Just keep adding. It's. still growing spectacularly. AAF can't control African currencies get devalued. These events doesn't happen every quarter.
Good to climb aboard when SP is this low.
I wouldn't be surprised if it delists next having got as much investment from the UK as was ever likely.
Aaf share price has increased over the last couple of years because of spectacular growth across the board. unfortunately when you lose the spectacular in the real world, then on the stock market they will hang you. though i agree the business is on an excellent solid footing, it will take the stock market a little while to accept this....
Good set of results, nothing to mourn about. The matrics that matters the most is growth customer base and mobile money growth. Whilst the derivative loss is material it is short term in nature and i don't expect that to perpetuate.
Dec 2021 – "It is the aim of Airtel Africa to explore the potential listing of the mobile money business within four years."

As I said recently this has been much overhyped and we are seeing the reality/difficulties. Just to have to hope for some sort of change in fortune I suppose.
What's not to like?
Currency fluctuations
Solid growth on virtually all metrics during difficult times.
What's not to like?
A healthy and growing business
This is so lowly rated for an expanding and profitable company.......
Hodl
Still looks a good investment to me - fundamentals and potential fine! Hold on.
Lost 3.5p a share.....could have been a lot worse, interesting to see where it settles..may jump back in a week or two
Will soon tell us
The days of spectacular look over....110 maybe today
Seems like there is often a spike in the 2 - 3 weeks after results are published, there has been a slight recovery over the last week or two already. It's sitting bang on my average right now, I bought in the belief that 150-160 is more like fair value.
I holding until the results and then guage the direction of travel. 121 was my entry price

Looks like 120 is the limit. I'm skeptical about any re-rating back above that. Not selling at a loss though.
but now above my 117, just, and good results will drive it higher..here's hoping! markets really are fickle, and while turnover and growth are not an issue, costs most certainly will be....could still have a nice climb before results anyway....
Been a bit slow here , hope goes higher for ya....cashed out here , kept tiny profit in shares...atb
Share price rising. Should be on the march again
Why would you sell when the share price is down? That makes no sense.
Financials are good, strong management team, growing market. Stop looking at the share price chart and think long term.
I am a shareholder here but I feel that this is being overhyped by many pundits. Just like Vodaphone I'm now looking for a good exit point but dont expect there'll be one.
Does someone know something we don't.....
