Wigwammer - not quite. They were short positions from triple digits, simply a massive profit take. And yes, that fuel has now been removed!
Quite right Phoebus - huge short squeeze as nervous shorters struggled to unwind positions. They are are right to be nervous. There is no cap on the amount a short position here could lose if Goldman’s convince the market there is a way through :)
Phoebus - indeed. Too many nervous holders because the cash flow model is broken , production and reserves are dropping and the crazy debt pile isn't manageable.
Hardly any volume to get hold of...everyone wants a piece now. Imho DYOR
Looking better now
NT to buy and sell ha ha - make that market eh!
If you were hoping for a cheaper entry than this - time is running short - that was the absolute bottom artificially dragged down - it’s game on now the rally north has begun and as I said it is moving back up fast! Imho DYOR
It may catch a technical bounce off the 20p level.
Well said. I have a feeling the 5p to 33p move was just a big short squeeze.
should see a rise here now, some small shorts have gone long now
The answers have been given, numerous times. Even Berenberg target a positive npv and 25p target. Is the repetition bot not happy with their answer either? :)
The wait goes on for an answer.
Suggests, no one knows !
Probably another small production decline, but perhaps the first feedback from the review. Possible items 1) completed commissioning of GTU3 .. 2) asset reports, including from schlumberger, driving drilling plans in proven areas 3) acquisition of further exploration areas 4) potential purchasing in of debt at a discount to reduce leverage 5) further efficiencies. Goldman’s won’t be aiming to help the shorts :)
and were down 3%. Any buying will send this into orbit! Come on!!
So what are we expecting - good news I hope! We are so massively undervalued compared to the cash position and asset base
Yeah, then he went all quiet, during the rise to 32p on 22nd October, lol
Did nickel REALLY write this at 8p? Poor call but he doesn’t have the humility to acknowledge and learn :)

RE: Going bust because of the debt11 Oct 2019 08:06
It’s a case of getting out , grabbing what you can salvage before the inevitable
NICKEL INVESTOR - Ok you banged on for two days now so either put up and invest here or go and find another share and another board to harangue with your agenda. Filtered.
It's dropped because the bulls don't have an argument - they have run out of steam. The debt load is simply too high here and capex is backfiring because it's not delivering results.
Interesting that many of yesterday’s trades were ALGO trades...think we’ve been targeted by possible ii/hedge which all stands in good stead to rubber stamp that this is a good call for those invested here. However as you can see with the sometimes tiny trades- don’t get spooked with the price - the good thing with Algo trading is that it can push up the price dramatically and very quickly. I expect a rather quick reversal therefore. All imho. DYOR.
So why has the share price dropped this week? Just curious from peoples comments on here it seems this was destined towards 40p+ this week.
You work at night as well?!
Love it when the responders get personal, just confirms they have no argument , debate .
The problem here is that the NPV doesn’t match the size of the debt . That’s the difference between this and other setups with huge amounts owed ! The trend is clear - production and reserves keep winding downwards which is only making the outlook even more impossible .
and on that note.... im definately off this bored now. ive said my bit. everyone should do theor own research.... you were just my play puppet for the day nickle - no offence.... im sure your lovely. it is what it is.
good luck folks
ok nickel.... its a bit like this... $1 billion sounds alot to most people. mention a billion dollar debt - and most people run for the hills.... which... im guessing you want them to - its part of your day job to promote the fear into people. i get it.
its no different to owing your bank £1,000, and yet you earn... nothing, which means inevitably the bank... unless they are real stupid... do not give you a loan. makes sense so far? are you with me?
and so nog... hige infrastructure, money in bank, wells that produce and scope to produce... alot more.
a million, billion.... zillion.... it matters not if you have the scope, latitiude and potential to pay it off.
now someone... some big instititutional investors seem to think that nog can pay off/restructure the debt. i cannot believe im talking to an mm like this? why am i telling you this? its simply because im purely bored... im actually bored of writing this drivel to a person, paid to deramp, paid buy a bank, who has to get up in the morning, put a suit on still probably and just communicate on boards like this??
is this what your degree was about? search your soul nickle.... did you really sign up for this? your poor sod.
as i have said.... nog is a gamble, there is no point your boss trying to get you to deramp this. its going zero or hero.
but if you are bored in your job, then look up david seabridge - thats me.... im kinda alot bigger than you nickle, and i understand you have to do your job. im just here to give people the reality.... and i hide behind... nothing :-) i dont have to
