Yea to be expected that most companies are to cut back their expenditure for a while. Not sure if the rto will be delayed but im kind of expecting it. Well know more soon enough.
Expecting further news this week. The 'Long Stop' on the RTO expires at the end of this month, so I expect news there. Also, Comarco's results are due before the end of March if they wish to comply with the Main Market listing rules.
A trading update for the first half of the trading year would also be very informative as I believe the revenues for both the Port and the Logistics operations should be a lot higher than the corresponding period in the previous year.
The project appears to be progressing well and I am guessing that Comarco will have as much work as they can handle with being the leading marine and specialised contractor, with over forty years experience in the region, owning and operating its own private port, fleet of tugs, barges, supply vessels and specialised equipment for offshore, on shore, and beaching operations.

MMs are making mugs out of sellers now generally and especially here with a 25% spread and only 4p to sell. Id suggest that this is a perfect time to buy very cheaply here. Shares are mainly held by long term conviction holders, including myself and bigMJ (holds almost one third of the company), who wont be selling anytime soon.
Nothing we can do about the macro situation but it wont be forever and those not in now will be scrambling to get in at much higher prices. Silly time to sell imo.
March 31st, if all goes well, should just be the start of the newsflow and big things for AAAP, Comarco and the new company Agulhas.

Good luck all holders for the news we are due end of March. I’ve not sold any of mine so possibly like many other LTH’s and newbies was much relieved both by the last rns comments from DL and by Bigmj post 26/2. Thanks again to all those regular posters who keep updating the rest of us with their research, links and optimism. The back story for anyone who hasn’t researched this does seem to my amateur mind to be compelling and I’d recommend anyone contemplating dipping a toe in to read through the the last 2 years rns history and decide. Good luck all
Positive and clear, roll on the end of March!
All looks good to me. We knew the RTO was going to be delayed anyway and now we have a date for an agreement to be reached...31st March. Only a month away so hopefully all goes well and we'll finally get the RTO but with new investors contributing, which will mean a lesser share for us I guess but less dilution so it should even out.
Meanwhile....
"Group turnover for the year improved by 4.3% in Pound Sterling (8.2% in local currency). Group operating losses reduced from £558,417 in 2018 to £271,339 for the current year. This has been achieved despite a very difficult economy in South Africa.
The primary contributors to the group loss for 2019 were the transaction fees associated with the Comarco Group transaction, which amounted to £224,798 for the year, this is an investment for the future of AAA."
Another improvement and almost a profit without the Comarco transaction expenses.
Very happy with that and look forward to hearing more news on or soon after 31st March.

Would love to add significantly here but need other shares to be kind. Unfortunately everything is tanking at the moment because of panic about some bit of a virus thing thats going round : /
Good opportunity for those who have the funds imo.
Buy when theres blood in the streets..even when the blood is your own.
If I was allowed to by more shares I certainly would
Thanks for the update Mike. Its good to hear from you and encouraging for those of us who have been here a while to keep the faith.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the update.
AAAP results have to be released before the end of March, so hopefully we will receive a much needed update at the same time, if not before.
Hi Blood
I am in constant dialogue with all parties and whilst I cant go into details all I would say is you have nothing to fear here, this is going to be a great investment, not all delays are bad !!!
Kind Regards
MJ
Hopefully theres nothing to worry about and im continuing with my patient hold here but I have to admit its wearing a bit thin.
Some seem to have already drifted off in search of their fortune elsewhere. Dont hear from carrefour anymore. Maybe hes another casualty of impatience.
Not necessarily a bad thing if weak hands are out and sticky fingers are in but I hope this RTO will happen soon. Macro situation wont be helping in trying to get big investors in, so there is a reason to worry in that regard.
Hate to be the pest but bigMJ has been very good in the past to give us his opinion on how things are progressing. Would be great to hear from him again.

Improvement on it's work with Damian Hirst and the fake treasure documentary.

Mozambique LNG project is massive and few people understand how big - great news for

and AAAP - Reasearch on the LNG can be found

Comarco Kestrel has mobilised from the Comarco Port facility in Mombasa Kenya to Mozambique, having been chartered by an IOGP Major, to relocate infrastructure assets from Port Pemba and Mocimboa da Praia further North.
MDP is a port in northern Mozambique, lying on the Indian Ocean coast, located in Cabo Delgado Province, and is the forward operating base for the long awaited Rovuma Basin LNG construction and exploration projects.
Comarco Kestrel is a Landing Craft Unit with RORO capabilities, specialising in beaching manoeuvres on remote coastline and operating in shallow waters with tidal implications.
Comarco marine crew have vast experience and knowledge of the East African coastline and greater Indian Ocean, with a record of providing regional Marine Logistics spanning over 45 years.
Certainly interesting to hear update of Comarco's performance in view of what they value themselves at.
We can only wait..but if somethings going to happen, i hope its going to be soon. I remember big Mike saying rto will likely happen end of 2019..i think he said in october november? He also said that things happen more slowly in Africa and I get that but lets hope it doesnt take too much longer now that were into feb 2020.
Small rise. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

Extract:
"Andrew is also spending a day with the CEO of Comarco Port, Simon Philips, talking to a group of strategic investors who are also down at the Mining Indaba. Port facilities are vital for the mining industry as their end markets are all off-shore the African continent. As an aside, it is a genuine weakness for Africa that it has wonderful natural resources but so little capability further down the value chain. To put this into perspective, an Apple Iphone costs about $1,000. The cost of the phone to manufacture is about $200 and the labour cost of the cobalt in the phone is a mere 30 cents! Africa desperately needs to have its own processing and manufacturing but again this needs foreign investment which needs stable politics. But going back to the Comarco Port, it is a vital entry and exit point to East Africa and Andrew reports that good progress is being made following up on his trip to Mombasa a fortnight ago."
Well, AAAP's results for the year are due this month, so I would expect to hear how Comarco have performed as well, plus an update on when the RTO is likely to happen.
Definitely one for the patient!

Well worth looking at the report. 29 pages long and also has information on the potential for Agulhas Group.
The RTO gets ever closer...
Excellent news indeed. Can't see there being any problems completing the RTO now.
