I was going to repaste my post onto the new bb.
Would prefer it if rift and Sr123 took the honours and posted something there first.
Another Tullow Appointment who no doubt will be buying shares in the market . This former Tullow team must be chomping at the bit to get going without the shackles of Tullow development problems in Kenya and Uganda or massive indebtedness .
Leverage can be very profitable for shareholders when used at the right time , combined with equity so clean slate , ex Tullow McDade , Cloke and Duelina . All the best !
Mouth watering to think after one or two acquisitions of IOC late stage assets , where this mcap will be .
Aren't we very close to getting our timing wrong. We are now it seems coming out of desperate times for the sector and that was recognised by the BoD who saw it as an opportune time to make an acquisition. Yet there is now talk of a commodity super cycle. If that is to be the case then the boat may well be sailing without us................ if indeed it was our intention of ever getting on it?
Big write up in todays FT.
interesting he had a long chat with but not one of his CEO interviews - possibly on hold untl they confirm a deal
WOW! Malcy had long chat with McDade.
"I had a long chat with Paul earlier I’m excited about opportunities and his board is absolutely top notch."
Must have given some flavour as to what opportunities they're looking at
TICK ******* TOCK!

All resolutions (name change and new articles) passed.
Not much on operations - Company intends to grow through ACQUISITIONS to achieve SCALE and reflect its new African Energy Transition Strategy
Mentioned
That was an exciting 10 minutes! Two resolutions, both passed, some pleasant music.
As expected, a typical AGM. Obviously any share sensitive news would first have to be released by RNS. A waiting game for that red dot to appear.

Perfect time to do a MAJORS African Energy Transition deal me thinks. $75 Brent would tip into a sellers market but clearly a buyers market still
Keeping an eye on this one as looks like an exciting prospect. Who knows how long the first deal will take. I have a stake in Longboat Energy and we've been waiting 18 months. Longboat are currently trading at about £0.75m premium to cash (£8.25m market cap vs approx £7.5m in bank), whereas Sterling appear to be trading at about £6 million premium to cash, if my calcs are right (£36m market cap vs £30m in bank).
Just giving some perspective here. I continue to watch, and will look to buy in if and when sp gets closer to cash in bank.
Hadron's selling is a gift to those who were watching on the sidelines. On 21 april they announced that on 20 April they crossed to 4.92% . Every 1% down until 3% they must disclose. Next disclose is 4% which assuming 85% of the trades since 21 April have been them, brings them within a day of their next disclose i reckon.
The action hasn't even started here yet Norfolkslim.
A DEAL will double the share price at least
I’ve just doubled my holding. Happy to sit on them and reap the rewards of patience in due course. ??
That's a lot more than i am making so far! They probably have millions left to sell should they wish although presumably they would stop at the 15p level. Perhaps the AGM will bring some news.
Definitely Hadron. Not sure why they're selling, only making 13 % at these levels
Rites Try 16.48
Bought one more tranche
News at AGM hopefully
Hadron still selling maybe?
Cannot believe theres share on the ask at 17.00. Something's got to give. Virtually a cash shell except the former Tullow CEO and EVP runs it
