Probally dampened because we were all expection a capital raise to fund these contracts. The work will take several months to be up and running with incoming revenues. Furthermore, Africa is not without its insecurites. Profit margins is what it will take to shift this share upwards hopefully. I still think this will come good for us soon. WSG has been plagued with viruses in the past and now have it again which is also a big player. Turn of fortunes would be great for us.
I do see where you're coming from Docit, and I do agree in many of those points, however... it's not a case of "it wont happen by tomorrow"... it should have happened on the 15th or 16th, those 2 contracts should be financially securing for any small company, and yet the "boom" could be described as a bit of a damp squib
as for business model, one word..... BOAT
THat, I have no doubt would have been pasty petes preference, however, if even half those traders had considered that... today they would have been saying "thank Fk I didn't"
speculation over assured profit (albeit lower %) there's the crux of the matter, that and a complete lack of trust in company.
I too agree, on that news, we should have been over 8p probably 10p to be honest, but his abysmal track record has crippled any moves until 1 or probably 2 things happen, those contracts are ratified, which in half these politically corrupt shtholes can take a LONG time, and it might even take money coming in to convince the market to trust the news.
I didn't top up at 4p as my average is only a tad over 8 anyway, had it dropped as far as 3.5 before the news I might have, seeing how sluggish this is to move is not encouraging me to hold it past break even
Traditionally the good part for the WSG SP is now- the bad bit is the long hard work of implementing the contract and demonstrating profit. That’s presuming the contract is ratified, there is no resurgence of covid and Ebola in DRC, no contract dispute.
Crystal i get what your saying, however i have something to tell you bud. I would say 95% of penny shares on AIM are exactly the same. They all need capital, they all dilute to the hilt. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Most will fall by the wayside. Hope the business model at WSG will continue to increase profits and build on contract. Personally i think this company will build and become stable, but it won't happen tomorrow. My guess is that it needs a couple of years yet and we may very well see a different company. I would say more like partial pension fund material rather than get rich quick scheme
For sake of clarity…. There’s nothing wrong with trading. Like everything in life timing is key. But….. If traders had the sense to sit on their hands after those brilliant announcements they could have made the equivalent of ten plus 10% trades in one go without damaging the long term holder position. In addition the fund raise would have gotten away at a much higher price hence further underpinning the sp. Common sense isn’t that common!
Traders fault.... LMAO, pasty pete has created this situation of cynicl distrust by his handling of new releases, or should i say his downright stubbornness for not telling the truth, only has himself to blame if the traders get the upper hand, he is afterall too damn predictable, RNS announcing pacing at 530pm then one stating result of RNS at 7am ....... and yet no mention of this already done financing deal in the interview yesterday, yeah, i'm not sticking around for the mythical double-digit shareprice, i like many long term holders will be gone in a flash as soon as i break even, this is a traders share and a waste of time holding long term
OK, now that's out of the way, let's see the sp rise to reflect the two pieces of amazing news we've had this week, and the potential for more positive RNSs in the coming days. Clearly things are starting to move, with the momentum all in the right direction. The company has its funding, so now can concentrate on growth.
No real surprise.....we have been told of the needs for funds to support the latest 2 big contracts,
(And the rest, the cinics will say....:-))
While dilution is never a good news at least it's over and done now and above yesterday close, so not too shabby.....let's see the up and coming growth to re evaluate position here, until then I am holding tight.....
GLA whatever.
Yrabs…… you know very well how this should have worked…. Peter would have agreed a slightly discounted placing based on news he thought would have given an 8p plus share price. The normal Trade Brigade on here didn’t let that happen so he was stuck. I don’t trust PF as he’s made too many false implied promises but it is the fault of Traders this time and so proportional blame is theirs…. We pretty much know who you are by the way!!!!
Agreed yrabs. This placement price wasn’t agreed overnight. Was probably when we were up above 6p and now we are down in the 5’s it appears there is no dilution when in fact there probably was. Snake Fowler cannot be trusted
Looks like shorts will be closing very quickly.
Morning All............. so 330M shares now............ not sure why everybody [including Pete] pats themselves on the back for "the premium placing"............. now on wednesday the SP was anything between 6.7p and 5.2p ...... so when exactly did they agree on price............. and was that price always going to be a premium......... Pete saw an opportunity to fill up the tank and was probably only miffed that 2 MSCs gave him a 40% lift from the 4ps we have been stuck in.
Mr £2 party........ we would have a market cap of £660M to be there............ based upon what we have won, and including every other cusp, I doubt we would ever get there..........Pete would outrun us in placements anyway............
Interesting that those imminent cusps we just announced mid june as contracts would only get us 4p interest in cornerstone investors in December... 6 months on and the 40% uplift from a very low base gets an overwhelming response from Petes mates....... I look forward to the next contract and the follow on placement....... 1Bn shares by xmas anyone?
B
Don’t recall you mentioning it would be at a premium though?
The placing that I mentioned. Can’t trust a Fooler
