Uallmakeitup - ‘ If the trials are good they will at least treble from here but if they are bad they will half . I still hold 10000 shares now as i sold 40000 this morning.’
So you sold at around 43p when you suggest it’s a 50-50 they will either treble in price or halve in price.? Given those odds alone you should be diving in head first! Maybe share trading is not for you. I’ll have the other 10,000 at 41p :).
Sandune u need ur head checked if u think russia has a higher moral ground than britain.. u sound like an old fart, no more needs to be said...
Reported sandune... if you don't like the UK then exit.
Looks like it's going to be one of those days. Covid Pump and Dump Sandune this company has been at this for 15 years all Covid has done is shorten the timelines to the end goal drastically, and perhaps widened the market for the drug application.
Perception is a great thing, ChrisTOffer ...
Anyway , not here to impress but to debate :-)
Wow Nolupus, that comment was almost a little rampy from you! I'm impressed! ;)
ChrisTOffer ,
As someone mentioned, this is a British drug for British people ....so
I would just add , with British regulators :-)
Good morning Nolupus, certainly haven't forgotten that both the at home and hospital sections of the trial are part of the one trial and until the release of the annual report I was under the impression that both would be required to start the approval process. However (and apologies for repeating myself to the others), the report says, "Data from the hospital trial
will read out during the summer, and, if positive, the Company will work closely with regulators to determine an expeditious route to securing approval for SNG001"
The risks still remain whereby the hospital part of the trial would still have to deliver positive results however that statement would suggest that the home part of the trial would not necessarily need to be completed ahead of the approval process starting. Would you agree?
Ah ok , makes more sense now thought I was missing something which I obviously was :-)
Well anyway it all feels like we’re revving things up either way.
Not forgotten here. But even though RNS states both groups will be eventually considered in “block” format they have to be separated to be meaningful. Otherwise why do two separate types of test?? They have very different implications.
How they release the results to the public domain is not yet knowable to us.
Not sure anyone here has shown that they are not taking all this into account.
I assume.
Have we forgotten that the hospital group is just one subgroup in the clinical trial .
The ´at home ´ patients are another subgroup but the trial is for the combined results of both subgroups !
From the stats it seems that covidxdeaths may be reducing worldwide but there will be many complex reasons for this. Cases are rising dramatically in S. America and India/Pakistan/Bangla. USA still very very high. Africa increasing . So the cases have just shifted from locked down areas . Covid is so unpredictable that a second less severe wave is feasible ( not less severe on the vulnerable just numerically). The UK has reported increases in hotspots around the country this week but it’ll take another week to see if the Cummings sffect plus easing has caused rates to increase. Dostancing has all but vanished except in shops and public transport. The need for treatment continues as the end of the summer into the winter is another risky tme. SNG are right to precipitate things. I feel all stops shoukd be pulled out for this. All stops.
But covid is very unpredictable if lockdown eases. Spain and France and Italy and Germany have actially done very very well. Far better than here. But we have Mr. Bumble in charge who ignores the scientists.
In a nutshell...the world still will need effective treatment. Early preferably as i-b. does.
Re. Lansdowne...they may delay TRI if the is one block order. But they may delight in drip feeding at an assured profit. But I can see why rhey lose money. 35p Placing. Now at 43p. A decent profit but why not keep it in the fifties.
Also Link may have a shady involvement. I have spoken worh them many times. Big complex heartless money making machine with fingers in many pies.
‘Nuff said
Did anyone else spot this from the update posted on SNG website:
‘At the date of this report recruitment activity is about to commence. The Group is continually monitoring the best recruitment options available and will also consider the benefits of opening additional sites. In the event that the COVID-19 infection rates reduce very substantially, the Group would consider whether it is best to finish the trial before the target 120 patients have been randomised.‘
Huge wealth of experience amongst the 7 Directors just read up on their Bio's even the NED's are significantly more experienced than I had expected.
I think SNG are legit! It is the pi's you have to watch!!
If Lansdowne Partners has applied a block trade to clear, they would still be holding the 11.7% as advertised in the RNS, as the block trade was open. So yes I believe they are selling, but will only confirM when the block trade is complete. IMO !
Is it me is all this getting a bit shady ? Im hoping synairgen are above board here !!
kwaboy - The RNS alerted people to the fact that this has been posted on synairgens website
https://www.synairgen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/19379_SY_AR_2019_v5-web.pdf
Page 24 clearly states Lansdowne with an unchanged holding since their last TR1.
So as far as Synairgen are concerned as of the 25th May Lansdowne still own circa 17m shares.
Does this put shade on the idea that Lansdowne are still offloading? Probably not since unless a TR1 is released Synairgen can only published the numbers as disclosed to the market.
I'm still awaiting a TR1 others may disagree, there is obviously news inbound regarding the woodford fund which Link currently controls.
So I post about the RNS tonight and the conversation goes left field , have I overestimated the significance of this, I think this could provide us with some real positive news.
Maybe I’m barking up the wrong tree?
