Morning Paulcon, I have sent you a message on advfn (lse premium only) be good to compare notes.
Great posts Paulcon62. I too expect a constant stream of positive news from our numerous revenue streams and believe Gerry has a few aces up his sleeve. You can tell he seems very confident with what he is building and the great progress made to date.
Paulcon, you gone all RNS on us ??
I made the same mistake and saw $500,000 rather than $3,000,000. I was happy with $500,000, ecstatic with $3,000,000.
Interesting wording "first contract", the optimist in me interpreted that as 'first of many' rather that the factual 'the first ever'. It will be the first of many I am sure.
I think a lot people read it as $500k for 3 years rather than potentially $3 million for 3 years, hence the muted reaction
I also read it as 500k for the entirety of the 3 year deal. RNS needs rewording and release day again with total possible revenue over the 3 years clearly stated.
Good post Stoater.............:)
would've been better with some dots and brackets BTW............. :()
All the best (rec from me, always watchin.......... even when at work......... teabreaks obvs.................. :()
$500,000/6 months is pretty significant for one contract, no doubt more will be announced soon
I must admit, I also read it as a payment of $500k for a 3 year contract. I was very surprised by the muted reaction from the market....and even more so now that GB has pointed out it is a recurring payment which is substantially better than first anticipated.
I for one would like to the RNS reworded and rereleased as it is pretty obvious many people have misread the announcement.
It is beginning to look like our share price is being suppressed by the MM's after lasts weeks car crash fall. I'm pretty sure we will not be artificially held at these prices for long because the quality of our products and potential growth will shine through.
Today's welcome announcement was just the first in what I expect to be many more in the ensuing months ahead.
Our patience will be rewarded.....and if you have been a shareholder for more than a few weeks......you should already be smiling. :o)
GLA..... and thank you @GB for providing the clarity on the RNS.
I only put the x2 together after Gerards post Preyz...........!
so agreed, a laymans terms RNS would be welcome, but we have Gerard to clear up the facts, and the Nomad would have signed off on the RNS...........!
Why they make it complicated........ I don't know............!
All the best (could be to invite sophisticated investors rather than the day trader types................ ?............... who knows......... :)
Hey Chesh...
yes, i read the RNS after, but first saw it on investing.com article
The pro - active article doesnt mention the renewal, you can assume how how they interpreted it and other investors may read it too
its great news and reading the Rns i have added more, but it was a just a case of it not being totally clear that its a $500k 6 month contract extending to 3 years which could be circa $3m
" and an annual renewal thereafter." is clearly in the RNS..........!
but, "$500,000 of equipment, consumables and services from ecowaterOS partners", obvs the equipment (hardware) is non reoccurring rev, the consumables and services I assume will be...........!
All the best (to what value......? and don't forget, 1st of 1000's as stated in my edited title.......................... :()
it was an article by Pro - Active
i read it the same... (via investing.com)
Integumen PLC (LON:SKIN) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the WaterRising Institute to supply equipment to detect pathogens including COVID-19 in the Great Lakes region in Michigan. The WaterRising Institute is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to provide real-time alerts to identify sources of water pollution. Integumen will act as WaterRising's agent to design, build, install and supervise the Detroit River AI Water Quality Project (DRAWQ).
An MOU has been signed for a three-year framework agreement to supply US$500,000 of equipment, consumables and services and manage the real-time monitoring of water quality using its AI-based monitoring systems.
RNS - not too clear about revenue with water rising. Sorry.
I believed it to be a total of 500k for contract. Only when pointed out by GB that it could be deciphered to a 6 month payment. Would it not have been clearer to say 500K paid every 6 months over duration of 3 year contract which equates to 3m?
Did you miss out SARS-CoV-2 Gerard............?
or is it a trap that I've fell into...............! :()
All the best (either way, I got the spelling of SARS-CoV-2 from the RNS, so I didn't look stupid....................... :()
@MrB
Your list reminded me of Ronnie Barker rattling off the ice cream flavours in that famous sketch! :)
All power to you, sir.

@Mr B.
Yup the possibilities for this tech are endless and the difference made to the real world and revenue streams to be gained are both mind boggling.
Knowing that this was all in you and your team's mind pre-covid is something that caused me to invest large here and I do have great faith in the longevity (if you get a chance before being bought out!).
The big question is always what to push and where, and that's what we are relying on your judgement to pick or get pulled to. My mind keeps going back to the roll out of the biggest tech move of our time, mobile comms. It came in small concentrated pockets rather than instant blanket coverage.
@Argyle these things take time. We have been talking for months on this. Resources are focused on what they have been which is sectors that have high demand and deep pockets, which include the Cruise, Airline, factories of multi-national corporations, EAST, WEST and EU. All require an end-to-end solution, not bits and pieces. They need a way to open their industries and around the Great Lakes are such large corporations. This is the largest source of Fresh Water in the Western Hemisphere 7 Provinces, 35 million People who rely on the lakes for drinking, jobs and their way of life.

"@Argyle... work in progress"
IMHO a far better area to concentrate initial resources on and dominate.
The chicken/egg scenario of the BT and the scanners may work well for command/control situations (ie cruise ships, singapore etc) but I'd hesitate see to it romp home ahead of the opposition in the western hemisphere.
@Argyle... work in progress
Happy to be corrected Mr B, now that is a bit more 'material' and makes a bit more sense. It also could of been worded slightly better as I'm not the only one to read it that way ;-)
When are we going to see a prototype unit testing on a cruise ship then good Sir? MicrotoxFX or something new?
Simpleh loveleh response from Big G.
Keep up the good work. Progressing nicely.
@Argyle, third paragraph down. "The appointment to manage the water systems will continue for three years, with an initial trial period of six months, and an annual renewal thereafter"
@Argyle that is $500,000 over 6 months. Sorry to correct you but I would ask you yo be careful speculating.
