The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Dean I'm trying not to be rude but it really doesn't sound like you know what you're talking about. "75% of investors need to vote to delist the stock"?? That's simply not true. I have no idea where you got that from.
There are still people on here who may be looking to try to make a quick buck but are much more likely to lose the lot (if they haven't done so already).
Please don't suggest there's any upside in buying these shares. Apart from a ballsy day-trader who's going to try to buy and sell a couple of million of these inside a few hours, there's literally no value here; they've gone.
It's probably best not to try to entice people into this share.
But I wish you the best with whatever else you are holding / trading.
@ twib - why would it bounce? Seriously...
Sorry to anyone who had decent money in here - I'm sure there will be many. I really thought these guys were going somewhere as well - and not just down the toilet.
I had a couple of g but nothing sleep-depriving. Hope you all get some back elsewhere.
Another one bites the dust.
I must say I'm a little disappointed by the muted reaction to this enormous deal. I was expecting a 5 - 10% increase this morning. I mean, I know it's a FTSE100 stock, and they rarely make those sorts of movements and I'm in and staying in, (obviously) but unless this was already factored in, it's a little underwhelming...
"...take off"
Lol. Rather optimistic! But I'm with you Porky - fingers crossed!
14 - 82? Yours!!
Sorry to hear. It did go pop rather quickly!
Hope you get at least some of it back!
You know the resolutions were passed right?
We're now waiting for DDDD to give the new investors a load of very cheap shares to cover their £15m interest, which will dictate what level these should be at, and then they should be coming back to market. Current thinking is something around the 5-7p level...
I can't believe I got one right! I was actually looking at selling these at the end of last week as I was running a small profit and it would have freed up some cash to buy a few more cheap ones on the other stocks I'm heavily underwater on (big shout out to 88 Energy and Eurasia Mining!)
Hope all did well here.
GLA
Mate, that's a terrible attempt at trolling! Seriously??
345m new shares is a dilution of less than 3% - and it's to pay a new partner - they've accepted the shares instead of a cash payment.
Now - try again - does that sound like bad news to you?
Calm down chaps. These will go where they will go. I'm happy that, having been heavily down just a week ago I'm now knocking on the door of unch, and hoping for a little profit, to cover my cost of carry for these over the past 4 or 5 years! I'd actually written these off. Lucky I didn't flog them at 0.2 or something ridiculous.
But anyway, let's just calm down a bit and see what happens.
GLA.
Does anyone have any idea when we would normally expect the next RNS to be? I know Monday was the spud day - but how long after that would it usually take to get some good, reliable data to present to the market?
I assume that would take a couple of days at least?
I can understand it. Remember these were just 22p last week. A lot of people will be looking at a straight 20% profit in just 1 week - which is hard to turn down if you don't believe these will be taken out imminently, or can't be bothered to sit around for another month or 2 waiting for something to (maybe) happen.
