Cyber,
It was a late reported trade from the 12th.
Tony
I think you've answered your own question there. Why would AA buy us early when sp still dropping?
what happened to the 2million share trade talked about here last night?
yesterday's volume shows as just over 2m total
today's just over 1m shares!
both extremely quiet days
@Joeman1
Totally agree with your view, could i also add that CB may already be in initial discussions with AA and / or others (subject to AA buy-back obviously) with the latest data in order to establish "initial" interest...
After all coming back to the AIM with a fuller explanation assays, 3D models and initial market interest would send this SP flying...
Compare that to the drip feeding of data which after H1 was less that perfect...
IMO ATB Shorn
Agreed!
CB has done this in the past in my opinion, with being quick with good news and then slow with bad news.
But with the positioning across his many companies at the moment, the negative impact of deliberately holding back news that would suggest Bushranger was anything less than the great opportunity we have been led to believe, would be damaging for all of them...... just at the time when he needs them all in the shop window shining bright.
My feeling is as many have said.... this is a change in tack, based upon the realisation bringing the assay results in together with the Geosurvey results and providing analysis will be far more beneficial than drip feeding.
He doesn't have to give us every assay result as they arrive on his desk, as long as that info isn't being used by anyone else in the market..... but having given us the impression that he was going to, I think it would be good manners to tell us the new plan......
Some CEOs definitely would :)
But I seriously doubt that CB is one of them.
Andrew4444- that’s exactly my feeling- no CEO gona buy/ say what CB has in interviews etc if the news was nt exceptional- it would kill his reputation
Gixxer
I take your point re CB's wealth but why would he want to "throw away" £120K? That's what he would be doing if the assay results are poor. I can't see how anyone would believe anything else he ever says again if they are poor or that somehow assay results for phase 2 will be significantly better than phase 1. Its the same area.
The sp would crash and go back below 3p imho as the bushranger project would be over.
In addition, CB has never bought that much before here so why do it now? I think he has a good idea of what we have.
I suppose my view boils down to my belief that CB is not a complete idiot who would say what he has said in interviews and done what he has done, only for it to be all a big con and therefore he would have overseen and instigated the destruction of the sp and his reputation.
We should know in 2 weeks if I'm being astute holding that view or very naïve :)
Market makers are never wrong. CB purchase of shares says it all. Last week I said we will be in to the 4p zone soon. I’m not going to be wrong. Markets rising like mad today, copper although down 0.15% yet the stock still drops despite the further needs of copper going forward. SP is always held under futures. The only way this stock is going up is for AA to jump in. They were sighted when SP was 9p. Now we are sitting close to 4p I’m just wondering why AA doesn’t do anything. Or am I missing something.
Good pint LH - Would eb certainly easier to buy that many than sell
Thanks for your insight Ella10.
A4444 - Personally I don't hold much value in CB buying shares, especially only 2e6 - He's an extremely wealthy man and the 100k or so he bought in shares recently is, literally, peanuts to him. A 5/10e6 share purchase would have sent a real message to the market IMO
I'm in agreement on the second paragraph especially having gone through the old RNS's (below) quite bullish indeed (even H2) however, CB does like to take a chance.....
- "We are encouraged by the results of the first two holes which have exceeded our expectations with regard to the extent of the mineralised envelope at the Racecourse deposit.
- The copper-bearing interval in this hole [3] was considerably longer than anticipated, suggesting the possibility that the deposit may be significantly larger than first thought.
- We are pleased to report that Hole BRDD-21-005 has, as anticipated, encountered visually similar mineralisation to that seen in hole BRDD-21-003.
Drill hole BRDD-21-006 was drilled to the north from the same pad as the previous hole, BRDD-21-005, but angled to drill obliquely through the mineral zone, aiming to provide an intercept across the deposit at greater depth down-plunge. The hole has been completed at a final depth of 990.15m, having passed through the full porphyry deposit sequence, with the central potassic alteration zone intersected from approximately 570m to 880m downhole. Chalcopyrite-pyrite-pyrrhotite mineralisation was encountered throughout the potassic zone, similar to that reported for previous Phase One holes through the deposit.
So all reads pretty positive really, even H2 so maybe the grades are not too shabby there.
Logging and core sampling work is continuing and laboratory assay results for the second hole of the programme (BRDD-21-002) are expected shortly, with results for the remaining completed holes to follow in batches. The Company will report on the assay results as they are received and collated.
The crux here, for me, is the term 'collated' - I assume this is the geo's using the data to build up their own model. They could have actually had access to assay data for months now without needing to release the info. Any issues from the AIM Gods and they are covered by stating it had yet to be collated. Could Bird have released this info to the latest investors, or at least given a hint in order to carry out the recent raise?
The way I see it - we should have the complete picture of P1 by end of June so not long to find out if it's boom or bust..
How do we even know for sure it’s a sell? Numerous times I’ve seen sells which were in fact people’s buys proven by screenshots? I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a TR-1 coming for a major holding from this
Gixxer
As you know ive been sceptical on a lot of CB’s forward guidance over the years so understand your view. However, CB has bought £120K of additional shares recently which does give me a lot of confidence that he isn’t just guessing that assay results will be fine. He's never done that before (with his own money)
In addition, if the assay results were poor, then it would be game over here. As assay results are fundamental to the project working there would be no spinning by CB to turn that around. Its one thing for CB to BS about minor events such as time scales and income levels, but assays are the 'engine in the car' so if he's wrong then his credibility and the sp would be in tatters esp after all his bullish comments in interviews over last 3 months.
Unless CB wants to trash his reputation and destroy the sp, the assay results will be at least decent.
Of course AIMHO
Hi Gixxer,
While typing my earlier post of 'evidence' I wonder about the geo discussion. The fact that it hasn't happened isn't positive but may not be negative either. The assays are required for the gold grades and having postulated on it being higher in gold than copper these would probably be wanted prior to any public discussion.
If the shares were some of the previous placing warrants being sold that would suggest we should see at least a temporary increase in SP to the above the latest warrant price. I'm watching GLR as if the shares were part of employee/consultant options then it may be these funds get invested there.
I do agree that there is a possibility that P1 is a bit of a let down. I am still holding XTR where I correctly sold GLR on similar doubts so I hope my instinct is right again.
Ha Ha...Thats So Funny Lets Be LUCKY :)
Just been browsing through the hypotheses questioning why assay's are so late; all are valid really and all we can do considering the lack of news is guess... I guess.
Had this been last year I would have expected nothing less from Bird considering his delivery record prior to then. His change of pace in terms of deliverables was, ofc, welcome - A new leaf seemed to have been turned - and I hope the company is indeed just collating all data to release in one go.
My personal opinion, clouded by what I know of Bird, is that H2 sucked in terms of grades and he's planning to bunch them in with, hopefully, better holes/grades. My biggest fear, again having a long history with Bird, is that P1 did not at all pan out as he's led us to believe (grades ~.3-.4%) and he's taken a punt diluting us to get more cash in the hope a P2 run of drills will deliver something close to the 2MT target.
I really hope this is not the case but I have very little trust in Bird after all these years; yes I am still in and not sold one of my 11.65e6 shares. With the potential, potential it would seem stupid to sell now so I remain in for the 'big bucks' should this pay off.
The above probably comes across -ve to many of you but I've been invested with Bird some time now and have learned to hold little value in what he says he will do.
P.S. what are readers opinions re: the '3-way' that does not appear to have materialised? - Do you think the geo's are not willing to go on record regarding what CB has stated to date or are they just waiting for a fuller picture?
GL all
Sort of.
Joke....
Bird bailing on his recent buys maybe.....
Or some of the warrants issued due to the 4th March RNS . As far as I can tell these warrants were from the Sept 2020 placing. Perhaps someone using gains from Sept placing to take part in the latest placing. From Gixxer's comment I assume it is someone with close relations to the broker. All speculation of course.
Could be whoever exercised the share options From 17th March RNS.
The only thing leaked out is you from the sewer.
Bit coin had a big hit today so possibly someone’s margin call
Maybe people's forgotten about stop losses are getting triggered?
