Comeon, just keep adding while you can at these prices. They are currently drilling with YPG in Chachahuen where they have targeted only 5% of the conventional resources. Vaca Muerta is a big bonus and I know discussion are on-going for a farmout. Their unconventional acregae in Vaca Muerta is on its own worth around 2billion dollars. This will get noticed at some point and next thing you know, we will be above 50p. I recently attended a gathering of Latin American and Caribbean energy executives and AEN and Madalena Energy come very highly recommended. Hope we do well.
production increased by 250 bpd since December, cant be bad but when will this move north. ???
The recent rally in oil price will increase our earnings since the oil produced in Columbia tracks the price of oil crude. Argentina is fixed at 68 dollars though, which is great considering the current environment.
http://investorintel.com/uranium-energy-intel/argentina-clears-path-for-debt-settlement-on-the-back-of-president-obamas-visit/ Another key area of discussion was energy investment: Many US oil majors are already investing heavily in Argentina’s giant Vaca Muerta shale play – the world’s third largest shale gas resource and its 4th largest shale oil resource. An extensive list of US companies already committed to the Vaca Muerta includes Chevron, Exxon Mobil and Dow Chemica.
and no pump and dump here. its all in the RNSs no dept increased production and company's looking to invest in Argentina after the changes in government. think this could go well in 2016. Group production for January 2016 was 3,487* bpd (December 2015 3,287 bpd).
The Company has approximately 250,000 net acres in the Vaca Muerta formation, which is the second largest shale oil deposit in the world and the only producing shale oil deposit outside of the USA, currently producing 45,000 boepd. Over 300 wells have already been drilled and fracked in the Vaca Muerta formation. I just keep reading this paragraph and wait for the next peace of news. GLA
true but more positivity towards O&G company s should have some affect here imha.
Aen not acfected by price of oil. Price is ser ar $67.5 in argentina.
think i will increase my exposure to this little gem, with poo finally moving off the lows, hopfully this company will move with the markets. GLA
another positive RNS. production increase and no debt . Also plenty in the news about the new President of Argentina and how he is more business minded, could be a good time to start to build a position in AEN.
had to get some more at this price . poo on the move and this was 23p ish only 4 months ago. gla
had to dip my toe in, just £500 as i cant believe after all the positive news the SP is so low. gla
Cleared and all interest paid
It's always the same with Andes. I've been trading on and off this share for years now. It's very illiquid and prices is very depressed. Suddenly it gets notice, and prices spikes up and then goes down and start all over again. Great share imho though
we will get noticed by the many. Crazy how this has not moved up after the confirmation of guaranteed sell price per barrel! And so few posting here at present. This share is only one of two oilers I hold that is blue in my portfolio still! The rest are looking very sad today. GLA
Todays Investors Chronicle "The group is more or less guaranteed to be able to sell its oil for $67.50 domestically thanks to newly installed minister of energy Juan Jose Aranguren......The move comes shortly after the pro-business Mauricio Macri was elected president...... Cuts to import taxes and permissions should make the cost of drilling at Vaca Muerta mirror US shale wells Eagle Ford and Barnett in Texas too. Given the Government support, we're placing Andes on the watch list as one of the few oil companies that could re-rate this year"
Today.
Just that oil stocks Andy exactly flavour of the month
whats the catch here ? surely cant be overlooked by market ? seems good buy almost too good
Do the math.
Says it all.
Look at the RNS
Yesterday.
