thanks volatility...have filtered.... never ceases to surprise me why, when people can easily be kind, they choose not to be. Thanks for the tip though.
Feedmyeyes. Ffs then, sell your stock.
I am hoping home trials of sgn016 are as positive as Sgn001
9pm tonight Channel 4 documentary. Race against virus. The hunt for vaccine.
Bella ...I think Richard Marsden is a very shrewd Businessman... I would
hold judgement until we get news....Who knows what may have been agreeed/negotiated.....GL!

Wrote to my MP last night. Suggest you do too. They're making such an utter hash of it, they might just possibly be desperate for just something they can point to and say, "We got that right." Get them asking Matt & co questions....
Hope springs eternal... So many lives - and the long term health of so many - at stake here. INTERFERON WORKS. All the data pointed that way before the trial results, let alone now. And it's clearly safe. Therefore they only risk some money, and in these times they will be forgiven for that.
What happened to Salvadore's post? S/He asked about diversifying, which is a perfectly valid question. In response I hold 4D, mainly for the other aspects than the covid side. Having an average of 53 in SNG I also topsliced 20% of the gain here and put it into FARN, which has more than one covid play, produces freeze dried inteferon [I think:DYOR], but is primarily a play also on inteferon therapy, but in IV format, for later stage disease. Complementary to SNG, to my mind. If inteferon works. Which it does, we know.
Knowing that I don't really know what I am doing (!) I tend to hold a lot of smaller holdings rather than a few big ones, but inteferon was always a good candidate for therapy and thanks to SNG and now FARN my largest individual bet.
I agree with you Manifesto up to the point we cannot compare the two...the comparison I was making was simply they and we are two small companies and they are an unlisted tiuny start up...who makes their product...who will finances it - upfront Govt money...???
'The government has placed a £161 million order for 5.8 million high-speed DnaNudge COVID-19 test kits to be used in NHS hospitals from September.'
https://www.imperial.ac.uk/news/201073/90-minute-covid-19-tests-government-orders/
I'm sure we could do the same with an upfront Govt handout and EUA....
Bella the point is they were offering a test that did not require a third party
to roll it out.....We have had fantstic trial results, but we are not in a place to
move forward without a Partner for manufacture and distribution. Crucial
we take the time to examine our options...You cannot compare the two..
Manifesto...I sort of agree but it's a dual edge...will deals be struck before Reg Authority signs off on it...
Both go hand in hand hence I think that's why the reference by Richard to 'detailed talks ongoing with Regulators (esp.MHRA/FDA) and numerous Pharma'...
If you look at the patent, SNG001 is a formulation of several products plus the inhaler itself. There are lots of companies who can produce such a product, we don;t actually need a Pharma to do this and Pharma does a lot of outsourcing. Now if you have several Pharmas in discussion, why would you give it to one if you could licence to several? Remember little old tech company ARM....
Now having said that, I think we should look at what sort of company SNG is - research not sales/marketing. So perhaps the option they will look for is sell the IP and/or company to the highest bidder or Licence it out to one or more pharma and live off the income which can finance new research on an ongoing basis.
Now going back to my comments, Govts do have a sway and as we've seen are prepared to bet on new vaccines/tests...if the UK Govt gives SGN and/or Pharma a LOI (Letter of Intent) to purchase X amount based on Regulators approving SNG001 for Emergency Use (at miniumum) then that would I'm sure drive negotiations and if the Govt at the same time gave the Regulators a nod and wink to give Emergency Use (at minimum) to save lives/get people back to work...there could be a bit of pork belly funding here too for you guys...then...well...
Not saying it will happen this way, but stranger thinks have happened in this funny old World like Govts putting so much faith on the New DnaNudge...it didn't take them long to get in did it????
Agree with Manifesto. RM et al are not going to release news just to satisfy our share chat speculations. Just remember the critical statement from RM, SNG001 potential is unprecedented and detailed talks ongoing with Regulators (esp.MHRA/FDA) and numerous Pharma. Patience will be rewarded.
Bella
I have no doubt that SNG001 will play a role..But we need to do a deal with a major pharma for
manufacture and distribution....So I think that is what is holding up the news being released..
Gov. cannot do anything until there is availability...They need everything in place....
Realistically what other options are there.......GLA!
The Uk Govt is putting it's faith into a new DNA Test produced by a company called DnaNudge....
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/roll-out-of-2-new-rapid-coronavirus-tests-ahead-of-winter
mmm!...no big pharma here just a non-listed very very small Mom and Pop type online business which proves to me that they will go down any route big or small to try and get this Covid crisis under control and keep people (especially NHS and front liners in work).
A test that doesn't work is more dangerous IMO than a treatment or drug that isn't effective. So my point is, if the powers to be are putting their faith in the new DnaNudge Test Kit, then surely they must be looking at/considering the likes of SNG001. If they are then it would make sense based on the science (and they keep saying they're science lead) that Emergency Use would be a given....
I cannot believe logic won't prevail here...
