TLW is my best performing share today terrible day - will get better - finance news would be nice.
Only downsides I see here is a production guidance downgrade (maybe AGM trading update).
Expecting Dusaffu, Gabon sale to complete very soon too.

oil price now 64.5$ with tullow FURTHER down at 45.5p
this was 61p at end of day when oil was 70$ mark briefly a few weeks ago.....another 5$ increase & back up into 60s again
Yes, we're undervalued.
Yes it's partly due to fundamentals, dept, covid and oil price all of which are improving, but I suspect it's also partly due to the prolonged period of shorting which has negated any positives which have developed over the same period of time.
I think the shorters have persisted in their activities knowing there was no quick fix and a true recovery was reliant on a number of stars aligning which at the moment they have not.
Things are slowly falling into place but it does your noggin in waiting.
ONWARDS £ UPWARDS.
My point is it would be nice..I am sure they will have to announce it soon as they stated. They said before end of second quarter. it could be any time. In the meantime oil is heading up which will support TLW share price and that's a positive. Anyone is old enough in making their own decisions. DYOR.
Bailiff....if you care to view the price of Tullow bonds trading near highs for the year, you do not have to be a genius to form an opinion. Rather than tell you what mine is , I would suggest that the negotiations to reschedule debt maturities are drawing to a conclusion . The art of investing is to look through the noise and look at the probability of different outcomes and invest according to your risk mandate. Notes like Cannacord’s, point out obvious balance sheet risks but fails to point out how a few sensible moves could resolve those issues. The direction of travel , if the bonds and RBL are successfully redetermine is obvious.
I would love positive news too and I still believe in the company and management to deliver what I need them to. I just feel it is not helpful to state there is a RNS coming when we don't know there is imminently.....It can mislead some people in to buying at the wrong time and potentially costing them money.
No, i don't work for TLW but I wish we get some nice positive news soon. 50p approaching though, it seems going that way!! DYOR.
I really do admire people's optimism and hopefulness when posting but please don't predict or state what is about to happen....it is misleading. Unless you work for tullow and are leaking news then you simply just don't know!
A positive RNS would now catch a lot of people out right now. It would be great. It's coming!!
The people who called the retrace have been proved correct. In contrast, the rampers are not accountable.
well; for better or worse I just bought back in at 45.06 this morning. seems I am resigned to tullow now and it's in the lap of the god's where it goes from here.... My average price means I am almost 100% up on my 'play' money for tullow but would be nice to see it back 60p+......I wonder if we will see that?
I'm not clever enough to understand the ins and outs of shorting and mm's influence on the sp but this appears to be relentlessly moving down against the grain.
Not only is the sp/value of the company being eroded, confidence in the company is too which is potentially more damaging.
When this does move forward on good news it's invariably from a repressed position and merely recovering lost ground.
Amazed companies within the index don't ever raise concerns or lobby for reform.

Those circumstances being whether they are holding shares or wanting to buy back in ?
Expect 50p again soon. IMO.
A person's thoughts and plans should change inline with changing circumstances.
40p or thereabouts?? Wishful thinking, 25% retracement is probably the bottom. 50-55p next when oil breaks out and heads towards $65 again. By summer , 60-65p.
DM, I think most people on here no longer care about your thoughts as they seem to change based upon your agenda......
Got to be close to bottom here
With easing of Lockdown oil demand increasing along with poo.
