Could close nearer 15p today...loving really strong this PM...
According to data on 22 Feb blackrock hold a combined amount of 4.16%. This is spread over three funds so maybe why they do not appear on Solg major shareholders list
https://www.morningstar.com/stocks/xlon/solg/ownership
Happy Its going in the right direction at least, just before the merger finalises
Agreed Orthern price is crap …..just feel it’s going to change very soon
I wont be happy until we are at least over 20p again... rising to 14 or 16 p is nothing to be happy with
Bid speculation
Going to build here very shortly
I see what you did there Add ;-)
Bozi, thanks. In other words you think it's a kitchen sink job?
Addicknt -i haven't looked in detail at this but i suspect, it is at least in part, down to the writing off of the exploration spend at Cascabel that SolGold had carried Cornerstone on.
It also shows that Cornerstone's other interests are too early stage or insubstantial to carry any real weight on the balance sheet.
Basically, SolGold doing all the heavy lifting for the combined group as we knew all along. This is why we were reluctant to see Irwin and co offered anything too enticing to come on board.
Agree Dave …. It’ll pop soon
Totally agree we can't addickt...which is why we're up for sale...but the Chinese could kick it off very quickly, especially as they already have a major presence in Ecuador...
Looking good for a close above 14p today...they can't hold it back forever...
Mind you at 31 Dec 2021 Norges held 0.57%...
Hi lutho
I wish I could but I'm afraid its a private board. sorry.
RK please could you provide link for that tweet. It is indeed interesting.
Maybe this explains it... Blackrock has 4.4% holding in Jiangxi Copper...conflict of interest...?
Thanks, RK. In layman's terms?
SM, do you not think that if the project is currently uneconomic the company has an obligation to say so? And are we 'pushing ahead' with the DFS? Bear in mind, we've been told of an indefinite delay.
RK, sure, the Chinese could do it, but we can't.
Blackrock have sold 39.6 million but UBS have bought 45 million (on whose behalf?)
B;ackrock bought 5.1 million shares in BHP and now have 13.5%...
Interesting...
Hi dave...I wonder if those are T2/T20 switches...? I've done a few of those in the last week or so...means you don't have to ante up the cash...
SM...remember that Jiangxi have done Due Diligence at the time they bought their 155 million shares...

Btw, I would assume construction can only start after a mining license has been granted. I am not aware Solgold has one or are even in the applying process. Pass me the salt jar please. Oh no, I might melt :-)
But is it highly unlikely addickt...?
China is already mining in Ecuador...they are world leaders in civil engineering projects...they would simply bring in an army of Chinese to build it...
And they don't need a DFS if they are self funding, so they could even start construction in 2023 maybe...?
Is this the same Ministry that announced that Mitsui want a stake in Cascabel (Vice President of Mines)?
SP currently controlled with a 34/35k buyer/seller up and down, keen to keep the SP where it is...why...??
