It’s also plausible that GM doesn’t have anything good to report.
He hasn’t been silent as people keep saying. We’ve had 2 RNS in less than a week. He’s been telling us news but nobody seems to want to listen to that.... apart from those that are selling up that is.
Fair point but I’m already 70p better off for being on the side. Even if I end up back in at the same level I sold but in a stock with positive sentiment that’s announced a m and a and sorted the aquisitions that’s better than being in at £3.70 and not knowing whether it’s going to drop through the floor again tomorrow.
But good news will make the sp rocket, and using your tactic Hydr, you won't be holding.
I'm not talking about a new product announcement.
I'm talking about H1 M&A activity, or a large contract,
or as seems a little more plausible these days through GM silence, - a buyout.
I think there is probably a lot of holders who were in early and have held all the way up to £12 and seen their holding multi bag. My portfolio had become totally exposed to Novacyt because of the massive gain and I’d topped up on the way up.
My usual tactic is to just hold and providing I still see value in the stock add on weakness (double down) with the little cash I can afford on a monthly basis but with Novacyt I wasn’t in a position to ‘double down’ as my holding had become too big.
So the tactic had to be sell, avoid loss and wait for sentiment to change and redeploy some elsewhere which is what I’ve done and what I should have done at £12.
When stocks are dropping I’ve learnt you should never do nothing. Sell, wait for the bottom and double down but don’t just sit there and watch your holding disintegrate. Make a decision, get a strategy to deal with it and execute.
Well done Hydr31, finally someone tells it as it is.
I sold, because I can get a gain elsewhere in the next 6 weeks. I not a paid deramper, or a shorter. Just someone trying to increase their wealth. Its very likely that I can get back in here at a lower price, if I cant then so be it. This is never going to jump back to £12 in one day. Plenty of other Aim stocks will jump 10 or 15% in a day if that is what you want. If it takes off then great ill buy on news. Dont understand why others with large losses don't do the same.
Even at 1 % though it’s not a lot is it to be materially effecting the price. Surely this is just people selling?
Especially when you consider the amount of times the rampers have said they are ‘topping up’ . Would have thought the price would be flying up!! Must have an endless stash of cash!!

560,000 shares to buy back .As I've said before Voleon got it totally wrong last year when good news ruined their short .
Novacyt aren't on short tracker, I assume because the primary listing is in France. Here's the link you're looking for.

It's an AI algorithm derived shorter so will just be taking advantage of the low volume and lack of buying interest until news lands.
I might add as well, your going on about hating shorters but I checked short tracker. Com and I can’t see any major short % on Novacyt.
Are you sure it’s being shorted? I think given the news flow more investors are just selling at the moment compared to those buying.
Saint smith, I’m still around. Just been busy with the day job. I almost repurchased some today actually but then had second thoughts. I don’t do shorting, but I can read a chart and as I have been saying since £4,50 this is a precarious time to buy. Safer to stick on the sidelines, especially if you have a lot of capital at risk.
The stock is in a down trend and the stock needs to break out of that before it goes higher otherwise it can just keep slipping south. Maybe not an issue if you have bought low and have conviction but if you have a lot invested or have already lost half of it.... yikes
Great day yesterday but it was driven by traders who jumped out again. Reality is this will find the level where there are no more sellers and then it can start rebuilding. Unfortunately with uncertainty it opens the door to speculation. And in the same way that rampers over speculate the stock, derampers will over despeculate the stock. So the selling stops when there isn’t a reason to sell anymore. Let’s see if it retests the previous low again tomorrow. If it bounces back off it would be a good sign it’s found the bottom.
@troublesome they are probably signing me up to grinder as we speak . Oh hang on , think some of my hilarious mates did that years ago . Better check actually ........
I think most genuine people on this board shine through once you spend several months reading their posts .
Good luck all genuine holders , we won’t be at these bargain prices for ever .
Fortuna8, you were right... I haven't read all of your posts, I had better things to do. Infact, I was really busy shaving my pubes, lockdown has seen them grow a bit out of control.
@LW
Agree - however, there's no need to feed the pond life in the meantime.
Do like goldfish though but this lot dwell in all the gunge at the bottom just waiting for some lucky morsel to fall their way.
The difference with this particular group is they have something that last years groups didn't have - indifferent and then bad news to peddle their agenda with.
The minute this dispute is drawn to a close in our favour and some more sales news comes out - off they fück!
@Saintsmith
The problem is they can't maintain their facade and eventually lose credibility.
They will probably search through your p;ost looking for something they see as some kind of weakeness, be it emotional or otherwise - low life, is too good a term to describe them.
One consolation is the fact they will never know the meaning of true happiness or experience real love.
I’ve noticed since scardiecat and hydra has disappeared, fortuna has taken its place.
They all seem to hold Barnet Peter in high esteem . Aka Peter de month from twitter .
Deramping team who disrupt and insult good shareholders off this board .
Kaerens been a holder of NCYT for as long as I have been in this board .
Sod off you shorting scum . Time to report their posts from now on I think .

If you think that I'm going to spend another penny here, you've got another thing coming or haven't read all my posts. I said that as a joke because Dartron said he loves annoying another poster by buying at a lower price than him. Since that other poster was trolling Dartron and I on the same thread and insulting us, I said I would do the same. If you had read my other posts, you'd know that I expect this share to go down to £2, which was forecasted by a very insightful person here two days before Black Friday.
The only reason that I bought a fraction of the shares which I sold on Black Friday is that I could see a takeover coming at this reduced price.
Do I regret not waiting some more? Sure. And, before you ask, I won't be buying lower to dilute my sp. That's what I did last time and every time I topped-up, the sp moved lower. I ended up having a much larger investment than I had originally intended and as such, a much bigger loss.
Topping up is a very good tactic if you've bought a share high and it works if you buy a FTSE share, but not on AIM, where anything goes and there's no logic.
I really came to understand what he*o*in addicts mean when they use the phrase "chasing the dragon".
Openly admits to looking for this to get pushed down to £3 by spouting its negativity.
Will probably go full on ramptastic when "in".
I have more respect for traders that don't feel the need to broadcast their game all over bulletin boards.
