Org, I won’t comment on your investment strategy or knowledge.
However the research you have done on the medical basis of this treatment is a tad poor.
I believe you are just being genuine and not trying to mislead people, it’s just that you haven’t researched enough.
To help you out, this was the very first piece of research I did about COPD.
“ One in eight (130,000) emergency admissions to hospital is for COPD, making it the second largest cause of emergency admission in the UK, and one of the most costly inpatient conditions treated by the NHS. About 30% of patients admitted with COPD for the first time will be readmitted within three months.”
I have spoken to 4 COPD sufferers directly and to dozens of people who have a COPD sufferers in their family. Trust me, listen to them and you will grasp what COPD “feels like”.
Scinv, RM has been clear that the next steps will require cash and that they cant go it alone. Although they've used the previous fundraise to raise millions of doses, at 14 doses a patient that clearly won't be enough.
Having said that, if they were going to raise cash by issuing shares they would have done so +£2 when Venrock et al were buying.
That only really leaves government support or licence agreements. I look forward to finding out which itll be as neither will be cheap.
Everton
Org.... just twists and turns to suit himself...
Everton we all know you were talking about those in the high risk category.....antagonist comes to mind regarding Org.....
GLA
Yes that’s the whole point. Flu is completely different however so many COPD sufferers end up in hospital when they have the flu.
SNG001 helps them.
It helps all people who have a respiratory condition that has been exacerbated by a virus.
Sort it alone LOL. Have you ever been short of breath through severe asthma or COPD, when all you want to do is breath. The relief offered by a nebuliser whilst I was a child was fantastic.
The aim of this therapeutic is exactly that, to help individuals who have a pre existing respiratory illness and an exacerbation Caused by flu, Covid or any other virus.
These particular patients will be used to getting relief from nebulisers etc and will be keen to avoid hospital stays. They will LOVE SNG001.
I agree Ghia but we are talking large numbers now... a few hundred patients registered would be barely 0.1% of all cases and as the drug has a great safety profile it shouldn't be too hard to convince those eligible to join the trial.
Chrishar - I think the issue is of the 140000 cases how many:
-are over 65
-are in a high risk group and over 50
-have a positive test result within the 3day window since symptomatic
The trial has been designed this way on purpose but will take time to fill.
Since expanding the home trial nationally (June 18th) I estimate that the UK has recorded 140000 positive covid cases... I would be shocked if synairgen have failed to register a few hundred of those.
RM stated money was being spent on items with long lead times, which makes sense. Can’t comment on exactly what that would be but no mention on easy or otherwise.
In all the Synairgen Joints
In all the towns
In all the world

AND BOY, ARE WE GLAD ! dyor
Ragz!
".....I only like working with facts...."
"....I could tell by her voice something is coming....."
Now that made me laugh :) I hope your intuition is better than your definition of facts
@brr stand down lol message wasn't for you.
Lets hope for some news soon.
Dude?? So you're a young'un. I wasn't challenging, just asked if you'd missed out the whole point of your post. Most of it was supposition reading between the lines of the receptionist [at some insurance company it appears] pausing occasionally. Hope you have a good day too. Wasn't looking for a fight.
Thanks Ragz, you couldn't have got more out of them as they are not allowed to share more over the phone for legal reasons. I think you can maybe read between the lines what the message is etc. Thanks anyways, great effort
Dude, I only like working from facts. A lot of people work on hope here!
I'm a share holder just like everyone else here. What I cannot stand is people making up rubbish with no backing! (300p + Orders)
I called them directly and got some kind of reinsurance today even though she didn't give much away but I could tell from her voice that something is coming.
Instead of challenging people like me why don't you use that energy and call them yourself (Tel: 0238 051 2800 or chase their possible suppliers for some kind of information or update.
Have a good day.
Ragz
Brilliant, thanks Sparkle. Nice to be a textbook case study :)
Yesterday was a bit depressing, I had to have a word with myself last night.
The scientific rationale for our drug here has only got stronger as time has gone on and the need for it is sadly increasing.
The idea that we're not making progress because we haven't had any news for two weeks is plainly ridiculous.
It would be nice if we had a higher profile in the media but probably better for the company to stay focused on getting this right than shouting about it.
What's frustrating is I imagine there's hundreds of people who are **** scared of getting covid that would very much like to be part of our trial if they were to know about it. I explained it to my aged parents last night and their fears both seemed alleviated on the chance of receiving inhaled interferon beta upon getting ill... of course they might get the placebo but still at 50/50 it gave them some comfort.

There is an awful lot of drivel on these boards, especially yesterday where people were suggesting it was **** easy to just go recruit any old person in home or wherever... so it might not be a bad reminder as to how the Gov and 10 of the top hospitals were engaged and recruited to do UK Covid trials and how Synairgen and Novartis take top spots on this...
https://www.nihr.ac.uk/partners-and-industry/industry/how-to-conduct-commercial-covid-19-research-in-the-uk.htm
This is the UK Gov backed process and looks pretty efficient to me. So the suggestions yesterday we can all recruit in Bradford or whatever can probably fly out of the window - as we need to be in the mainstream process set up by UK Public Health to do this stuff and we are. Suggest everyone open the link above and then half the drivel might disappear):
