Agree whole heartedly. But trying to get this point through to investors that blame all of their woes on some else is futile.
The action group is taking the expected steps. I have my own idea of where the group is heading and who will gain from its inception.
I wonder why Trellis is not getting 100% replies from the group members. Maybe big numbers have sold out, maybe a few may find it difficult to show their proof of shares, maybe not at 4% anymore. Maybe close to 3%.
"Sell for a loss or hold for a gain? Some here have low averages but many are high averaged & hoping to recoup their paper losses. "

Now that mindset is hazardous and is exactly why most PI's never make money in the stock market (as we do the complete opposite of what professional traders do).
Throwing more money into a stock in order to average down is (usually) a sure way to destroy capital (eventually). Well I've been a victim of this in the past and lost all only to start fresh again with new capital to do a 'rinse and repeat' - those words still ring in my ears when I think of SOU.
No more though, thankfully.
Trellis, their maybe other Sound shareholders on Adfn that would like to join if aware of your efforts to prise some response from the BOD and MF.
As to trust I was the last person on the steps of the May, AGM venue to shake hands with JP with his last comment on reassurance to me.
Keep the pressure on Fumagalli, no reassurance or trust from him, very allusive.
It’s just good governance Trellis. A new chairman, a decent deal and a guaranteed income stream thereafter. The share price will then look after itself.
I hope that SOU take notice Trellis. It’s an obvious and necessary business decision.
Crude, what we need is an independent chairman untainted by any connection to SOU or JP. Someone keen to demonstrate that he/she would walk through a brick wall to protect investors’ interests. That would be the quickest route to kickstarting the process of rebuilding trust. The choice of new chairman will be a litmus test of how serious the company is to turn the corner.
That's a very insightful post for those who haven't yet connected the dots.
I 'm afraid I asked the quetion. I didn't know if he was still at Sound. I now know he is. It is incongruous that a man who has held the job previously would not be available as a temporary " stand in". However shy and timid he may be. Those fragile northerners hey. Far better that Mr Parsons is allowed to leave in place a Chairman with such a conflict of interest at such a crucial time for the company. Would it explain why so many executives have been disappeared over the years?
On the subject of boardroom scrutiny, someone asked why previous Chairman Richard Liddel (a non-Executive Director but previously Chairman) should not have taken up the post when it became vacant due to Simon Davies's sudden illness? I think it is a valid question. But maybe the Chairmans role never sat so easy on Richard's shoulders - at least that is the impression I had in Morocco. Richard is a good solid northerner; slightly shy but very personable & someone you would imagine has morals. He was sorely missed by private investors & needs to be replaced by someone of similar character.
I apologised, Crude. It is a phrase that TW uses, which I find quite amusing. I'd never spit spam. What a waste of food that would be. I'm going now, so I'll leave you all to discuss the reply from MF that Trellis is kindly going to let you see.
Jez, no need to spit the spam! I'm not trying to big myself up - you mentioned mugs, not I!
Ignore it, Crude. It was a phrase I learnt from Tom Winnifrith. Apologies if I offended anybody. However, Crude, I am still not convinced you actually hold any shares here at SOU. Only you know the truth, but surely at these levels even you will be nursing a paper loss? Mind you, you frequently remind folk on here how you managed to pay off your mortgage when the price was up at 89p. I don't think you are flavour of the month on this bb and maybe that's why you have chosen to mock me. To make your position look more credible. Well, I hope for your sake, you have managed to make a few more buddies.
Jez, I agree with StMary...coming over here denigrating the folk that remain invested as "mug punters" is pretty low of you! I know people who have sold for a loss but who are the mugs? Sell for a loss or hold for a gain? Some here have low averages but many are high averaged & hoping to recoup their paper losses. You can't accuse punters of being mugs because they think their luck might change on the AIM...YOU place enough bets on this casino & see how your luck holds!
Don't take your frustrations out on me. Go and see if you can get answers to the questions you guys posed to MF. That's all I'm really suggesting.....
After all, you are all part company owners here and deserve to be treated better. At least Trellis had a go and still some of you mock him, which is very unfair, seeing as though he has constantly stated that he is not looking for any sort of vendetta and is merely looking to gain some extra clarity as to what the situation is going forward.
I'm heading off again now, so I'll leave you all alone again. Have fun in the sun. Cheers for now...
It’s natural to want a share to do badly after you sell out. That’s all it is from Jez so no hard feelings.
By elite, you mean lucky. I’m holding the rest as I see the value here as much higher than 3p. I have time. Happy Xmas.
Happy for you, StMary. Isn't it time you took your pooch out for walkies? You must be in an elite club then of people who have done well from their investment here.
What are you talking about, Ducati? You're deluded. I'm stating my own personal opinion about how appalled I am that you guys never got the sort of answers you were hoping for from MF. No, I am not interested in buying-in here ever again, so hopefully I have confirmed that for you too. I'd rather give my money to charity. #Excitingtimes
Good for you Jez, but please don’t tar us all with the ‘mug’ punter label. I’m not one to boast on free BB’s (unlike some), but I’ll have you know I’m certainly no mug punter holding a free carry here with quite a number of shares. Move on bud.
Well I popped back here to wish you all a Merry Christmas, but some of you are never grateful of my presence. Since I exited this bb, you lot have bickered amongst yourselves and tried to obtain answers to questions you posed to the BOD here. Well, they have fallen upon deaf ears, which speaks volumes for me. They just don't really care, do they? Only mug punters are left here, trying to recoup their extreme losses. The manly thing to do would be to admit defeat and move on as I did. I even managed to recoup my SOU losses over at EUA in 2 weeks and I did mention EUA to you all - some of you have benefitted from that I see e.g. Jarrovian and one other chap who personally thanked me for rescuing his financial situation.
You're spellings fine....I've checked it haha
Jez you told us you were gone never to return yet here you are again. Still as i have observed previously you change your mind at will. Over 300 posts across different boards in the last month. 10 posts a day. You obviously have a problem, mentally i mean. Obnoxious, horrible man. Constantly alluding to nonsensical joke names for food etc. that only you and some others on here could find funny. Ever tried stand up.
Hope my spelling is ok
