It is when it goes up
Im the worst investor of all , can never let go of a share and always buying on the way down , not good )
How many of us can genuinely say we never buy a rising stock? It’s the way we are wired. I topped up at 202 this morning when I knew in my gut I’d get a cheaper price. At least I topped up again at 192.
Look at other holdings. I also have ORPH languishing at 20p. Do I top up now? No. Could I afford to? Yes. When will I most like top up? When it’s 28-30p on good news.
They say the best investors/traders are able to completely detach emotion from their decisions. All I know for certain is that I'm not one of them!
Thanks, iHowells. That's who I'm with. Saw the spread at 5-10p!
Hi MAct4 I do all my spreadbetting with IG. Spreads can vary on some companies depending on liquidity but find them pretty good.
Just for thought , here we are jo blogs just sold his shares for 3 % less than the current price 198 wow so happy. Is it worth it
Surely just the worry of this shooting up again above 2 pounds and missing out would do my head in and then the sleepless nights thinking what an idion i was, i would rather have the paper loss feeling now and then than that , as im sure we are invested in a good company in Synairgen. Is it worth it , not for me and i gather most on this board feel the same
Take care Woodstock- best wishes.
ihowells: who did you spreadbet with please?
Look after yourself Woodstock1970 - Already filturd the other numpty !
I do not think any us would have been worrying a couple of weeks ago that the sp would be going below £2. This company is only going one way. I totally agree. The company board, staff and shareholders deserve a massive congratulations.
I notice we have a Woody8 posting, trolling on this board. This poster categorically is nothing to do with me.
As mentioned over the weekend, I am not particularly well, and as a result taking rest. If by any chance Woody8 posts. Please report or filter.
Warm regards to long termers.
February onwards, that’s the price the matters.
Right now the price is irrelevant unless you’re a day trader
I have both physical and spread bet in SNG. Averaged up on my physical but still have my spread bet from 38p. GLA we are getting closer to the prize!
Sorry, pressed "post message" too soon.
I found that my mindset is different when spreadbetting to holding actual shares. My appetite for loss is substantially reduced.
As my ISA is maxed out for this year, I've just started experimenting with spread betting this share - going Long, of course!
This got me thinking: I think some of the buys and sells may be from PI selling to cash profit or reduce loss or to meet margin calls.
I just do not understand , when all the shares are being bought up by Polar etc and 2 ongoing stage 3 trials coming to a positive end in a few months , add the fact we are entering cold months no lock downs as yet , football stadiums full 2 time a week , travel being eased etc , corona cases / deaths on the rise . And in my opinion we could get a v big rns any time for emergency use . As i see it All us share holders have to do is hold on to our shares and we all become more wealthy than we are today, not give them away on the cheap.
Consolidation, rich boys loading up have to get shares somewhere, that's my take.I already sold some at 160 odd then bought back at 170 odd, glad I did. Will not be too eager to do that again!!

Don't count on it. I expect this Friday's price to close higher than last Friday's. But don't be surprised if it dips a bit below 190 in the meantime. It could go either way.
The sp price can zig zag as much as it likes , the end point is going to be the same a lot higher than it is today.
