Who knows?
Maybe SS's was in a time warp last time he made his comment about being in the Bahamas if the oil price was $40.
After that UKOG touched 11p can history repeat itself.
The rumour is, if you say his name 3 times, he will come back and haunt the board.
A 2.05 SP too.
I had a quick read through this thread, and Heid was there too have just topped up.
Think this was prior to the EWT when the SP rose quite sharply in anticipation up to around 2.60 level.
SS needs some new trousers ready to give us some good news at the AGM.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock
Who knows?
Perhaps lse is trying to tell us something about UKOG's future share performance.
Crocqman
Strange!
I was a little surprised by the post but it came up on the top of the list & I clicked reply.
The post refered to oil found at Bognor Regis & SS's 27 miles of oil North to South.
He is like a ghost!
wizard,
Unless the timestamp has gone funny, you seem to have replied to a thread from July 2018 !!
Memories are made of this.

Look what the cat has dragged in?
Argus,
I certainly have never said there's no oil.
I did follow the company line prior to the 2016 test which was very negative, expecting to have to swab to get a sample of Kimmeridge oil. They were wrong I was wrong.
Unfortunately pre May posts are no longer available for UKOG so you'll have to believe me but while all and sundry were following the DL ramp of opening the chokes and the twitter 1688bopd times 150 days meant loads of money coming in I was pointing out that the testing would probably involve reduced chokes and shut in periods. I even did a prediction that less than 20,000bbls of oil would be produced during the test, and that would depend on the KL4 not fizzing out.
Tables seem to have turned and the very same guys who were claiming open chokes and 1688 bopd with fleets of tankers during the ewt are now saying what I said when I was supposedly deramping.
I tell it how I see it, if you don't like it filter me, but there seem to be very few posters on here who have actually seemed to have read ore than a few RNS in full.
If you want to spend all day reading what the SP is, what someone guesses it will be in the future, how much they like SS I'm sure my posts are an irritation. As I said in a post on Monday: posters on here rejoicing in a rise in the SP aren't thinking of buying, they just want others to.
Penguins, but it did flow.
Remember not to long ago that those posting as experts on this board and elsewhere were insisting that there was no oil, and even if there was it would never flow as it was locked in, totally immobile, and if it did it would be just a trickle.
We all know now that It did flow and at record levels at HH.
Part 2
THE PRIZE: Weald Basin UK - "124 BILLION BARRELS OF OIL"
Ref: "Is this UK*s DALLAS style Oil Bonanza."-CNN Money USA of 2016.
Quote: "Oil is flowing from a well in South of England." In essence, "124 BILLION BARRELS OF OIL" could produce 1/4 of UK oil at 200,000 BARRELS of oil a day." It would put UK "in league with Canada & RUSSIA." CNN interviewed an Economic Geologist and recoverable from recall is 20%.
https://money.cnn.com/video/news/2016/03/16/uk-gatwick-oil-cnnmoney.index.html
Comment:
David Lenigas said in his latest interview [Gatwick Gusher gushed again] that recovery is 40-60% a/c to people on this forum. If it is tight oil, it is norm for 5-10% etc. Conventional oil in the region of 40%. From the Bakken USA info [Wiki] it was said recovery around the 20% mark and with water flooding 39-40% recovery. It explains that results were better with NATURAL FRACTURES.
TOC [Total organic content] was said to be 30 [3 times more than Horse Hill]. The recent Beetaloo discovery of Falcon Oil & Origin of Australia - TOC average 3-4%.
Those with a slightly longer view horizon need to understand the data coming out plus what the recent CEO interviews are saying. Without knowing what one is holding, how can one understand the investment?
The prize is POTENTIALLY BIG but who gets the BIGGEST share of the potential pie? It is HISTORY IN THE UK as Brexit looms. Government has an industrial policy and looks like the latest policy on oil is insightful + the regulation to come on low sulphur oil which could push oil to $200 as per article/s.
So many WEALD BASIN player*s geologists on the job via so many co*s.
Good volume this morning.
Is the oil tanker beginning to turn Northwards?
Top up time for me bottom of the pond looks to be In,
Gosh, Lidsey 'flowed' oil, but Angus, the coy AIM company seems to have declined to mention how muc and how fast.
Anyone who has actually looked at the Lidsey presentation (20 November 2017) will be aware that the KLs are a fraction of thickness seen in Brockham, even with a comparison that's expanded 4 times (100 metres of Lidsey compared to just under 400 metres of Brockham X4Z).
The 'finding's at both BB and Lidsey seem to be the Kimmeridge will be more mature in the centre of the basin, but what does that really mean. At BB we were told the fractures were oil filled with perfectly respectable oil, and the same goes for Lidsey, so maybe elsewhere the fractures will be filled with slightly lighter oil?
So the margins of the basin are so good that BB didn't seem to want to flow for some reason that wasn't related to the mud or cement job, and the 2 freshly perforated sections in the KL5 and KL1 didn't want to yield their riches either despite not having the excuse of the spent acid or completion fluid being left too long as an excuse.
But then UKOG allows IGAS to let PEDL 233, which is the licence to the south of the Broadford Bridge licence area to lapse when if this Territory is so great they could have taken on Operatorship and had another near 100 sq kms of the Kimmeridge play, but at the same time doing a placing to enable them to increase their position in the Weald.
Something doesn't add up. Here's what was said about PEDL233. Mentioned in the same RNS the corporate status change was announced.
Both UKOG and the licence's operator, IGas Energy Enterprise Limited, concluded that the asset offered low commercial potential together with significant future drilling and production planning consent issues related to its location in the South Downs National Park.
Boyzee
Investors need to look at the geology [Lidsey & Broadford Bridge] and the recent interviews. Horse Hill itself is 10 billion barrels of oil potential per the data. The share price is marking time and on checking live prices, its on a narrow range. Same with another peer.
Portland is conventional and it will have to carry out conventional technical processes to prove commerciality. On Angus, they are talking of connecting gas to the grid per an agreement [?] so gas is a factor in this.
Meanwhile, those with a medium to slightly longer horizon will need to look at the longer picture ie Kimmeridge.
News ...give it a rest ...watch the sp ...and feel the current silence. Somethings about to develop ...but what. Come on SS/DL , we need your Morcombe and Wise routine ...now!
Top up time for me bottom of the pond looks to be In,
Further to 8:26 post on this thread, this was PRIOR to Analysis at Lidsey, Bognor Regis:
EFN News USA - https:youtu.be/z5QeVxpMjTs
The above is Energy News Now from 2016 when UKOG plc had American coverage over Horse Hill. In essence, it mentioned "MOVEABLE OIL", "NO structural Oil Trapping Configuration." Mentions also the 30km between Broadford Bridge and Horse Hill.
Since the above video:
1) Paul Vonks, MD, ANGS Interview with Zak Mir of "1 LARGE field, SAME RESERVOIR."
2) David Lenigas, Founder of UKOG plc recent interview: "Gatwick Gusher has gushed again..." Gas mentioned & Lidsey.
3)Analyses by UKOG on Broadford Bridge {posted last night}. - 38.5API, TOC 30 {3 times more than Horse Hill} & Continuous play.
4)Analysis by Chief Geo, ANGS on Bognor Regis*s field, Lidsey - Kimmeridge oil tested 38.5API to 40API
[All the Weald Players and their comments which is on-topic as they have to match their fields with others in the Weald Kimmeridge including Balcombe, nr Broadford Bridge {Cuadrilla}.
Think you’ll find it was a sell. But I think you knew that already!
