Bigbench that's a lot more accurate than some of the doomsayers predicting that Sound would cease to exist.
A few of them have conveniently forgotten this. One thing I have always been confident of is that Graham will steer us to first gas.
who knows.... it could be 6p by next June?
PS I never said which year and less of the name calling thank you.
STD123: "even the most critical of doomsayers are now hedging their bets as the realisation that Graham is making a difference now sinks in."
... says the plonker who confidently predicted 6p by June.
Once we get word the next hurdle has been overcome and hopefully the SP gains more traction, more investors may then start to sit up and take notice, I'm sure for some the spectre of JP still looms large over SOU but to me he's fading fast.
Keep, even the most critical of doomsayers are now hedging their bets as the realisation that Graham is making a difference now sinks in.
There is still a long road ahead admittedly but getting to first gas is now realistic and will then pave the way for other things to fall into place. The mantra of "in Graham we trust" is very much alive and kicking.
Id say its in all parties concerned interest that they let Graham at least attempt to restructure things and give him a fighting chance to turn Sound into a profit making company, its a far longer and less certain road for any of them to recover anything if they don't and given the length of time passed probably written off anyway... The gas is still there and the Moroccan Gov desperately need it.
ItalFluids will be first in the queue for a payment of $5m, due soon after completion. There goes your six month buffer.
steady on, the doomsayers won't like that level of positivity :)
they'll grab at anything to imply failure whilst pretending to want sound to succeed, all rather pathetic really.
25 months away, we should be up and running in about 18.
December 23 for bond payments!! I hope our new friends at italfluids are on the ball & have some parts already done , so it will come in on time or before. Gla
Sentiment is fleeting. True value depends on a well signposted series of milestones that we are still waiting for. Phase 1 contracts -- originally planned for 31-Dec-2020 -- are just the first of several. Time is not on our side: the chances of LNG revenue in time to start bond amortisation in December 2023 are diminishing, not to mention that the Afriquia Gaz loan is needed for more immediate G&A and bond commitments.
A great deal of SP is driven on sentiment, it happened once before, it an happen once again. if PS was right, he would be an award winning fund manager !!
That's definitely realistic if good news lands in the next week
Be pretty nice to see this at 3 or 4p ;-0 if I'm honest
wish it was £1.40 paid.... me and all my friends would never have to work again!
I hate to be negative, and yet lately it sounds like that's all I am, which is really annoying, as I hae money invested, just like everyone else here, I'd like to think daveyboy is right and that we're close to something very positive, but ps does make a logical point, in a round about way, ignoring track recorded, surely you'd want to report good news asap, not leave it till the last minute, and thus the longer things drag out, the less positive I feel.
I've suffered a negative balance on this for so long now, and the one time I managed to break even, I re-assessed and decided to hold a little while longer thinking that there was a more positive vibe and things seem to be moving forwards, only for it to bite me on the as5 and since then i've returned to nearly 50% in the red :(
you couldn't mske it up :)
someone posts something positive and immediately I see a filtered post.
you can smell the desperation for sound to fail from some posters, even without reading their drivel.
I hate to say it, but when has SOU *ever* squeezed something in just before a looming deadline? Don't think I can remember a single occasion. The closer we get, the less likely that anything is forthcoming.
Only 6 working days left so we must be close to news, officially becoming a producer.
140 paid.......You would think some news is due?
