....his excessive salary and emoluments, which is what these two companies are all about, what?
Lucan’s not a wheeler dealer, he’s a grasper at straws and the vendors of Poundland saw him coming from quite a distance. Still, in common with the CEO here, he’s managed to achieve some more months of hi

I'm a fan of your post not an idiot
ANGS dragged their shareholders through **** not releasing information on Brockhaam
Yes they did well getting into the gas which is where onshore energy will unfortunately be allowed to expand in this ever growing Woke country
Lucan is a wheeler dealer but not a clue when it comes to exploration and couldnt smell the gas from adecompsing nanny
SS love him or loathe him is a proper exploration Geologist
Hes a meglanamiac like the Fhurer but in war you make all the final calls
In exploration mother nature has the last shout

Sting you're more than welcome. To my mind, there's never any harm in a little light relief, no matter which side of the fence one sits on - so hats off to you for getting it.
Actually, if you're generally interested in AIM oilers, there's another (and in my view, even better) one that might relate to another AIM-listed small cap oil and (allegedly) gas company. Look for a thread called "Thought I'd share this" on the ANGS LSE board.

H.I.T.S., Not so old boy, they want the company to fail, if it fails in Turkey, they hope that (as many of them have said), they then hope the company goes bust...
...who do think you are kidding mr nimby,
if you think that UKOG's done,
We are the boy's who can see your little game,
We all now know that you are such a pain,
So who do you think your kidding mr nimby
We'll see when all the drillings done
Double it will five bag just to get back to 1p and we should be trading around 3p waiting for Turkish results.
Initial five well plan at more than $50 per barrel profit!!!
Do the math..... this is going to be huge from here.
Duh ... posters warning others of the risks of Investing ...I would expect most if not all know the risks....so thankyou and move on to another subject... how about could double your investment in the next few month's ..
Re the Turkey drill 'n' hope, I think we can safely say there aren't likely to be too many nimbys posting here.
Fair enough. Its a lot for me, but i understand the risk. If it doesnt produce oil, run up from spud will be much higher than this on its own. cheers
BadA: you’re not, if it’s not a big part of your overall investments. A bit of fun, I dare say and you never know. As long as you don’t hold out unreasonable expectations of a well that’s not likely to show commercial quantities of oil or get upset when the price falls below your entry price. . No, not rocket science. I’m not trying to stop people investing, just to understand the risks.
50-day moving average is at 0.218p (200-day at 0.169p).
Why would you be a mug punter to invest at these levels ? Not rocket science professor lol
Oofy, thanks for your reply but your only answered part of the question, also i think the disgruntled shareholders are a smaller proportion of the naysayers, leaving the larger part of the request unanswered......ie, the XR faction and the nimbys and you didn't answer the main point.....what do they hope to achieve from the present position
Ozzy: I think most of the naysayers are long term holders who are thoroughly disillusioned with, and justifiably sceptical of, the current management. I dare say some are venting, some warning potential new buyers of the big pitfalls in it. Many are doing both, I should think. There’s a tendency among private investors to be unwilling to take a big loss on their investments in very volatile shares and I dare say some invested many thousands of pounds in this and now have just a few hundred, or less. I think they’re fully entitled to express their honest opinions on it, based on their experience, don't you? Mug punters ignore such people’s warnings at their peril and it’s wrong to describe them as nimbies, trolls etc. Their voices are in any case mostly drowned out by people on the other side, some of whom appear to be company PR types desperate to get the price up. The quality of the investment research of the sceptics appears to me to be incomparably superior to that of the optimists, too.
So ,Oofy, if we accept that scenario, what do the naysayers and bears hope to achieve from the present position, not forgetting that their views seem to be excessivly negative...and how do YOU sort the aforementioned from the XR/ nimby brigade
DavidWK: if Turkey fails to gush, shareholders will be asked for lots more money to drill yet more Turkey wells - by which time any rally between spud and result will be unwound and the price will probably be a good deal lower than it is now. So what you're describing is a pump and dump. Buy it before drilling starts. Sell into any rally. People who are expressing sceptical opinions are not pump-and-dumpers. Otherwise they'd be doing what you’re doing. Where’s the point in trying to get the price down another 10% when a successful pump and dump will give them a multiple of this?
No, the naysayers believe what they’re saying. They think it’s extremely unlikely that the Turkey well will gush. It would be fairer to admit that this is the distinction between bulls and bears of UKOG. The bulls expect a successful well, in which case they’ll make a multiple of their recent purchase price. The bears accept this possibility but give it a very low probability. In which case the price will fall further as big placings are made and the placee shares find their way onto the market. The pump and dump brigade don’t care, they’re just looking for a nice profit as the mug punters whom they entice in drive their share price up. It’s not the naysayers who are doing this, is it?
More than probably true, David... but you entirely ignore the other side of that dissimulative coin.
What sort of posts do you think are made by day traders who've already bought in, especially if they've not picked a smart entry point and the SP's gone the wrong way on them?
And what sort of posts do you think companies themselves look to get made by third parties on bulletin boards, especially if they're looking to get a placing away?
Will go between 0.90p and 1.35p between spud day and result day.
The "derampers" don't talk to share down because they don't believe in it. They know it will bag several times from this level up. But they are day traders!! not week(s) nor month(s) holders but day traders and as day traders you only want to invest for a minimum of time in a share. Between 1 to 3 days at most. So they talk the share down to keep the SP as low as possible as long as possible before the anticipated news so that they can get a higher profits when the day come to trade the stocks. They don't want to see the SP gaining 20% or 30% before it is time to buy and they certainly don't want to hold the shares for a month before it is time to buy. This is mainly why there are "derampers" just to make more money when the day to buy comes. and not having to buy at the lowest price a month before the spudding day.
Both conservative estimates.
reckon this will move north 50% pre results etc. GLA
