At least they're not appointing gravy train directors (yet) like other companies I follow do, while their BODs twiddle their thumbs
It'll move when some decent news comes out, till then we are at the mercy of technical traders and the like.
Waiting since last 3 years for some action in sp.. when ll it move? Fed up watching dis one
Callit: some might say it’s all hot air, and they wouldn’t be completely wrong ;-) “Wind power contributed 15% of UK electricity generation in 2017”. This is the first time in FIVE decades that UK coal fired stations were shut for over 72 hours. Japan had a massive earthquake. Uranium market could plunge further on natural events as it did before. Hot air can take people places, safely. Imho. DYOR. Good luck folks
Thanks for posting that Lotto. It all sounds rather encouraging.
“Sales of marine drive monitoring systems continued to expand during the year. The order for the 60th system was taken and commitments for 2018 indicate a continuing acceleration. Feedback from sales agents has confirmed a market opportunity for monitoring additional engine and drive parameters that will broaden the marine market for Gyrometric. A contract was signed during the year for the installation of a comprehensive monitoring system on a 7 Megawatt wind turbine nacelle at the ORE Catapult test facility in Blyth, Northumberland. The new system, the first for Gyrometric in wind turbines, incorporates world-leading technology for monitoring bearing run out. This technology has particular advantages in wind turbines because of its inherent effectiveness at low turning speeds. The trials will enable Gyrometric to build a comprehensive picture of turbine behaviour from its offices in Nottingham. The wind turbine monitoring market is the next major sales objective of the company. A development program has commenced with the objective of building the next generation of robust monitoring hardware which will have increased numbers of input channels and enhanced communications facilities at lower unit cost. Software development during the year was assisted by an increase in the programming establishment, with an emphasis placed on security of the system. Improvements were also made to the set-up functions to make installation easier, and work was carried out on the output graphics in order to enhance clarity and ease of use for end users. Gyrometric continues to enhance its intellectual property portfolio by preparing a number of patent applications to enhance the current rotating shaft monitoring capabilities, including a new method for high accuracy axial displacement monitoring. Post the period end, Gyrometric has raised funds from a new investor which will be used to accelerate the marketing and commercialisation of its software.“ From BRH results today
I think it’s too soon Callit. The turbine trial just concluded. They previously applied for patent renewal. That said, the ORE project head Lee was glowing in his remarks. Plus NB stated it’s realistic to expect firm contracts here. Will take a bit longer. Imho. DYOR. Good luck all
#BRH results on Tuesday. Too soon for Gyrometric update?
Aero is a Goldilocks stock..everything is just right, but it still seems to attract the bears :) GLA
hmm, better keeping off bb and let others with more knowledge keep us straight, cant be doing with those that just poke at others for being positive seen it all before on other sites all you get is embroiled in a slanging match. Gla ill still be here on the side lines wishing things along .
One can be happy by the fact that costs are down, assets and gross profit are up. The real test of this share will be how the market reacts to any additional (and large) projects.
Yawn..
Don't worry Jezza and bonesgt: The Bod have prevous and they have skin in the game - Allelulia! And they are not taking a salary! This share will really fly when news drops!! But don't forget btw DYOR, ATB, GLA, IMHO and LOL!
"Keep the faith" eh, Bones. Yes, but for how many years ,1,2 3 or 4??
It would appear that a lot of people have little or no patients any more always chasing that fast buck instead of waiting on the real deal ie multiple bags, and being in at the beginning imo. There will be lots of news to come, also imo i dont think they will want to raise anymore money unless really good investments come our way, so not for keeping the lights on .Keep the faith it will happen.
Post by Gilgamesh on twitter group “.....So talk of share consolidation here is a tad silly as its not like 9 out of 10 which are cut and shut jobs to raise cash. NB has stated bar acquisitions no cash needed for 12 months. If you look at 2017 profit at 88.6% gross and still losing big. So costs just to run AERO last year 2.55 million in a short few months that has been reduced to a year run rate at £550k via NB interview to cover at least 12 months. What this means is if rev is the same this year we are set to break even and anymore big contracts this year a profit "very significant pipeline" The day pre and post consol nothing changes bar big instis and HNW will look at this harder as it wont be a 6 billion share dog but a slick 300 mill share with a bod with £600 grand in and a huge pipeline at 88.6%. Note Aecom are in 150 countries have £15 bill revenue and will provide no end of contracts soon. We presented all our tech in their head office on 7th on 10th Aecom tweeting abt runway 3. Next national infrastructure project this goes 10 mill cap imo. TB NB take zero wages and have one aim to M bag this and make a packet. They are aligned with us and its going to be a very profitable fun journey.” DYOR. Good luck all
In all the other shares Ive been involved in a share consolidation hasnt done any favours....however, with Aero I feel differently....I think the consolidation has to happen...whether there'll be any short term negativity I'm not sure but long term I think it'll work out for the best
Ummmm, share consolidation , doesn't often benifit shareholders in the short term
Undoubtedly!
That will undoubtedly benefit the price, but we're still all over the place though.
There you go another 10mil bought by someone
others are putting in a isa a full fat one at that minus figure means an isa not to shabby.
Others seem less...
Somebody is confident
that ain’t pocket money!
