100,000 share buy , could we see news soon ,interesting to see how this is moving in recent days , will be watching as much as possible to see if rns is released ,not sure if this share would be leaky , how ever its good to see buys like this and the other fairly large buys seen again
being sustainable for long, as the damage done to the tree stock will take years, and massive amounts of cash, to rejuvenate/ replace. ACHL have been very unlucky with weather incidents and, unfortunately, will not recover from that just because the weather turns favourable again. It will be almost like going back to square one again, but rewards will come, in time, for the very patient investor, providing the elements remain favourable along the way. This could all happen all over again.
good start to the day , looks like something may be brewing may see rns this week , hoping achl are going to use some of their money for share buy backs , in the past has been seen how this helps move the share price
share buyer back again for more shares ,,may see more of a tick up this afternoon ,early next week may be interesting to see if share price continues to move up ,
nice start after yesterdays rise as more people buy back into achl again , hoping for a good finish at close today
to today , will not surprise me to see another good move up tomorrow again , my hope is that if this share price may up towards 10p again there is some share buy backs or other good news , and that the share price may not drop down again
No ****, Sherlock.
buyers moving in again , may see a move up for a number of days again , hoping thqat this share price moves up to 10p again , hoping this time if share price moves up may not drop in share price again , and hoping news may be coming
may be buying for their new ISA ,hoping that they soon see a nice move up in the value of their shares
Your qns were answered. Perhaps the qns weren't very good. Btw "Purchases from the Group’s five largest suppliers accounted for approximately 37.5% of the Group’s total purchases for the year and purchases from the Group’s largest supplier amounted to approximately 11.8%." AR 2013/14.... Fact: largest supplier constitutes just 11.8% of costs. Difficult to see the winners in this obvious/definite/unquestionable/consensual fraud.
have bought in as others are selling , some people may see this low share price as an opportunity , when they research this share , each to do their own research and investing decisions
you have been posting much the same @50p, 40p, 30p, 25p, 20p, 18p, 15p, 12p, 10p, 8p, 6p ...the sp trend is about as bad as they come ...and Chinese comparators speak volumes ...despite Wig's confidence
some one loading up at this low share price ,
the sp showing signs of stress and further drift ...why buy before clear there is a turnaround?? Cash in China hardly inspires (cf the list of other Chinese stocks that trade way below net cash)
some one looks to want some more of these shares , even though some others may be selling and after last weeks buys could some one be building up shares in achl
.
as well as sells today ,some look to be loading up with shares at this current share price , some emails to achl on share buy backs would maybe help
.
I have been buying
so given your bullish PoV, when are you buying?
HAD HOPED TO SEE MORE SHARE BUY BACKS AGAIN BY ACHL, previous share buy backs , may had helped the share price move up in the past , hoping that we soon get a rns saying they are using some of their MONEY TO BUY BACK SOME MORE SHARES
Thanks for your thoughtful post. 2012 was a year of strong growth, 2013 showed decent levels of profitability - not that long ago. 2014 - obviously a disaster. From here, sales should have based. Looking forward, 2nd half 2015 into 2016 - 3 things happen 1) recovery from the two legacy plantations 2) hunan begins to produce 3) utilisation from the new juice assets should improve. Over a 3-5 year period the legacy assets should recover to previous productivity, the top line will be diversified across 3 plantations and a broader range of fruits, and the juice contribution should rise in the mix ie we get a bigger, more diversified business. Key point is - the growth should start to show into 2016. When does the market price this in? Hard to say - but the market has not reacted badly to what is at face value a terrible report today. Plus - this stock hasn't simply seen a derating over the last year, but potentially a capitulation, valued at half nca. Risks for me aren't so much the operating factors, or even the corporate governance fears, but the point that 90% of their cash is kept in Chinese banks, about which I know very little. But on balance, I think this is a well funded growth/recovery story from here, on a very low multiple of recovered earnings.
some one picking achl shares at this low share price
I accept your point about the typhoon, but am more concerned about the trend in the business (disregarding the share price trend for the moment, though the two are obviously partially interlinked). The canker is obviously relatively exceptional too, but I gather quite common in Asia. They also said initially that it wasn't a big deal. Then suddenly it was. There are other excuses too, such as the dying of oranges by regional competitors, and the supposed misreports from regional rivals. Also, if you read back through older statements, you can see a gradual decline. Every trading/results statement I read seemed to show a decline. When was the last increase in revenue/profit? This isn't a new business, so can't be judged solely on recent misfortunes. I don't think it's necessarily a sell at these levels, but don't it as a compelling investment. That may change if the management can demonstrate a year on year increase in profit/cash flow - given the extenuating circumstances affecting past profits, that should be achievable.
weighing on relief rally...still distressed sellers getting out?
