Cooncan, Whatever it is and isnāt there is no denying many PIs like me missed out. Also directors with previous knowledge would have got in immediately leaving sophisticated PIs to fight over the crumbs from the masters table. NM could have been more helpful to PIs by allowing more time and/or choosing a different route but he didnāt.
I dont see how BHP will be annoyed.
Nick will have been open to them last year that he didn't want them to go above 15%. They would be gobsmacked if solg invited them to up their holding now.I
No placing should be touted or talked about while the share is trading imo.
It should be either a quick build or a suspension like asx.
Mornin DBW
As addinkt summised, I'm not sure annoying those who've given you a leg up is necessarily a good thing......or maybe he's just a wiley ol fox and stirring things up..........high stakes poker game afoot me thinks.........BHP certainly have the chips.......but just how good is NM's hand?????
mmm
fascinating innit ;o]
BN.c
BNC ,morning yes thats how i see it ,they need the money I think
You could not take up the offer if your based outside of the UK :-( So CGP WOULD NOT GET A sniff.
RichyRich
I think CGP have been selling to raise cash...........nowt else ;o]
Hi BNC
I remember Nick saying he couldnāt get board approval to buy more shares ..... wonder if that was Newcrest lol ..... this is just Nickās way of sticking two fingers up
Richy, I doubt in a game if cat and mouse solg are likely to hand b themselves on a plate to cgp..
I would go with solg are slowly tightening the vice on cgp, all imo if course
Maybe this is why Cornerstone have been selling their shares so they can take part in the fund raising at a lower price than what they sold them for?
DBW - or more likely the placing...... ;o]
Probably a long shot but it sprang to mind last night ( with the timing of this raise) whether news might follow almost immediately for the benefit of those who took up the offer ...... Also NM stated that he an the board were unable to buy shares due to being in possession of sensitive information...... I guess they can take part in primary bid ?
Agree 100% with you! After a hard day's work doing my best to survive, hardly possible as a"faithful LTH/PI" to take up this wonderful offer! Nearly at midnight Disingenious ++++! Foxtrot NM! I guess the board loaded themselves etc...
Little bit disingenuous of NM with this fund raising. Only two weeks ago (or whenever the first webinar was) saying āhope youāre all on boardā which was encouraging people to invest at that time then two weeks later a fund raise at 21p!! Also explains why my question regarding funds from Franco deal being used out with Cascabel wasnāt answered as they were working on this raise (or they just couldnāt be arsed replying). We needed the funds for regional exploration but Iām not too happy how this has been dealt with. Hey ho, get those drills spinning and generate some excitement with a new discovery!
Hmm , would never even search the crap , why would our board have made it so difficult for genuine holders?
āJust had my Top Up, couple of grand, thank you to the BOD for allowing the PIs to get a chance to participateā
Unlike you opulantia I donāt feel there is much to thank the BOD. After today I am with Redkinight1 āangry. I am not as sophisticated as many of you on this board but I see this as NM selling out faithful PIs like me. My rational for it
ā¢ Came home to find I have till 9.00 to bid and by the way
ā¢ That may not be true as it could have sold out well before then
ā¢ I am not primary bid customer so have to
o Open account.
o Find funds
ā¢ No time given to raise funds as market and banks all closed
ā¢ The directors, on the other hand, would have known about it well before today and would have had plenty of times to put arrangements in place to purchase first thing leaving the PIs to fight for the remainder
āAm I alone I thinking offering some discounted shares to long term private investors might be nice?ā No you are not shipwright. If NM wanted to reward long term PIs then the competitive short notice is hardly the way to do it.
At least with Primary bid you get the share certificate , through the post, which you can then forward on to your brokers to place into your SIPP or Trading account,
however I might just place the Certificate in a Gold coloured frame and hang it on the wall of the dining room, something to look back it in a few years time , lol
GLA LTH can't be many Primary offer shares left now, imo think we will either get a notification from Primary Bid on twitter or an RNS to say they are all taken
Just had my Top Up, couple of grand, thank you to the BOD for allowing the Pi,s to get a chance to participate,
I don't think they will be there for long , imo
GLA LTH not expecting much of a dip tomoz, they may try and bring it down a little at start but ill be there for some more , if it drops below primary bid offer
