Someone on Advf...is trying to suggest this is some sort of trap the MM's are setting to lure us to our doom! Scary!
howzap, the whole thing was iffy from the get go, just google KPZ, kalengwa and moxico , there's no shortage of zambian press . As for the electric and haulage excuse ,the previous miners seemed to manage ok for 12 yrs . I hope colin is possibly holding out to buy all of eureka from kpz , who have some considerable debts, but if eureka has gone the way of kalengwa then it's a good job we've got Manica to fall back on .
Joeman, it's a continuing source of frustration for me that to get any good pictures of manica, which is a flagship project, that we have to look on a canadian royalty company website or some obscure gold company in dubai . I'm sure it was mentioned at the last agm , possibly andymillsy , and we were told it would be updated . Possibly colin is waiting till we reach commercial capacity so as not to jinx it, but i hope when we get to that point that it's being shouted from the rooftops . I'm a bit of a luddite regards the internet but am reliably informed that a 12yr old could sort it in an hour .
Is my statement that cryptic ZM?? - That Bird was aware of who was selling and when it would likely end....
This thread's getting confusing ;)
what are you inferring from that?
Observation. Is it a coincidence, and I might be tempting fate here, that the 'continual' ~200/250k seller we've seen over that last few months left the building around the time Bird bought in?
Ever thought that this being kept under the radar for a reason. Until AA make decision eitherway no news is good news.
Absolutely Gordie....
What's funny is Manica header has been updated to show the new plant, but the photo gallery still shows the plant in bits just delivered to site. Real opportunity missed to promote this story and highlight the improving cash position of XTR.
Kalengwa is still listed as a major project and no update on Eureka or any of the other bigger projects... And Bushranger being pointed to April 2020 project presentation isnt good enough considering that all the work has gone in since then.
If they are going to operate a number of smaller scale existing mines then these could do with their own subfolder, updated on an annual basis as a minimum.
The cost of contracting a company to do this, to keep the page up to date will be relatively inexpensive.
And then finding out there's a mining journalist and media expert on the board of directors !?
Imagine being a new investor having a look at xtr, then arriving at the company website and trying to work your way through the projects to find out that the listings are so out of date it's ridiculous , then just deciding to give it a miss 'cos it's easier . :(
News waiting on…..
Updated conceptual mining study with economic evaluation.
Potential, and or hopeful news……
A firm JV agreement announced for small scale Chongwe mining project where there were positive findings from earlier trial mining with surplus cash flow over cost. Earlier work was more exploratory than a deal, to see if potential existed and any benefits could be shared with the project owners.
(Courtesy Andmillsy email response from company)
At the newly acquired Kakuyu mine JV, ‘results,’ of geochemical surveys and mapping across the license conducted by exploration teams that are currently if still on site. Also any follow up news of drill testing program of any targets identified expected early in ‘23.
Confirmation that mining has commenced at Kakuyu
Further JV’s for small scale mining opportunities in accordance with the companies ongoing strategy.
Eureka- any further developments on the project or wether or not the relationship with JV partner KPZ has soured after Kalengwa being binned.
Back in late ‘20 there was a reported dispute of legal ownership of the kalengwa license but was debunked by the company. Following this though, there has only been the follow up of results of earlier reconnaissance drilling 29/03/21. But then saw no further developments ‘reported’ on ground after that.
Coincidence?
Sounds a bit iffy and quite honestly IMO more plausible than to go through a period beforehand of their due diligence process to decide to exercise their option to enter into the agreement for kalengwa in the first place. You would think haulage costings and power to site capabilities would be paramount importance. (Ultimately the reason CB commented on as reasons for withdrawing.)

Any thoughts or comments?
thats ok then, i saw some chocolate bunnies in the shop earlier and thought i was in danger of missing something , ;)
Dots Luck is really interesting, being central and in proximity to a major fault line and 3 major shear zones.
Another older report that contains a slide for the cross=section and some drill results for guyfawkes ,and dots luck .Again i had not seen these before and confirm my optimism for the project. .https://www.breakawaydigger.com/Article%20Digger%20April%202014/April%20Article%2014%202014.pdf
gnocci , lol, yes i know what it is , what i asked was when it is ? ;)
Hey Pinocchio I can see retrospectively, that you were actually being positive all along. I too maybe, wrongly felt you were being negative before. We are all with you in hoping the share price will see some recovery by Easter. Certainly with the economic assessment of BR before then along with anticipated increased revenue from Africa.
It’s posts like this one you made in Dec that plants a seed of doubt.
>>> 'Ive run the Fairbride figures through my super spreadsheet and I've calculate income will be £3.86p a month at $2000 POG.
Although was no doubt with a previous poster in mind that sold up and trashed the company, sarcasm rarely comes across on a BB.
So an overdue ‘welcome’ to the xtract board .
pin-nose, when's easter ?
If only a bulletin board was a get together in a pub. certain posters would not return for the second get together.
Pinnoc
The context of your original post a month ago was that something bad was going to happen but now you seem to think the opposite and there is no downside.
My point is that you have changed your view not that your current view us now is wrong.
You've obviously just bought in.
>>> I will match of course ( and can be verified)
That’s ok Pinocchio we believe you, there’s no need to bother your mum. Grow up!
