Lmfao @JTT
A military analyst for decades...a didnt know we were dealing with a special agent.
And he cant learn anything from anyone - a she has daily situational reports (sitreps) from a good, sorry impeccable source.
I am getting that message printed and framed - what a howler
Hahahaaa what a plonker!! “Daily sitreps” on Russian activities as you “used to be an analyst”. Give DeepThroat a big thanks from the lads, you boys are clearly fighting the good fight. ??
JTT is it worth giving Nettles some milk this morning, push the boat out mate
Manew LOL you massive dweeb!
Thank you for the laughs, Sitrep lol lol lol lol lol
F’ing dying!!!
@Manaew
No doubt you've already worked-out the answer to your above question - but the display of naivety and self-interest speaks volumes. I too would much prefer to stay with a narrative which directly involves Rolls-Royce. The noise on this forum is atrocious and distracting.
Convb,
I was a military intelligence analyst Russian speaker for decades, i don't need a macro level discussion on a share forum and no I wouldn't learn anything.
I get a daily Sitrep from an impeccable source of intelligence data.
So why this obsession woth geopolitics and military on a share forum?
Manew...Cw96 does a pretty great job at a Macro snap shot...and they are certainly very relevant...read his posts you may learn something
Manaew I have a lovely recipe for Bulgarian Nettle Soup if you Guys want it its amazing stuff lol :)
Cw1966, what is it mate with your obsession with geopolitics and military matters?.
This is a RR share chat, can't you find a political or military forum to chat on.
Jesus, you'll be posting about paella recipes soon, what's up with you?
China and India do not buy their oil from anywhere else but Russia why would they its discounted. No short supply as you say this is the west driving up inflation and opec the cartel cashing in
slowandsteady, whilst I don't disagree that Putin needs to be stopped, it's too little too late in terms of military aid. From November last year they had intel that things were moving, yet NATO and the US just watched.
Also, paying more for oil, does not guarantee no war.
OPEC is gouging, simple as that. There is no shortage, oil that used to come to the west is being sent to the east, oil that used to be sent east is no longer being bought as they are getting cheap oil from Russia.
If at the end of it we all become a little more self reliant as individual countries, then possibly that is a good thing, would you not agree?
Convb Exactly
The amount of grief I’ve received through recognising that Russia has an axe to grind though to commit Murder is inexcusable
There’s no such thing as all Russians or Americans are bad
this is all about weakening Russia
From Putin 2007
The West’s supposed violation of a pledge not to enlarge NATO has long figured as a key element in Putin’s narrative about (and against) the Alliance. In his bombastic February 2007 speech to the Munich Security Conference, he said:
And we have the right to ask: against whom is this [NATO] expansion intended? And what happened to the assurances our Western partners made after the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact? … I would like to quote the speech of NATO General Secretary Mr. Woerner in Brussels on 17 May 1990. He said at the time that: ‘the fact that we are ready not to place a NATO army outside of German territory gives the Soviet Union a firm security guarantee.” Where are these guarantees?
Thank God you are not in a postion of power slow.
I say Deliver Zelenskys head on a platter and give Russia the land they want.
Then lets get the markets booming.
Thanks for replying Phil

I have to disagree with some points “Russia winning the war “ Russia are winning the current battle maybe but at the same time are expelling so much energy for very small gains which I suspect Putin can’t continue for a very long time .. Ukraine could change quickly if enough weapons and the right sort of weapon can get to Ukraine.. The morale of the Russians is very low and I would say 1/2 good counter attacks could change the field of play .. That’s where the Western resolve comes in .. The war is a stalemate right now with a slight advantage to the Russians but to expel 2000 shells to gain a cross roads in Sveredonestk will be unsustainable going forward … Giving in to Putin and he will regroup and go further.. on Ceasefire the west will have to supply Ukraine with no end of Weapons just to remind Putin not to go further.. That cost will also be a burden for the West .. I would like to think that Putins Generals will remind him that they have lost 30k Soldiers and probably another amount injured and equipment loss is also immense that this maybe a deterrent for more fighting.. If rumours are right Putin may not be around in a few years and you may see a slightly different Russia in a few years because they will have to re build bridges with the West .. China definitely wants to see a weak Russia and jump in bed with them is just as unreliable as the Wedt
Aeralis touts ‘best of British’ approach as interest soars in modular jet

Aeralis is one of the many companies hoping to help propel the UK aerospace industry out of the pandemic-driven downturn, as it attracts new industrial partners and fresh financial backing for its modular family of military jets.
The firm will conduct a preliminary design review (PDR) for a demonstrator aircraft “in the autumn”, and is aiming for a first test flight within three years.

Roles could include performing basic and advanced jet training tasks
Interest in Aeralis has spiked since the aerospace sector began emerging from the Covid-19 crisis late last year. The start-up company’s stand at last September’s DSEI exhibition in London was inundated with visitors, and it also grabbed attention by unveiling two full-scale mock-ups at March’s DIMDEX event in Qatar.
“The aim is to get the first article of the modular vehicle flying by 2025, so we can prove that the company is capable of getting approval to fly a modular jet training aircraft,” says chief executive Tristan Crawford.
Aeralis’s concept makes use of a core common fuselage, to which a variety of propulsion systems, wings and payloads can be integrated. Roles could range from basic and advanced jet training to light attack duties, along with operational/aggressor training and aerobatic display team use.
Originally piloted assets could later in life be converted for unmanned roles such as intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, “loyal wingman” or even autonomous in-flight refuelling, it believes.
Aeralis will be at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at Fairford in Gloucestershire from 15-17 July, and at the Farnborough air show.
“Our focus is more on RIAT this year,” Crawford says of the normally annual military spectacular, which is being staged for the first time since 2019. The company has taken a hospitality chalet and also hopes to have a full-scale mock-up at the event.
“We will be hosting a lot of people – military delegations and industry partners,” he says. “Particularly some of the key international customers who have RFIs [requests for information] and RFPs [requests for proposals] out at the moment.”
EMISSION STATEMENT
At Farnborough, Aeralis is taking space on the West of England Aerospace Forum stand: in May it opened a new office and “enterprise hub” in Bristol.
“We will be looking for the aerospace supply chain to come and talk to us about the technology options that we can bake into our technology roadmap to achieve net zero [emissions] in the timeframe that we are looking for,” Crawford says. “That’s everything from biodegradable aerostructures, sustainable aviation fuel [SAF], more electric aircraft systems and digital manufacturing and assembly.”
Crawford believes Aeralis presents a real opportunity for UK industry to shine on the global stage. “We are looking to inde
