... and who would need a q1024? what is the market for that?
This makes no sense at all. Most of the big labs machines have plates of 96...
Btw, be careful, you start monologuing... maybe you should have your own thread and talk there
I thought that with q32 results can be provided within 60minutes ... much better than 36 hrs already
And if I have to choose between 60minutes with 100% sensitivity and 100% specificity or a 15min with a sensitivity below that... the choice is clear
Personally, I prefer Valneva and its inactivated approach for a COVID-19 vaccine.
The fastest known creation of a vaccine is 5 years, for Ebola. If you seriously think a credible vaccine will be marketed within the next year 9inch fail then you honestly should lay off the booze. What exactly Is the point you’re trying to make anyway?
‘36 hours to come for a result. I prefer 15 minutes.’
Result within the hour with a Q16/Q32 machine. I can’t see a reason why the mobile sites can’t have a handful of Q32 machines for same day results.
Results in NHS setting will be within the hour.
I don't know where all this is heading to !?
But to come back to the initial conversation:
To answer a tender for the govt, you need to have the organisation in place, the right people for all the required roles, the proof you can manfacture what you intend to sell, proof the quality of your product...
All this requires money upfront and I am not sure all the small companies provided by 9inch could have answered such tenders.
Novacyt hired more than 60 people since last march, we have seen the hiring of some govt support roles, the quality of our covid-19 test is checked every week, we have increased the production capacity x100 in 4 months (as said today) and are able to continue to increase on demand (they involved a consulting company to help at that time), we have invested 13M€ to increase inventory in order to be able to produce such big contracts,...
Well it is clear to me that our cash newly acquired helped to fulfill this but it is also because the management has a clear vision of where they are heading to.
With all this in mind, I am confident for the future of this company
9 inches listen to me ...get a girlfriend and use that 9 inches for something good.
I like the news on the independent...massive news coverage, if all goes well more contract to come and this is only UK. Considering that winterplex was for the US market...imagine the contract coming from US.
We have double revenue for this year with just one contract...the rest of the world is coming...
If remember correctly capacity is 10 million test per month at lets say £10 is 100 millions x month potentially....just rough vague calculation, I am sure that if opportunity comes NCYT management will know how to outsource and produce as many gagged as needed.... Thus is a truly long term 1 billion market cap company .......the new normal means that there will be always the need for covid testing, there always be the need to distinguish symptoms between influenza and covid .
Unless we start to live in lock down for ever, covid will always be with us. Unless we all take 2 vaccines every year flue/covid, we will always need to be sure that we don't have covid.
end of the day,9 microcosms, nuffin like a good gloat over the pf after a day like today.c u next tuesday

Hmm - now here’s an interesting story on AlphBioLabs ...
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/24/world/europe/uk-coronavirus-tests-profiteering.html
9inchnail,
The AlphaBiolabs COVID-19 Antigen (Ag) Rapid Test is one of the world’s first rapid screening tests for the identification of the COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2), from 14 days after initial exposure to the virus and or after the onset of symptoms.
You have to wait 14 days or be symptomatic for this to work, a bit pointless? No mention of the specificity, probably junk status or why not mention it?
Might want to go to the Avacta board and let them know ...
its past your bedtime now 9 mill.give mummy back the i pad.
Or maybe they realised this themselves ... I had private conversations with PD back on the 20th March when the Basingstoke Hospital trial was in the news. I raised the issue of speed back then and there was an acknowledgment that it needed to be faster but that accuracy was the key differentiator at the time. Products, environments, needs and thinking evolve.
9inchnail, there isn’t a rapid test on the market that matches the accuracy of PCR? Novacyt know that NHS, care homes and near patient testing require the best accuracy to avoid disaster in those settings.
What makes you think we are behind our competitors brining a rapid test to market? Perhaps the trademark ‘Promate’ is our rapid test kit brand and it’s due to be released in the next month before our competitors? With an established government supply contract, it would be very easy for us to offer this ahead of our competitors.
Do you see the disruption to tonight's board when there is much to discuss?
30 out of the last 100 posts have been 9"nail talking tosh.
When did he last infest this board, - weeks ago.
If this were a party he'd be hear to spoil it. - Take a long walk off a short pier 9", go spoil somebody else's party.
Maybe it time to filter 9Fail! You are giving him too much blog space. Filturd! As soon as a share does well all the weirdos crawl out of the woodwork.
I wasn't here below £1 but I hear that you were saying the same thing then. What you call blind ramping has been proven to be correct - we are not at £1 so looks like we can call you a deramper.
9inchnail, some of the contracts awarded to private companies have been questionable (Randox), perhaps you should reinvest your time complaining to your local MP? Mologic, from memory, weren’t up to scratch in accuracy?
Novacyt are providing a top quality product, independently tested and.verified.
You still haven’t commented on our ability to develop a rapid test, it seems that’s one innovation you don’t want us to make?
Ok but you were saying they were making money in your post below. You need to thank trilla1337 for putting you straight there.
I can see what you're doing now. You are using us to do your research you crafty fellow. That's right isn't it?
Then you will go on another board and try and sound all credible with your new found knowledge.
Yes just like the rest of the world. Funny that.
Maybe you should go and buy some Avacta shares Captain believes in the company you both will get on really well. Oh you'll be able to but their shares cheaper as we at the moment.
Mologic are quite literally a ‘not for profit’. Last 9inch in the ol’ coffin there pal.
Test is still in development. More Great research 9inch. Can see why you had such an impact at keeping the share price below £1.
9inch you're just to good think you got us there. Have a read of this:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/metro.co.uk/2020/03/20/government-considering-12431251/amp/
Anything other words of wisdom or nuggets of information? Have you not noticed your other deramping friends have left the party maybe you should go and join them now?
Hi nine inch its a global roundup of people who may have covid so people can be sent.to have a real test in a healthcare setting. Ideal for third world countries and usa. A test that gives a maybe result is ideal to reduce pressure on healthcare services especially as winter arrives when the winterplex comes into its own .....we cant give are elderly population a maybe this is pillar 4 of the plan
So private companies are making a lot of money like us well that's great. Is there anything else you would like to discuss?
You sound a bit depressed feel like you lost out from this shares rise?
lol so we make too much margin, have too much of an excellent sensitive test, and are receiving too big contracts for a company of its size, oh the horror, how despicable to be such a well run profitable company. Don't worry, it wont be this size in the near future, or as I suspect tomorrow. Every day is another million or twos profit in the bank, onwards and upwards.
