A push northwards and the herd will come and complain
that they cannot buy. Why let go ? They could have bought
and only can buy when the market is mild and not going wild.
Well said WayneJ, who in their right mind would sell now, it’s time to hold or buy with the share starting to climb north. With a constant flow of good news and everyone like you said holding on, this will push northwards.
I think we've had plenty of good news. Drill results so far have been far from poor, we are aware we are hugely undervalued and if we're honest we know exactly what we need to do to encourage sentiment to improve further, buy! The more shares in sticky hands the more this has to move on any news. Logically if we won't let go of the shares the MM's will have no option but to raise the SP, we've seen it before multiple times. Personally very happy with the turn around so far this week, its up to us to keep it going. If we all have the mindset "but what if" or "I'll wait for it to drop again", it will inevitably drop and so will sentiment and we remain in the vicious cycle of too afraid to buy and too keen to sell. Newmont and Agnico on board, assays due at any time, cash in the bank, gold price strong and getting stronger, awaiting licence approvals etc. The futures bright and I can't honestly think of an explorer besides Orosur that I would be happier to be invested in. The upside here is huge, do your research and tell me I'm wrong! Here's to more blue days ahead and the correction in SP we all deserve.
Surely we’re due for some good news soon, too encourage the climb even further
Another day or two like this and you can see volume returning. And we know what happens when we get volume, 20-30% days.
What we do know is China has moved in on neighbouring Buritica so we know competition is strong for gold claims.
Omi couldn’t be in a better position for investor holding.
The dream is alive and kicking for Columbian gold and OMI has a free stake in it with two of the best gold majors Globally.
The price of gold (now at $1887) and the collapse of Bitcoin are definitely helping us. And (let's face it) we deserve a bit of luck. Most of us will either be carrying onscreen losses, or greatly reduced profits (and many regrets), since the high point in February.
$1889 gold price
@Impecunious nothing wrong with selling anywhere - to book profits / cut losses - every investor has different reasons and targets (thank heavens) - that's what makes a market. I was simply testing the aggressiveness of the bid. But this is nowhere near my selling range, given what we know to date. Bottom drawer definitely still locked tight!
This is playing out exactly as I expected, the trend has now clearly changed.
A realistic short term target is 22.5p to 25p if momentum/volume really kicks in it could be much higher, all indicators are turning to positive mode from very depressed levels. The RSI is neutral, folks who want in may struggle to acquire stock so I expect any weakness to be bought into.
Time to buy !
Hi, Paul @13.49.
It's nice to hear my remark of yesterday being repeated. When the time does come to take profits, I think few of us will mention it on this billboard, for fear of being lynched.
Yet selling after a sharp rise is nothing to be ashamed of; for it allows one to support the share price when it falls. Which one cannot otherwise do, unless one has a fresh supply of capital (which most of us don't).
Carnage everywhere today, especially the cryptos. They are too volatile for my liking, I rekon a lot will leave them alone after today, China is just the beginning. It’ll be nice to see gold close over 1870. Al bodes well for the juniors.
Be nice to see some of the money heading into gold stocks again, been down for too long.
crypto is in freefall right now
Me neither, selling at this price makes no sense at all!
@Waynej - correct I was just offered 17.90 for 100k, didn't take it, obvs!
all sorted...found it
yeah i know what it is but i can't find OMI on there that's why i asked if it was meant for another BB.
AQSE - Aquis stock exchange
AQSE? Was this meant for another BB?
Not forgetting world markets are down today generally , yet omi is still creeping up slowly, maybe this is the turnaround for omi, we shall see gla.
Again offering a premium for a large sell also
Nice buys coming through over on AQSE also
Bid and ask ticking up...
