Fair enough. You may be right that this fall below the PB price may encourage buyers. Lets see what price it is later in the month when the new stock is released.
PB placings can be strange I agree. One placing stock went up 10 fold in two months; others have crashed. If you look at ORPH today. It released a decent statement today but is now down. They did a PB placing a week or so ago and it is now falling.....a lot of PB buyers are only interested in a quick turn and they now have some of the new stock.
Barnet Peter/Ohmetoo - Not sure you are quite correct there. The values on the transactions are tiny. Not really a wave or river of selling. With 50% of the company tied up in the hands of two investors, the ability to top up at below the placing price is most welcome.
It is a fact, that you will only "suffer" share dilution if you sit on your hands and do nothing. You either participate (in the proportion of the additional shares issued) or sell up. Mathematically and financially the worst action you can take is to do nothing. Not preaching that's just the way it is.
He has liked it for a long time so much so he ditched it out of his bucket list, just saying
Malcy wil have the word out later on .He likes this company
Waves of selling today. It is clear the mkt does not like this. We will see what the next weeks up to the new shares released bring. Another fall like today would see it close to 1p .....so dont rule anything out.
Sound is terrible on my phone.
barnetpeter Dot talk wet. 1p lol
Stay in Barnet Pete
Lets see where we are in a couple weeks after todays panic
what a mess this latest placing could now turn out to be..
PL has made a bigger and bigger mess of this s/p for years now imho... loves doing placings and the s/p loves collapsing down further again off the back..
Longtermers who haven't continually averaged down regularly have gone from a being in an extraordinarily deep hole to now effectively dead money here, sadly and imho
I thought I was doing well topping up at 1.95 near open.... but just bought more at 1.80p now ,, and would buy more again at 1.70 p etc..
ouch !!!!
Waves of selling. This looks bad and I see this tanking now. Maybe to 1p or something.
Bought in at 1.749 so much for primary bid :)
No point in guessing that one, no buy out coming. PL has converted his extortionate loan again to keep his 29.9% grip on the company. As for acquisitions more dilution on the way, we get shafted they get paid simples
The primary bidders who have committed will be as sick as parrots by the 22nd june as this could retrace to 1.45 level.
Going off some of the content in the rns results are going to be way below expectations and the reason for the funding now on not after
Parky what would be your buyout price ?
Just bought some at 1.81p, crazy.
10p are u having a laugh, why pay over the odds when your calling the shots, have a look at the price schroders were willing to reduce their holding at recently, that should give you a guide price and what they would be happy with.
Welcome to the world of dilution at PPC inc
Absolute river of sells today
Just checked, I can buy at 1.85p with my broker. No need to go through placing or primarybid. Now I've calmed down could buy some more.
been thinking the same possible buyout looming now after this.
5p to 10 range hmmmmm
I reckon Rob Shepherd's average for his shares is now 6p. No Idea what Peter Levine's average share price is but they are both underwater at the moment. Something is afoot. A buy out at 10p? Any thoughts
Primarybid assists the Company to raise a few quid but not convinced it helps shareholders for the hassle involved in buying. I tried to open an account yesterday and it proved impossible, eventually was told by a helpful operative at PrimaryBid that I did not qualify (non UK resident). So this morning went into the market and bought at 1.885p through my usual broker! Got to say I thought the share price would hold above 2p.
We await further news. Good that debt is being reduced. Still trying to figure out if two shareholders holding very close to 50% and clearly working in concert is a good thing or not. As another poster mentioned yesterday, I wonder if we are heading for a private buyout. We remain a tiddler at mkt cap £25m
Been pumped as usual too get placing away
Ffs nice drop
Peter Levine is sly. Don’t like the way this raise has come about, I’m out.
