while the trolls try and make mischief out of the dividend red herring, i had missed what a fragile ego bandit has. difficult to gauge him, particularly when he hangs around creeps like marty on this board. btw, anyone seen marty recently - not like him to miss an opportunity to snark at the company?
Um, in a word: no. I made a silly error which confused exactly no one while providing shareholders useful information on their dividend worries. You on the other hand, thought it necessary to bring into the world a post with no evident purpose other than pointing out that silly mistake in such a way as to try and embarrass me and I guess, pump up your damaged ego in the process. Classy.
CompuServe - the value leader in Cyberspace is unlikely to be involved with this dividend unless it is lost in Cyberspace of course.
Computershare - the worlds only Global share registrar.
Important to get ones facts right if you intend to take the moral high ground don’t you think?
I got this reply within an hour or so, which backs up what Bluerill says.
Hi Bill,
We received your query.
The dividend payments were sent out on May 29th so Lloyds should receive the payment for their holding this week despite any postal delays caused by Covid-19.
If they have not received it, they should contact the registrar.
I hope this has been helpful.
Kind Regards
Alan

more mumbo jumbo from afake - been to the offlicense and offal shop early this morning
Ok. I'm going to try this one more. San Leon have paid the full amount of the dividend proceeds a month ago. Those proceeds were disbursed to an INTERMEDIARY like Compuserve. This is how dividend disbursement is often done, particularly for small companies, particularly ones that are not yet paying regular dividends. The very idea that a small company like San Leon would go through the administrative nightmare of trying to confirm exactly how many shares are held in custody at which financial institution and then manage a cash disbursement to scores of them, is patently ridiculous. That's why there are firms like Compuserve that specialise in this activity, and ALWAYS HAVE. As I have explained several times now: if you have not yet received your dividend payment, it is either down to teething problems between your broker and the intermediary or just a general lack of prioritisation for small shareholders at now chronically understaffed brokerage firms in the UK; i.e., NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH SAN LEON. ZERO. NADA. p.s.: the email posted below is therefore either: 1. bogus; or 2. more likely written by a moron at HL who doesn't understand the first thing about back office activities and since learning about such things does not pay his bills, he makes no effort to do so. Instead he does some perfunctory telephone calls so he can write an email back to his pain-in-butt client who won't stop pestering him about some stupid dividend (this is what your broker is thinking ALWAYS when he has to check on something like this. Don't blame the messenger), that blames the Company in the hopes that his client is too uniformed to realise its a nonsense.
why wold anyone be surprised no divi payment yet. red lion famous for not delivuring on its word. it never ever delivered any of its promises on time, sumtimes never delivered at all. new investors not remembur the times the red lion gone into surspension for not delivuring stuff. once it was accounts that was 6 months late once investurs got stuck with unwanted shares while in surspension.
do your own reserch, it all true. only certain thing about the red lion is the posotive ramping troll team will be rude to you and make excuse up for there loved one always shortfalling. he will always drag out old irellivunt posts from past to distract you from what really going on so beware of them hissing snakes in the grass.

Dear ***********
Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately we have not yet received the payment form San Leon PLC. I can confirm that we have today chased the company on the late payment. We have been assured that the payment will be credited to ourselves and thus our client’s within the next few working days.
If you have any other questions, please get back to me.
If its not received by Monday, going to complain to the regulators and nomad as it was RNS'd for 29th of last month
