it does not indicate where it will go
They day of the drop starting the opening price was a year high, I don't think the morning opening price necessarily reflects what happens that day.
Donotrader ‘Not a good indicator’ - do you mean the French opening price doesn’t help indicate where the market in the uk will go or that it’s low and therefore a bad sign?
If we go under £8 a share today whichever way you swing it this is worth more than a small punt. We're looking at revenues far exceeding the mcap at a time when the broader market is as jittery as it's been since April.
I know where my cash is going.

the pre opening price in France is not a good indicator of the day's activity
Most indices were down 2-3% yesterday. That I could live with. Not 14 or 15%. Looks like it is down another 7 or 8% already today. This is brutal for a stock that should be capatalising on the lockdown
Don't think they're that stupid.
Far better to have your spare cash in an innovative gold standard diagnostic test than having a house crammed full of toilet rolls.
@£2 we hadn’t received half a billion pound contract
Are you sure I don't know what to do
Surly we got other stuff going on why has this dropped so much
They were selling to 130 countries when the MMs had the price at £2
From a psychological perspective who exactly is going to sell now? There won't be many PIs that think jumping ship at £8 is going to allow them to join back in under £7. The time to sell was when the share price was in freefall...
Struggle!? Selling to 130 countries??
From Twitter
RUMOUR: Hedge fund looks to be crudely selling into covid stocks to accumulate shares and take out private investor stops losses, regularly. [UNCONFIRMED]

RATIONALE
[UPDATE 29TH OCTOBER]
Third move in past few weeks shows increasing regularity of co-ordinated move by hedge fund to take out stop losses and accumulate cheaper shares.
Four shares are affected in total, though not every share is hit if conditions are not right, ie. too much buying pressure that day.
Novacyt, Eurobio and Theradiag were hit at the same time on 28th October at 1pm GMT.
It was previous assumed selloff was by a fund experiencing high growth, however the crude and increasingly regular move looks more like a hedge fund or similar party.
Before every big rise there was a period of uncertainty and pessimism. I remember around the £3 mark suddenly noticing all the twitter lads had gone quiet. Within a few weeks it had reached £8 and was moving towards £12!
I have been waiting all week, but today’s the day to top up imo.
Down another 5%. This is more than a wobble by the looks of it. Without France on board this is going to struggle
Down €8.75 last time I looked
8.78 at the moment. Closing was 9.20. Looking like another rough day here folks, unfortunately. Must be a seller in the background?

How is it looking pre-market in France?
