
My life story!
God the small men are out in force today
Who’s Donald?
A fair bit of this going on from you and Oggs today.
Selective name calling under the guise of banter. Coming from Glasgow I hear that on a daily basis when religious bigotry is thrown around by uneducated narrow minded, chip on the shoulder low life’s that spout it
Only banter!
People come on here to discuss our investments and many of us have a lot of money at stake so perhaps you should take your Nationalist bigoted “banter” down the local boozer and leave this board to serious investors.
Time and place for your kind of pathetic nonsense and it’s not here!
Don’t try to pass off your racism as me being insensitive.
What little pet names do you have for Muslims? I’d love to hear if you think they are over sensitive?
You know exactly what you said is name calling and abusive, it doesn’t bother me in the slightest, it’s you that bothers me with your sarcastic attitude.
I suggest you stop what your doing
If, jgbb23, you think calling someone 'our Scottish friend' or 'Scotty McJock' is offensive then you may have set a new benchmark in over sensitivity.
As I have said many time the poster under discussion posts a lot of useful information (the eMine from ABB item above being a very good example) and I appreciate it but at the slightest challenge the toys go out of the pram even when he is demonstrably wrong. Are we still being 'held' at £500m mcap at all?
It isn't massive news when a car manufacturer says they are going all electric when pretty much every car manufacturer is saying the same and I'll continue to call such stuff out.
I'll also post when I think I have useful information which is far more likely, because of my many years of very relevant experience, to concern market operations than the technical aspects of fuel cells because I think it is important for people to understand that. I see Mr McH (better?) has not responded to me pointing out that Peel Hunt will not be churning out reams of research for regulatory and commercial reasons.
And Mr McH - I don't ' dislike' you as I don't know you but there are aspects of your online persona which are not very likeable, such as suggesting people deserve to suffer and die if they don't switch to an EV now. Not an especially pleasant thought process.
P.S. Just to show how much of a fool oggs really is, I can advise that I am not even Scottish, my username is just one I thought up on the spot, it has no meaning, no connection to me whatsoever LOL!
Ogggs has a clear dislike for me for pointing out that some of his posts are baseless garbage (not all, like some on here), and that I filtered him because he won't back down even when proven wrong. Based on the replies above (and thanks for the support guys!) I take it he will say anything if he thinks it erodes my credibility on here, even if it erodes confidence in the stock I presume he holds, very weird.
I hope you’re just as quick to step in when Haggis causes offence, which has been quite often.
OGGS,
I am Scottish! I am not Nationalist, in fact I despise Sturgeon and the SNP, however, your snide remarks about Haggismchaggis1 are unacceptable.
If you disagree with his comments, that's fine, discuss, but I don't hear you calling anyone out over being English, German or heaven forbid Asian!
I have been watching you and have not (as yet) reported your offensive remarks but would ask you politely to desist in future from bringing your petty prejudice to this board, we are here to discuss, agree and disagree about AFC energy, not to make slurs about people.
Fair points Southernhay but our Scottish friend is in the habit of posting multiple updates about domestic EVs which seem to me to be of limited relevance to AFC given current apparent activity
Genset not gender * :-D
Hi Ogggs - I find your responses to Haggis a bit surprising. For me, EV has the potential to become a major arm of the business for AFC. EV sales are likely to far outstrip the ability for the charging infrastructure to keep apace. Fleet vans/taxis/buses will need access to many KW of power that could easily be supplied independently via off-grid technology such as AFC/ABB charging. Additionally, consumers will require confidence that they can charge anywhere in the UK/world such that range anxiety becomes a thing of the past and we can rely on EV charging as much as we do fuel forecourts currently (well not in recent days of course).
Also, whilst all new vehicles will need to be anything other than ICE by 2030, Rolls Royce are sending out a very strong message that prestige cars such as theirs will be EVs. This will be a signal to other car manufacturers and the technology they are developing will influence other EV designs from a technological perspective.
Of course, we have other potential revenue streams that AFC are exploring such as Data Centres, gender replacement but they’re other arms of AFCs suite of products. When I think about it in this context, the potential for AFC energy as we move forward is mind boggling !
Let’s hope we have continued news from AFC that realises this potential. GLA
