Well it has gone up to be fair.
People do annoy me, this rubbish about Germany's recession as a reason to sell; People do not/will NOT cut down on mobile/broadband to save money, that is the last thing People will cut back on when tightening purse strung. It's simply not the society we live in, phones & Internet access are not seen as luxurys but staples of life, especially by generation Z
Evening all.....So has this bottomed out? where does it go from here? smart money would say the only way is up.....Dan how's the heart? Mine is beating like a drum.....Have to hold your nerve with this.....Mikey must be in his element saying that even he must be disappointed with the last few days performance
the man porche is full of negative drivel on loads of boards.
Just see his drivel. Quite pathetic.
I find uk very good if you pick your times and stocks you can get results.
Applies even to VOD at times, although not right now
Well another great day for vodafone shareholders . Will be get too 10 % down in 3.5 days
No chance :)
My £1.13 is looking good for the end of week
Mesh - Porsche is a pathetic individual with the mind of a child & no-one takes any notice of his bitter posts.
He has lost a lot of money due only to his poor decisions & he tries to take it out on these boards, like I said pathetic & he shouldn't be in charge of a piggy bank. A man with few in any friends.
Am going Comcast. Finally I got the Sky Quadplay I was so hopeful about.
People actually pick up phone if you having problems!
Whatever works for you is fine. Sky works for me.
:)
@Porsche
Then you should sell and move on or short. Investing/trading is rather easy as long as you are consistent with your own thesis until invalidated.
Just to challenge you, how much would it cost you set up a new Vodafone?
The rot started when the dividend was cut, shares have been a disaster since and Read an utter imbecile, Germany has been a terrible purchase,, company is a debt ridden money pit, literally a 50/80p stock in a few years, brexit basket case U.K. uninvestable in general and this shyte in particular.
@Stille
Not sure what you are on about. I have had zero issues using vod app support service. Instant responses and they attend to my queries straight way.
This is what their focus has been on the standardisation of customer experience across the entire organisation. They are now leveraging A.I. to a greater extend as they are well on their digital transformation journey. This is just the beginning given the unravelling of the converging tech.
No surely not - we arnt in the red again - lets hope it bounces back like yesterday because if it keeps dropping below £1.20 we are in trouble .
Finally got rid of Vodafone contract.
No more silly phone calls to customer services in Egypt/South Africa/India whatever.
No more silly ****** false promises about unlocking codes….etc etc
May be a good business model but in the end we all escape
Hi C.S.D.I. I like your post about 3 diff' recs all on one day, & all from you? Make your mind up. Joking apart though, it is all a bit confusing. All the best mate.
Mikey. Looks like only one option then? But do you have the nerve, poison, or shoot him. I think he may wear a bullet proof vest? We are all behind you??!
Dan you need to put the bottle down - As i previously stated I dont resent “Vodafone” and i do not have a “hatred” of Nick Read . In my opinion he is not a suitable CEO - that is not the same as a hatred of him . Awaiting your daft response !!
They may do. US markets had a barnstormer after fed raised rates but said doubt US in a recession. Even the VOD ADR's tickled up.
sotonspike. Sorry about my jokey comments, but I agree the drop is surprising, It's a bit difficult on here though with some of the crazy posts from you know who. I will hold. Of course the sp may fall to £1 as it has before, but I am a long term vod holder, who doesn't hold a grudge against the vod. b.o.d. & I think the sp will rise in the long run.. I may even buy some more shares when I get my divi. All I ask on here is, If you want to be negative about vod on this forum please give reasons apart a hatred of Nick Read & an obvious resentment of you former employer.
Rob hindsight is a wonderful thing....I blame it not on Read but on the red wine.....sorry Dan/Mikey if i stirred things up... Up the vodders think things will improve tomorrow...
Soton, did you have that big wooden spoon in your hand when you posted earlier, i could see this would follow lol
“So Mikey. How many votes did Vinod Kumar to be the next C.E.O. get then?“
Talk about a daft comment . Do you know how this CEO thing works . Obviously not . Its not like the x factor Dan where you vote for your favourite person . Read is CEO and until he is removed or decides to leave why would Vinod get any “votes” - have you been having a crafty drink again Dan
Er respond with a daft comment - have you read yours back Dan :)
Sotonspike. Hello. Sorry if I am being a bit unfair on Mikey, but the idea that Mikey is clever enough to bring the vod price down with his voodoo dance so to buy in at a lower price, or perhaps short vod, is about as likely as him being re instated as the next C.E.O. with Elvis Presley being next on the B.O.D. Of course Mikey will respond with his usual daft comment.
Oh dear oh dear - i am talking the share price down am I Dan . As I have repeatedly said , vodafone was a great company to work for with some great people working for them . The one mentioned below is one of them . He had respect from his staff and people trusted him . I do not want the vodafone share price to collapse just because I say it is going down , the opposite , and if 4 people recommend my posts then that is up to them - I dont post on here telling people anybody agreeing with your posts are making it worse . If people recommend then fine thats what the button is there for . I worked under several CEO’s while at C&W and Vodafone and in my opinion - yes its an opinion Dan - Read is by far the worst , and thats saying a lot when you look at some that C&W had .
Please tell me when I have put the actual company down , I havnt , now Read is another matter .
So Mikey. How many votes did Vinod Kumar to be the next C.E.O. get then?
