Rate cuts are the opposite of what's needed. Squeeze out all the malinvestment since 2008.
Powell knows this, and will argue that current data shows a relatively healthy US economy.
Powell is squeezing the EuroDollar system to increase US sovereignty over the dollar and increase investment inflows to the US by offering the best interest returns on 100% safe US government debt.
Notice how the LIBOR rate has been replaced by SOFOR. All part of the Fed's plan to reign in runaway offshore Dollar creation by Europe, and to break the EU monetary system, in favour of supporting the Dollar and US spending plans.
Either way, the £ is fuuuuucked.
Don,t you lot get bored with all this negative comments , try putitmg positives posts instead of rubbish , insults its not helping anyone is it ?
This in meant to be a information board not a little childs playground of pointless points scoring . I want to read what s going on with solg not a load of squabble or who has what ?
Exactly Tesla. Cuts should have started last June at the latest
We could really do with half a dozen intelligent people making decisions that affect everyone’s lives
SOLG closed at 9p equivalent...27 of the last 40 trades were at that price
Has anyone told them how long rate rises/decreases take to work their way in to the economy……
That would be a good start ……
Puzzling.
NAL, who said I didn't know about it? Unlike you, I tend to read as much as is available before I invest.
Way back in time I was invested in the company when the Solomon Islands were the hot topic, so I'd kept my eye on the company in the hope I might be able to get back the money I'd lost. I am confident I will.
As for your memory, I'm afraid it doesn't work properly, as you so admirably demonstrate every time you post. Perhaps it's time to visit your doctor.
Is that the sad little funt again .
What a sad life.
It almost gets to the point U would want to meet them in real life in the interest of medical science to understand what made them the way they are? How an earth do they get through life? So bitter and sad 😢
Hic
Yes Kalneedabari.
Many years and long memories including about your past aliases and bans for disruptive and abusive behaviour.
We’re still waiting for your admission, explanation and apology.
Bythe way adikt. Your correct, I am a dimwit. So
I'm not sure if your post was an appology or not.
But if it was. I accept it
I'm sorry adikt.
I thought with your appointment as the clappers spoke person, you had been here forever.
I'm amazed with your knowledge, you didn't know about the bhp offer.
Just a bit of advice then mate.
Before you feel the need to jump in. Look back to what was happening before you assumed control.
Some of us have been here many years, and have long memories.
Listen dimwit, you said I and soothsayer, whoever he is, screamed hysterically that we should turn down the BHP offer. I did no such thing and there's a good reason for that, at that particular moment, 2016 I believe, I wasn't a shareholder. So, unless you can provide evidence that I said, you can STFU.
To respond to your last asinine post: 1) We don't know and what happened back in the mists of time is completely irrelevant. 2) The various recent announcements have clearly passed you by. Perhaps your internet connect works on a five year time delay?
Tesla….yes they’ll ignore what‘a coming down the road and continue to look a year behind. They’ll (stupidly) hold rates and keep their boots on the throat of the economy
By the time they realise, it will be too late and we will be staring a prolonged recession and deflation in the face. Nice double whammy
Never mind the atrocious politicians we suffer, the Bank of England and that idiot Bailey are a whole new level of incompetent
Adikt your deflecting again.
I am simply responding to your claim that we don't. Know what someone would offer
WE Do. 35p a share.
And as for things progressing. Have you not noticed the sp, it's 8p.
So please respond to what I say. Not what you think I say
They are doing a good job.
64p Target Price - 700%+ increase to todays SP???
MM’s cant keep this down for much longer.
Gl all
Bbg, your deluded. What would l care what happened with bhp, after I got my 35p a share.
Nal, yet again a total lie. And if you think matters haven't progressed since those days, you're even thicker than I thought.
The picture here is getting better with each release.
We just have to wait for big news to drop and in the meantime the share price will do whatever it does as people take their positions ….

Needalife, a question:
With BHP's environmental track record in LATAM, would locals and the government make life easy for BHP in defining/securing an ESIA?
There is no chance on hell they would be able to secure, hence they are hiding behind Solgold.
When Solgold concludes the ESIA, it will be a new ball game
Bbg. It's well documented that only 8% of these forecasts are ever correct.
With 90% found to have over valued.
Get a grip, do a jigsaw puzzle or something.
It may help take your mind of your losses.
Adikt. I beg to differ.
Once again your a stranger to facts.
We do know what someone was prepared to pay for us bhp. 35p a share I believe.
But you and the soothsayer at the time screamed hysterically. Turn it down, turn it down.
Yet here we are, and 99% of posters would take 35p in a heart beat.
Perhaps those dastardly bhp characters mather thought he could outsmart, new the value all along.
Because there is not one scrap off evidence to support the mass hysteria on here that many are queing up to buy us.
Not one scrap
Interesting...
"Our current published valuation of GBp63/sh is based on the 2022 PFS. "
So the revised ramp-up PFS was just a process to buy time. So why buy time? Maybe to conclude the ESIA which is what BHP want before they move...
