“I think were all thinking of 100p or such like.....I do think the BOD mislead”
I really believe that was the original plan, but when the shareprice started to plunge on the rumor, the advisers called the quantums in to devise an RI with lots of obfuscation and convolution in order to deceive. Jiggery poker involved for sure (no pun intended)

sure...it gets heated at times...but...that is all hot air .... I couldnt get my head around Causeway Capital Management taking up a 7.14% position knowing also discussion were ongoing..and the other Americans...I think totally 12.8%
and then the timing..It appeared the worst moment...surely they didnt need it quite yet.... and yes..they mislead on the wording ..I fell for it...
I feel for the guys who are going to have to stump up a lot of money to stay in the game.....it can be a lot of money....far far more than anyone expected....32p for 6 billion shares ..I still cant get my head around that being the best they could get after 4-5 months

Thanks for taking the time to reply. You did well to exit the trade with negligible losses. Most on here would have held and hoped. What starts off as losing a toe often leads to having a leg amputated later on.

Toff,
I sold my two trades last night about 4.25pm..once the climb up from 130p to 134.8p got shot to pieces back down again...I didnt like it..it fell rapidly ..and once my second trade was then in a loss I decided to pull out...I dont have big money numbers like some of these guys so my loss isnt so damaging ...and I will take it on the chin from other profit....c'est la vie
My discussion on the fund raising was always on the timing...and I have to say I am shocked at 32p ...even you, ShamI89 and Casa I think were all thinking of 100p or such like.....I do think the BOD mislead ...maybe I was naive in taking on what they had said... I think it is good to have two sides of a debate ....our side lost....
I have no intention of getting involved with the RI at present.... that example of where 92% of an investment would then be needed to get 55% average reduction is an eye opener ..and 8.3 billion shares is another reason to step back and think
I am shocked that they have clearly had a gun put to their head and told...take it or leave it....
but...they have a future...but clearly the R&D will need investment and aviation will no doubt be very different in 10 years time .... but.... I will not make any move on buy in just yet...
It has been good debating with you and others...

Not a trader. Well not equities or his knowledge would be more convincing. Camden maybe!
Ok so what’s the difference to taking up RI or not.
How does that effect my average and loss going forward ?
Thanks in advance mate
your only option to get out with a £500 loss is to keep these for some years. Your average price would be lower going forwards if you took up your New shares (at 32p) so you could get out earlier for the £500 loss. But will require a further investment obviously. Or don't take up the rights and run these at the higher average price. Either way...it'll be a while...
I’m not invested here but am invested in not letting Toffnobington treat people the way he dose. Spends all his time looking for companies that are having share price issues then jumps in winding people up making out he knows wot is happening cos he used to be a trader so he says even been caught out copying journalists work without crediting it and most of his posts use the same method by copying sections so it look like his own work don’t get involved with him ain’t worth being wound up by I’m.
6k invested at 3.12- whats my best option to sell at a 1/2k loss at some point ? Thanks
I’ll keep posting till I get a reply

Where are you Poker?
I’m surprised you got caught out. I’d have thought you’ve been around long enough to see the danger signals.
Only the other day you wrote...
“they are trying to move away from that and create their own fiction propaganda that if they repeat it enough times..folks will think it is now fact”
To which I replied...
“You took the words right out of my mouth.
That is exactly what you and other shareholders are trying to do by denying a rights issue.”
I’m interested to know what you’re going to do next?
I know it’s none of my business.
But how are you going to play this losing trade?
